Did you complain about Enel not defending or dodging Luffy's final move despite having super prediction abilities? Because that was way more unbelievable than what Law (who was way closer and had the surprise element) did here.
Nope, because I wasn't reading OP at the time od the release. But for the record, the finale of their fight left a lot to be desired.

What herpdat wrote in his excellent analysis of the underlying points of the Doflamingo, Law, Luffy relationship really rings true in this chapter.
As Doflamingo lies on the ground and Law stands above him, they both note how someone like Rocinante was too good of a person to actually "pull the trigger", but that Law himself is capable of doing so. Doflamingo states that Law is just like himself and Law agrees and states that he's fine with that. But he earlier stated that he will never become someone like Doflamingo and that Rocinante saved him from that fate. Clearly, it's not really "fine" if Law is just like Doflamingo. But, enraged by Doffy's comments on Corazon, he attacks him in anger and attempts to extinguish his life.
But Law's chance to kill his nemesis is ripped out from under him. Instead of the success he thought he finally had he is met with failure. And for the first time he seems to truly give up, covering his eyes and repeatedly exclaiming his anger and grief at his failure as he can't even move to escape the foot ominously approaching to end his life by stamping out his brains.
But instead of his life ending there and then Luffy, his newfound ally, friend and fellow D clan, with his good-natured personality, steps in. Law's burden is passed to Luffy who takes it upon his own back and in it becomes a bit like a new Corazon to him, helping him carry a weight he couldn't carry on his own and steering him away from a darker path. Law wasn't allowed to personally execute Doflamingo because in his drive for revenge he teetered so close to becoming what he didn't want to become. Through his genuine friendship with Luffy we instead see camaraderie and humanity overcoming the evil of Doflamingo. In a way it's similar to how Kyros didn't allow Rebecca to fight, though, in my opinion, much less hamfisted than that, and more appreciably (light) grey due to Luffy and Law being, after all, genuine pirates.
As such Luffy helping Law defeat Doflamingo takes on more of a meaning than the apparent face-value of how it "requires two Supernovas to beat him" or how "Luffy repays his debt from Marineford". While those may also be true, seen in light of the above (fully credited to herpdat) it can help you really appreciate how Oda has woven the stories of the two together and what Law's struggle from 13 years ago all the way to the present time is about (since a lot of people seem to have become a bit jaded with him these days, I think it's a good time to highlight his qualities as a character).

I just don't understand the argument that this was filler or that we went a step backwards in this chapter. This is what NEEDED to happen before the final bout. Law's shit needed to be resolved instead of him being KO for the final fight and reviving when it's all done. It's far stronger writing for Law to have almost suceeded but failed than to have never come even close. Otherwise, what did he spend these last thirteen years for? And even then, his actions will probably have a significant on Doflamingo
I also really love what it says about Doflamingo, it really hypes up the New World and shows our protagonist how far they have to go to hope to compete with these monsters. The toll to take down the old regime of the New World is a high toll indeed.
And again, I really love how Luffy handled himself this chapter. That foot thing has to be one of the most cool scenes in the entire series. Simple and powerfully effective imagery. And I love how Luffy has calmed himself down before fighting Doflamingo. This is what hypes me up more than anything. Last week, I just couldn't buy that Luffy could be able to touch Doflamingo. Not when he was rushing like a mad bull. But now that he's stopped following his face and has resolved to fight him as an equal (plus Law's attack really helped with my suspension of disbelief), I can now accept a Luffy victory, the ingredients are in place and all is left is some nice Oda style fighting execution.
Really though, I think people need to re-examine this chapter a bit more because I believe this chapter is far more crucial and necessary than they might realize. Not to sound condescending :P
Side note: The only question is how this is gonna go because I doubt Oda would make the time limit an hour for no reason. Could we expect some more left turns here and there?

Actually, this part was a lot like Bleach in how characters were static and unable to move. Yes, Dofla who stood like an idiot without even attempting to dodge or block and Trebol who waited for quite a while before reacting, even though he was standing right next to Dofla at the beginning.
Yes, there's a lot of silly complaints, but this fighting bit being bad is not one of them.
I'm not talking about fighting since there wasn't a lot of that, I'm talking about how the characters moved and how the action scenes were set up, something we take a lot for granted. Good perspectives, easy to follow action, nice, intense dynamic body postures, really good stuff.
Also quit harping on the Doffy thing, it's totally reasonable for him to lose focus when the guy he just killed showed up in front of him. And we have no idea how much time passed this chapter, it's totally reasonable that Trebol had no time to react.
No really, go reread last week's Bleach because you can't even tell what the fuck is going on.
It is also possible that while Luffy distracted DD, he switched back with the fodder after the initial switch to doge the bullets.
This seems to be what was conveyed in this chapter. At the beginning of the chapter you can clearly tell that the "dead body" is Law, as it has his tattoo and his exact face (the fodder he replaced himself with doesn't look similar enough to Law to confuse the two faces from the front). Also when he communicates to Luffy about his plan Luffy seems to look back on the body, suggesting it actually is Law behind him.

