@Katzztar:
I just had a ..disagreement… with an uncle about Trump and the beauty contestant.
Not just saying she "was not very bright", Trump made some sexual innuendo at her expense. kept repeating " she came" then commented at the audience about them having dirty minds left no doubt about what he was implying.
Note his words. He wasn't 'just joking'. He said he was getting even, that if someone screws you, screw them back tenfold. He said that then calls her up on stage. ITs obvious that its not a joke but "getting even".
He insulted her intelligence, then makes a crude sex joke at her expense, then then tries to drag her into an unwanted kiss … all in front of a huge audience of strangers. And no he didn't intend to kiss her on the cheek, he was aiming for the lips, she used her arm to deflect it.
Trump has those beauty contestants sign contracts, she's likely not allowed to argue, esp. in front of an audience.
I've been so annoyed by his attitude of "no big deal" I've not visited FB yet to see if he responded
Yes, he said that lightheartedly. Even goes on to say immediately afterward that her not being very bright wasn't true.
If the woman herself doesn't think it's a big deal and feels she's been treated respectfully, then it probably isn't a big deal.
@Monkey:
You really are a simpleton. I mean the bad pun enthusiasm was one thing but wow.
Like what Louis-1988?
Happy to have a conversation with you after you show you can be civilized. Not interested in having lengthy discussions with people whose first instinct is to insult and act condescending towards others when they say something you disagree with. Can't have a healthy dialogue if we're just insulting each other back and forth. Until then, I'm sure you watch/read the news.
@RoboBlue:
The question is… should we believe her? The video clearly shows that the physical contact was unexpected and unwanted.
Why shouldn't we? Have you considered the possibility that it didn't bother her anywhere near as much as you think it did? Why does this have to have bothered her despite her words to the contrary?
How about instead of trying to create smoke where there's no fire, we take a closer look at the 12 women who have actually accused him of assaulting them/making them uncomfortable? There might actually be something there, but this here is just silly.
