Well I could have leave the forum for a couple of hours but this weather is killing me and I don't feel like stepping outside of my house because cool signature told me to. For your information this an open forum, whatever you post in here becomes OUR business, didn't you read the agreement page before singing up? I recommend you to start coding a new forum where you can create your own rules and make the understandable and well mannered guys join you. I bet they'll love it to have you as their ruler.

Looks like fire and smoke to me. As if his hand gear is designed to allow him to cause strong blasts upon impact. I don't need a conflicting translation to tell me what I'm looking at.

Unless you have a better explanation for what those explosion looking blasts are. I'm not unreasonable. If it makes sense, I'll consider it.

Also, how is a special fighting technique far fetched? That whole chapter you can see it was introductions and displays of special fighting techniques. The ideo thing, hasshoken, jeans special sniper fighting technique and Bobby's hard body which in it of itself is a "special fighting technique" (you can take or leave bobby if you want tho)

Also he wraps his hands because his stature and looks is that of a martial artist, elizabello is wearing boxing gloves as well just a different type. Speaking of which, so elizabello's attack is ok but ideo's is weird and has to be a weapon?

To finish shouldn't the shoulders seeing that they are weird be the reason to believe its a special fighting technique?

I haven't started reading One Piece yesterday, you know. I know which translations are good and which ones are not so good. Gats' lines conflict with what was drawn on panels. He says those just look like explosions. Ok, if it looks like an explosion, but it's not an explosion, what is it? The punch was launched from those strange looking shoulders. That's hardly a way to describe a punch technique. At least with Happou guys, it was explained they were using Hasshouken.

Ideo doesn't have a devil fruit, he was floating in the water just fine. It could be a special fighting technique, however frafetched. But then what's the purpose of that fiery backdraft coming out of his shoulder when he punches? What's the purpose of wrapping his fists with protective materials if it's his fighting technique? If I had to step back and look at it objectively, it makes more sense it's a special weapon. Because, aside from different weird abilities in One Piece, there are also different weird weapons, like dial inspired ones in Skypiea or Franky's Coup de Vent or even lasers. Luffy's fist needs to travel a little and accumulate friction in order to produce fire, Sanji needs to spin to heat his legs. Both require preparation.

If it weren't for those weird looking shoulders and the fact there's backdraft coming out of them when he throws a punch and Gats commenting the punch was launched from the shoulders, I'd probably think it's his skill too. Even if it would mean his punches are faster than Luffy's Gear 2nd ones.

You can still hear things, see (if you sleep with your eyes open, my brother one time did that), you can talk(I sometimes talk in my sleep), feel touch and move(One time my brother grabbed my arm while I was sleeping and I tried slapping him, while sleeping and thinking it was a dream), the movement normally is minimal unless if you sleepwalk in that case you can do pretty complex stuff while still sleeping. Basically you are totally conscious, but you don't have control. In around 45-50% of your sleep you can say that you don't have conscious awareness of your external environment(but you're conscious in your internal world :P).

There is a funny fact about sleeping, 20-25% of your time sleeping you're spending more energy than if you're were awake and in overall sleeping doesn't significantly reduces energy usage.