Law switched places after he was shot the first time. The barrage of bullets Doflamingo shot afterward were what the fodder guy took.
Also people keep harping about Law "destroying" Doffy's organs but what does destroy even mean in this context? Is it obliterate completely turn into mush or is it simple poked a fuck load of holes and/or slices and cuts in them. Because the latter is treatable with sutures.
inb4 next chapter goes back to Usopp and Viola fighting off goons or some shit.
This arc needs to end. Like, yesterday. It's dragged on WAY too long and there are other more interesting elements happening outside this bird cage.

Problem with this, though, is… what was the point in doing it?
He used Shambles after the very first gun shot. The fodder took the rest of Doffy's rage. You can see gun shot sfx in the panel where Law is still wearing the henchman uniform.
According to Mangastream, the guy was dead before the Shambles. But it's mangastream so…

I wonder if the guy who Law swapped places with waas the same guy Baby 5 shot off the building because he made fun of Pica's voice. That'd be one bad day for him.
Because if Dofla cut Law's head off (and considering what he did to Oars and what he tried to do to Crocodile it's rather easy for him), Oda couldn't have fooled us with Law's "death".
Fact that it happened 2 times in this arc makes it even worse.

It is also the same way he killed Cora, and could mean that Dofla doesn't consider Law worthy to die to Ito-Ito no mi.
And here Dofla once again proves that when he gets full of himself he loses touch with reality and gets hit by the events that don't follow his plans.
The pacing of the arc just doesn't affect my enjoyment of the current chapter.
I can understand why it does for people but it's never made me say that "this chapter doesn't have as much impact on me anymore".

As the first (if I'm not mistaken) that called this chapter fillerish, and later said it was actually going backwards, I see where you're coming from, I do. See, from a content POV, as some have said before, the chapter was actually quality material in itself. I'm talking art, coreography, and the final page is great too. My problem comes from the fact that. . .we've been through this before. We segued out of the flashback right into Law vs. Doffy, and ended 768 with an injection shot. 769 had Law resume his relentless assault on Dofla, but the conclusion was, boy, you tried your best, but you're totally outclassed. Off with your arm. What followed was total abuse by Dof and Treb, and it ended with last week's Law stand, not in a physical way, but in an idealistic and moral way. Fuck you, doffy. Doffy goes berserk and can't control himself in his fury, and Law gets wasted bad. Great stuff.

This chapter brought a supposedly dead Law in what seemed to be a pretty damned good shape, ready to unleash another plan involving some implausible shamble (now ¿chambers?) shenanigans and a new move that apparently kills your internal organs. Man, you totally killed last week's cliffhanger, which just so happened to be the week before that cliffhanger's too. But, let's just say, this brought closure for good, now for real. . .really? Can you believe it? Can you believe this was finally it for Law? He's frustrated, and it's a good scene, but is he really down after this and will finally leave it to Luffy? Last week, he was apparently dead, but that didn't stop the situation to being explained as an uber complicated plan involving tons of shambles. Now he's frustrated, I'd say that's a step above being dead. What's gonna make him stand down for a while?

There's nothing I hate more than joining the choir, specially when I've been enjoying this climax contrary to popular opinion (specially the post-flashback section with all the side characters shining big time), but. . .the arc needs to end sooner rather than later. It's no longer about enjoying it or not, it's about it being too long already.
I hope the 1 hour time limit is Oda not knowing how to properly hype the situation, cause there's no way in hell the fights gonna go for 1 extra hour, not in the state the fighters are in right now. 1 hour is like. . .a massive amount of time.
If, say, Doffy's throwing Luffy out of the palace again or something like that and we go back to square one. . .no. I don't even wanna think about that.
Only thing outside of Doffy vs. Luffy is : Fuji to do something uber, gravity related, to hold down the birdcage. Sabo to face Burgess, mostly off-paneled. And. . .that's basically it.

