Part 4 had some more interesting abilities, but the character designs and plot were much lacking. It also felt more detatched, Josuke being a relative and not a direct descendent.

Part 7 was so far removed from the series and too tedious for me to read. I couldn't figure out which manga I was reading anymore. Sure, here were some familiar names, but a horse race? It sound like one of the thousand sports-based Mario spin-offs in nature...
