RNC forced to close their online convention chat after it turned into a jew bashing.
Indecision 2016 - In Soviet Russia, we elect american president!

Meant to post this the other day and forgot.
"Romney pumping gas" 2016 Chris Christie edition.

Flip over to CBS, people.
THE REAL STEPHEN COLBERT HAS RETURNED!
-
-
Apparently I'm not the only one who got deja vu listening to Melania Trump's remarks tonight. On top of the outrageous shitstorm the day one of the Republican National Convention was, this:

Should've stuck to bashing gays, women, blacks, & muslims.
!
It's very interesting a former supermodel who married a billionaire and who'll never have to work another day in her life could possibly know the meaning of hard work much less treating people with respect and keeping promises, something her oompa loompa of a husband most certainly doesn't.

THE REAL STEPHEN COLBERT HAS RETURNED!
FUCK! I forgot to watch it. Stupid work.
But Colbert is always at his best when doing politics. Especially Republican politics.
-
I always liked Stephen more than John because his jokes felt more like lighthearted ribbing than anything.
-
Best possible ways for this to go are Kim Kardashian posting a snapchat of Melania actually asking Michelle Obama for permission for the speech, or Melania tweeting out #ThanksObama.
-
Rather than a Convention it felt more like I was watching the Roman coliseum. With popcorn.

Hahaha, how the hell does that happen? Who approved this? Michelle must have called her up and said, 'Let me give you a few words of advice'.

The Hill link isn't working for me.
Edit: I see the problem now. There's an extra "the" on the end of the link. This should work.

For Melania Trump's next speech, I hear she's going to promise the following about her husband:
He will never give you up
He will never let you down
He will never run around and hurt youHe will also never make you cry
nor will he ever make you say goodbye
And he certainly will not tell a lie and desert you.She truly is wise.

So let me get this straight he supports Donald Trump and he resigned because the "No Trump" crowd's voices weren't heard? Also if you needed a reason to not like Scott Baio http://www.rawstory.com/2016/07/watch-msnbc-interview-gets-heated-when-tamron-hall-confronts-trump-loving-actor-over-sexist-tweets/

It's one thing to disenfranchise minorities and the poor but fellow Republicans, even at a political kabuki theater, is going too far.
-
Donald Trump is now officially the official republican nominee.

Donald Trump is now officially the official republican nominee.
I'd say God help us all, but that sentiment's soured by the fact that is what far too many Republicans think is already happening.
-
Sooooo are we fucked yet?
-
@Mr.:
Sooooo are we fucked yet?
Nah. Barring disaster of some kind Trump can utilize, this election is Clinton's to lose.
He's alienated far too many, groups and individuals alike, inside and outside the Republican party, that he isn't likely to get the numbers he'd need unless voter turnout is Uber-crappy, which his very nomination should guarantee against.
-
The ticker at the convention was promoting a fake Trump Twitter account, lol.

CNN pundits say this convention is more succesful than McCain and Romney's.

CNN pundits say this convention is more succesful than McCain and Romney's.
Well yeah if you casually ignore the delegates that didn't want Trump, Sean Smith's mother, & Melania copying words from someone else's speech But I'm not trying to imply or accuse anyone of anything.
-
CNN pundits say this convention is more successful than McCain and Romney's.
You've probably already noticed, but tepid balancing spins is something CNN loves doing mostly regardless of things on the ground. They will take "This is going relatively well" and that just becomes "This went well", and yeah sometimes even obviously wrong bullshit like that.Because they love a horse race narrative and want the attention it brings. Retarded puppy in full effect.

So we had War yesterday when Never Trump tried to derail things, Pestilence here, I imagine Famine will come next when no one can get anything down/refuses to eat convention food with norovirus going around, then finally Death will come knocking in November.
-
Paul Ryan just said it's time for change. I think that's plagiarized from an Obama speech too.
-
Realized that Mitch McConnell has completely expressionless eyes. It's like a decaying body being puppeteered by a parasitic worm.

I had to go look up novovirus on wiki and found this= "The virus is transmitted by fecally contaminated food or water, by person-to-person contact,[3] and via aerosolization of vomited virus and subsequent contamination of surfaces" So basically people got sick from the shit Trump was vomiting? @taboo:

Thanks for the link, I found two things interesting there. This Hindu-American Shalabh Kumar speaks same two language as Trump. = A- Money and B- racism. "Kumar was especially won over by Trump’s tough words for Pakistan, India’s neighbor and nemesis; and the businessman praised Trump’s views on Muslim profiling."- Kumar

Ben Carson just accused Hillary Clinton of being a devil worshiper
-
I think that'll go into the "liar pants on fire" column.
Assuming anyone bothers to add that to the fact check tally.
-
Ben Carson just accused Hillary Clinton of being a devil worshiper
And I thought Trump's insults were bland and unoriginal.

So, uh, can I just apologize on behalf of Iowa for Steve King? Well I mean, I WANT to do it on Iowa's behalf, but I guess a lot of people voted for him… You sure learn a bit about your home during the political season. :(
I can't wait until someone tries to frame Hilary for "plagiarizing" the original video, as a rebuttal to attacks on Melania's speech.

I wrote it with as little help as possible
Well, you aren't wrong.
-
You know I can't help shake this feeling with Trump winning the nomination something was forgotten by some of us.

This year is an ugly ugly year where everyone the world over seems to be watching slimy hairy glistening insects crawl out from behind the walls of their homes, walls they thought were safe and clean. Like I keep saying, this is our chance to smash them, and after all they were always there, but if you aren't shuddering a lot in 2016 you aren't paying attention. So tldr, Iowa has nothing to apologize for that anyone else doesn't also it seems.

Is this man playing some kind of joke? What exact reasons is he for Trump anyway? All I could discern was that he wants a "strong" leader. Ignoring all the disparaging remarks and implications Trump has made about Muslims.
-
^ Basically it's a play to show that Trump's/The GOP's support among certain grows isn't as maligned as reported because
fuck polls and public opinion. Also apparently Don King was booted as a potential speaker from the RNC for reasons.
-
So apparently this guy is one of those types to put his fingers in his ears and go "lalalala I can't hear you!"
-
American Muslims for[[/b] Trump

I'm legitimately curious how many members a group of pro-Trump Muslims actually has…
-
Its one of the strongest, most famous politcal ads there is. (Along with Daisy and 3AM phone call) It's brilliant that they're reusing it, I said months ago they should since it really is almost point for point the same scenario, down to the guy being nuke happy. The old one almost word for word would be just fine once trump gets the nom. From the editing it looks like they may have actually filmed a four minute version. Is that actually the same guy 50 years later?
I dont know if I would call it brillianr, simply reusing ads that apply nowadays signals a lack of creativity from her team that kind of mirrors her lack of charisma and general likeability. For an establishment candidate I feel like she should try to present a more unique identity

It's one of THE most famous political ads of all time. It's still remembered 50 years later. It was a bout a crazy nutball who'd play loose with Nukes then, and it is now. Calling back to that is a very, very good thing. It automatically rings of "this guy is so terrible we have to pull out another terrible guy from way back just to have a comparison."
That election was a huge landslide loss for the party, hopefully this'll be the same.
-
Is that the death throes of an once great party I'm hearing?
-
What is dead may never die, it only rises even more racist.

Wait, when did Hindu become a race/nationality?