Doffy eating some of these hits even though he's supposed to be ultra fast is par for the course in shonen manga. Guy moves at the speed of light, suddenly gets decked by a slow moving energy beam, or punch to the face, or what have you. You're just expected to believe that move happened at an even faster speed, even if the characters had time to recite friggin' Macbeth during it.
I'm not questioning Fujitora right now, though god knows I should. I'm asking how in the hell Dofla came into conclusion that bringing every single strong fighter to him was a good idea.
Also, perhaps Fujitora could apply his mastery of one of four fundamental forces of universe to the strings, if nothing else? Pretty sure he should be capable of stopping it with a bit of effort.
This isn't to say that Doflamingo's overconfidence is believable, or even just not stupid. It's super stupid. It makes him a worse character, but I think it does so to make the story better at its core. Here is how:
I wrote some post somewhere about Nietzschean themes in one piece, and the takeaway relevant here is this: Luffy is very much so the sovereign individual - the freedom loving free man, so to say - and the sovereign individual has to have the ability to act his will - that means his actions must have power behind them. Over or underestimating one's ability to act one's will can cause one to fail to do so. Failure to do so means that you will be less free (Luffy's core value is freedom), and so over or underestimating one's ability to act one's will results in one's inhibition of freedom.
Overestimating oneself results in failure - Luffy losing his crew to Kuma, losing Ace at the war; Underestimating oneself results in denying one's power and diminishes one's will to act it. In both cases, your actions, choices, decisions, etc. are limited (either by failure or denial); one's freedom is inhibited.
If the pirate king is the man with the most freedom, then failing due to over or under-estimation of one's own power to act one's will demonstrates perfectly unfitness to be pirate king. It shows that you yourself limited your own freedom.
(For Nietzsche, reactive forces triumph over active forces by telling a lie about power; see "Nietzsche and Philosophy" by Deleuze for an awesome account of Nietzsche's theory of forces. I'll also point out that Nietzschean themes have permeated culture, and while Oda likely does not read Nietzsche (I would not be surprised if he does, though), One Piece has always had heavy Nietzschean theming, and so I think it appropriate to discuss it in that light.)
I started this post with a concrete discussion of Crocodile and underestimation, Doflamingo and overestimation, and Luffy's trials up until now. It was sloppy - an imprecise stalking horse. In light of the abstract stuff that I have now moved to the top of my comment, these concrete considerations MAY be a little more useful to understand what I mean, but I don't think they should be taken as standalone and they can probably even be ignored. They are now incomplete - fragmental - but here they are: I think Doflamingo's overconfidence (even if somewhat hyperbolic), and the failure it results in, is a crucial component of the story and his defining characteristic.
In OP, there is a theme of evaluation - specifically, what you think of yourself and others - in relation to actuality.
Crocodile, Doflamingo's pre-time skip analogy, radically undervalued his crew (we see this all the time, actually). They were mere tools for accomplishing his goal. His failure to take over Alabasta and to find an ancient weapon is, in significant ways, a function of this undervaluation - treating his allies like dirt bit him in the end.
Luffy, on the other hand, had too much confidence - he thought his crew (and, specifically, he) could stand against everyone. Even after his crew was blown away by Kuma, he thought "Let's just meet back up - we'll kick his ass this time!" It took the death of ace for him to realize that he had overestimated himself - he was not as strong as he thought he was, and he needed to be.
Luffy still struggles with this; at PH Zoro reminds him not to take Caesar lightly (does this happen in the manga? I only saw PH in the anime), not to overestimate himself or to underestimate others.
Now Doflamingo is doing both. He is overestimating himself and his crew - the tournament plan was insane from the get-go unless he thought he could take them all out if need be - and underestimating his enemies.
Doflamingo made it further than Croc - he took the city. But while Croc failed because he underestimated himself, Doffy is gonna fail because he is overestimating himself. In the past, Luffy has failed by overestimating himself, and beating Doflamingo now represents his development.
Well I found the chapter enjoyable as a stand-alone but as part of the arc I dubt this needed a chapter
I liked the cover story. Doesn't really avance anything but Sea-monsters boats are awesome.
Then we switch to the birdcage. It takes quite a decent time to set explains how awful it is. A little to much in my opinion.
While I don't expect them to get rid of the whole birdcage, I wonder why no one(Fuji or Zoro) try to make in exit on it by destroing part of the strings. Maybe they will be shown trying to do something when it's close enough.
Usopp panicking… I know it's cool to have confidence in Luffy but like Kinemon said isn't it unreasonable? They could at least try to provide some back-up to Luffy by running there(they will have to move anyway), fly there(Usopp could draw a bird) or send a message to those closer so they move their ass.
I don't expect anything from Fuji except some more random citizen saving(if he even get that).
Trebol got schooled easy and it's surprising to see how cool Luffy is to cooperation.
Not gonna lie. Oda got me fooled about Law taking care of business. I really was wondering the whole time"danm is Oda going to make Dofla go on in such a surprising fashion? Is it? Is it?..." And then Doflamingo pull out yet again a crazy move and just made the chapter a useless addition to me. We just circled around to end up at the same point once again but with one more chapter and more panels.
I wasn't really surprise by Law's move. I already said that fruit has the most loosely defined range of power so he would find the ability to fly that I wouldn't realy be surprise. On the other hand, strings stiching you up inside of your non-logia body was pretty hard to swallow for me. But we are talking about a guy who fly through strings and can create perfect clones through them... So I guess I have to give Doffly the prize for best devil fruit utilization. Never thought I would find someone to top Luffy(Law could be argued, but I just consider the fruit to be that hax).
I have good hope for the fight. As a villain I found Doffly pretty unsatisfactory but when it comes to fight and making me want to see more, he knows how to do it.

Well you say this is a rehash of what came before but I really do feel this is more of a resolution. Where Law really gave every last ounce of energy he had into this, pulled every last stop and secret gambit and STILL failed. It gives it that much more impact to me. That Law came close but no cigar. Opposed to him constantly being dominated and not being able to do anything. It doubly makes no sense if Luffy could somehow beat Doflamingo when Law couldn't. This way we have a perfectly good reason as well. Plus, did we really need one month of Law in limbo at least? Especially when we know he's not gonna die? Just to be tearified back to life and Luffy to go "Lol, sorry dude, kinda too late, I just beat him!" Here his character shows agency, his trials and tribulations have a purpose. Way more than an arc that resolved with sorry, you just could never come close to me. If Oda had the balls to kill off Law, that would be a fine resolution. But when you know he is still going to remain a major player down the line? For me at least this is the better route. And that's not even going into the fantastic symbolism Coruscation brought up which is just beautiful in its subtlety.
Regarding what else Law can do, he's probably really spent out but I wouldn't be surprised if he can pull one last minute helping hand with the absolutely last spurt of energy that he built up at the climax. WHICH I am crossing both fingers will involve Doffy thinking he decapitated Luffy with a string trap when SURPRISE, Law saw it coming and cut off Luffy's head first, your string trap missed, LAAWWWW KUSOOOO BOOM GLASSES BREAK GOMU GOMU NO BAZOOKA GRAGGHHHHH!!!!
Regarding Luffy, I just think it would have been poor form if Doffy lost to a far weaker opponent who couldn't think straight. Yeah, Luffy usually gets through via pure energy and instinct but given how the entire thing with Doffy has been DON'T fall for his mind games, don't lose your pace, while viscerally it might be satisfying to just go YOLO, it just wouldn't have been satisfying to me story-wise. Doffy is like top of the top or almost at least, it's gonna take more than Luffy being Luffy to beat him. Law's final gambit weakening Doflamingo plus that cool, composed Luffy hyped me up way more than LUFFY going MINGO HOW DARE YOU DO THAT TO LAW AND BELLAMY!!!! GOMU GOMO NO BULLSHIT VICTORY OUT MY ASS!!!! Because now I think Luffy can fight on an equal standing as a pirate to Doffy and now I think he can win.
! I don't know about you but did anyone notice when Trebol berated Doflamingo during his fight. One of the pages he says to him that a king should not be on his knees. It just gives me even more suspicion that there is a reason why Trebol is still standing with Doflamingo.

But what makes you think Trebol will 'stay aside'? With a newly, heavily injured DD, and no 1 else there, now; circumstances have changed enough that Trebol might and probably will change how he approaches this fight. Mainly DD vs Luffy, with Trebol interfering long range when Doffy seems at his weakest, or when Luffy is too focused on Doffy at the very least; still seems like very much "not the worst possible choice".

As much as I like Dressroa and is one of my favorite arc, damn it's long. Looks like Oda wants to make final fight as long.
The real final fight starts next week, I used to think it started like 1-2 chapters ago, not to mention when luffy and law got to DD and Trebol the first time. Luffy had more then he should trouble with bellamy and that string clone.
Don't get me wrong, this arc is one of the best, but it's just one island of the new world. There are so much stuff going on outside, like half of the SHs fight a yonkou. Wish Law takes cheerleader Trebol and have a picnic outside of the palace.
You have to know when to end something to not turn it from great to boring.

The arc started out pretty epic with the Coliseum (yes, I actually liked that part), Fujitora bringing down meteors, Don Chinjao, and Doflamingo doing his thing. Then we have quite a few chapters dedicated to storming the palace/freeing the captive toys. Not the most interesting, but it was decent build up. No, the biggest problem I have with this arc is the Donquixote Family. They are some of the biggest jokes I have ever seen in One Piece. Out of all the members there, the only members I would say are impressive are Dolfamingo himself, Vergo (not in this arc technically, but still, full-body armament haki), Senor Pink, who is my personal favorite (come on, you gotta love this dude), Gladius (honestly, he had the best fight so far in this arc), and to some extent Pica (only really for his ability to become essentially a moving mountain). Everyone else, terrible. Buffalo is worthless, Baby 5 has a cool power and not much else, Jora is a complete joke (this girl got taken out by Leo, a Tontatta), Sugar is pretty much just a plot device, Machvise is just terrible (pretty much his whole fighting style is just belly flopping on people), Dellinger is meh, Lao G is meh, Monet was alright I guess, but nothing special, Diamante was beyond disappointing, and Trebol is looking pretty mediocre right now as well.
Why is Fujitora even here? He's literally done nothing ever since he stopped fighting Sabo (which should've continued, as it's a fight everyone wanted to see, plus it would've given Fujitora an actual purpose in this arc). All I can say it that there better be a good reason as to why he absolutely refuses to fight Doflamingo.
And now with this latest chapter, it looks like me might be getting Luffy vs. a wounded Doflamingo. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? This had better not be the case, cause this fight is literally the only thing I'm looking forward to in this arc right now.

I pretty sure insurance companies have to deal with a lot of coverage in the One Piece world. In fact Oda should do a gag on that.
I liked the chapter. I guess I'm one of the few here who loves Law's powers, so every time I get to see them in use is a good time. Maybe it's because they're more than the usual punch-kick-slash formula, there's a little bit of planning to it. I still don't get where he got the countershock moves from however. If he was manipulating the nerves of his opponent, fine, but since it seems to be straight up electricity… it's a bit out there. Not as bad as string clone though.
I'm glad he at least got some considerable damage in. Luffy kicking away Trebol and especially when he stopped Doffy's foot was amazing. Somehow I'm suddenly more pumped now than I was after the fight with Bellamy. I think one of the things that's been nagging me as of late in OP is the lack of "speaking through action instead of words" - the characters can talk all they want and tell us cool stuff, but sometimes you need to see them DO stuff for the weight to really sink in.
There are of course some problems with the chapter as usual, thing that could've been improved in the whole, but I felt the good outweighed the bad so I'm content this time around.

Can you believe it? Can you believe this was finally it for Law? He's frustrated, and it's a good scene, but is he really down after this and will finally leave it to Luffy? Last week, he was apparently dead, but that didn't stop the situation to being explained as an uber complicated plan involving tons of shambles. Now he's frustrated, I'd say that's a step above being dead. What's gonna make him stand down for a while?

I was thinking about that too. Seems like between the birdcage and Pica Dressrosa has taken by far the most property damage of any previous country. It's a much bigger repair job than normal.
Looks like whoever is going to be on the throne will have to make damages apart of the platform.

It's funny how much opinions can differ.
For me the Donquixote family is the overwhelmingly greatest saving grace of this whole arc and, by far, far, far away the best full cast of antagonists this series has ever had. For me the difference in quality between the Donquixote family and DD himself, and much of the rest of the arc is so great that it teeters on approaching Mass Effect 3 levels.
While yes, they haven't all been treated with equal levels of dignity, they are still so much more fleshed out, diverse, interesting and humanized than any other previous antagonist group. That applies both to personality, power and relationships with each other and with their captain. That's despite there also being more of them than in any other previous group and in spite of the seven zillion characters taking up space in the arc. Although I do have my misgivings about how several of their fights were handled, the fact that they're still the highest quality antagonists we've ever seen by a long shot underlines just how good Oda did creating this bunch of misfits. This is the first One Piece arc where I can say without a shred of a doubt that the villains were by far the best and most memorable thing about it.
This chapter… man, this chapter.
There is more Devil Fruit based bullshit in this chapter then we have seen in a while, even in this arc full of bullshit Devil Fruits.

Luffy attacked as Doffly was about to kill Law. It's fairly normal he would follow-up to make sure Doflamingo is really out. Especially with birdcage out there.
Okay, I certainly did not expect a body double here in addition to an already active room. I said in the last thread that I can buy almost anything regarding the modify fruit and it still applies here. I did suspect Law was up to something (if not already dead) but had no idea how.
Although technically someone apparently did die, but just a no-name lackey, as per usual in One Piece.
Dofalmingo kinda looks like he's close to being done, but I've learned never to underestimate the man. Who knows what other surprises he has in store in the future chapters.
Oh, and this chapter confirmed Doflamingo does not have regeneration powers in relation to his puppet ability. Seems he's more akin to become some sort of string-enchanced "cyborg" if it came down to it, such as replacing a limb using his string fruit as long as his vitals aren't irreparable…so I'm going to go out on a limb to suggest he goes down via KO like all the rest. Shocking, I know.
When I first read the chapter I had mixed feelings about it, but now I kinda like it. It took me by surprise and almost scared me when Luffy was switched for Law. Good chapter overall.
I liked it when Doflamingo told Law how that Corazon was a burden etc. just to make him angrier.
Actually, Doffy probably cared about Corazon and Law more than he admits. Law wanted to kill him real bad, however Luffy wants to defeat him, like the other villains so far. Heck, Doffy even asked for some "spanking" from Law and he said that they are very much alike. I think Doffy wanted to be beaten up bad to justify his own brutality towards his family/crew members and people in general. He wants to justify that he has the right to be cruel, since the world has been cruel to him.
I hope Luffy will beat him in a way, Dofla can actually get over his personal issues and move on to something better.
And again everyone is watching the birdcage and waiting for luffy to beat flamingo ? rly? should they not try to beat the birdcage? should not be hard for zoro or others….

As the first (if I'm not mistaken) that called this chapter fillerish, and later said it was actually going backwards, I see where you're coming from, I do. See, from a content POV, as some have said before, the chapter was actually quality material in itself. I'm talking art, coreography, and the final page is great too. My problem comes from the fact that. . .we've been through this before. We segued out of the flashback right into Law vs. Doffy, and ended 768 with an injection shot. 769 had Law resume his relentless assault on Dofla, but the conclusion was, boy, you tried your best, but you're totally outclassed. Off with your arm. What followed was total abuse by Dof and Treb, and it ended with last week's Law stand, not in a physical way, but in an idealistic and moral way. Fuck you, doffy. Doffy goes berserk and can't control himself in his fury, and Law gets wasted bad. Great stuff.
Tsc, you ruined this chapter for me now :| Now 781 is just looking like a poor version of 780 (except for the last scene), congrats.

I consider them bullshit when they are hax and somewhat internaly incosistent.

I feel like just restoring the city is something that isn't really worth spending years of Mansherry's life on. It'll probably be fixed by her, but I feel like someone like Kyros might endorse the altered landscape as a badge of pride for their suffering. Oda also really likes the themes of coming together to heal and rebuild and having the princess just fix everything instantly doesn't seem like his style.

I see a few possibilities.
(1) Someone shows up to take down Trebol (inb4 Robin). I was hoping on Kinemon, but sounds like he isn't going to show up (unless his "isn't that unreasonable" is foreshadowing, but I assume it is just part of his "character"). If you think this, who do you think will show up? I doubt Sabo, since I bet he'll be clashing with Burgess (mostly off-panel).
(2) Luffy actually fights them both. He made Trebol look like a scrub this chapter, but then again it was a potshot; in an actual fight, maybe Trebol would be somewhat useful. Furthermore, as I said above, I don't think Luffy used haki to hit him (despite agreeing that colorless haki is a thing), so it may have even been intimidation. But, that being said… Doffy is ultra-hyped. If Luffy 1v2's Doffy, it'll be a big disappointment - it'd be cool, fight wise, but for the sake of consistency Doffy has to nearly beat Luffy by himself.
(3) Trebol gets taken out of the fight for some reason other than being in a fight with someone else. I am thinking two possibilities:
(A) Trebol was MAYBE condescending with the "You're a king, don't fall to your knees!" line, and it has been theorized for some time he is very, very significant. Maybe he'll actually stay out of the fight to test Doffy.
(B) Luffy is gonna jet bazooka his ass off the summit ASAP. I'd like that.
Watcha think will happen? Cause I can't see us ACTUALLY getting to the final fight without some panel time being given to Trebol being taken out first.
