Yeah that crossed my mind but the way it was presented seemed to allude to something else. Or maybe i'm off the ball here

RE: The One Piece Reread Discussion
Nice to discover such a thread. I was also reading op from the start, and at Luffys second encounter with Crocodile, there is a scene where Croco is grabbed by Luffy and asks himself "could he have?". Taking into consideration infromation about Croco we have now, could he have referred to the fact if Luffy was able to awaken his haki ability or am i looking to much into it? Chapter 199

RE: Chapter 815: Take Me With You!
What does it mean 'degosaru' in the last page? that should be a key to understand what's happening there.
It basically means it's a samurai, so he is going to report that they are onn zou

It's maybe a bit offtopic but how can you register for the viz subscription? Their site is a mess, i couldn't find how to do it besides the mobile apps.
Can someone link it?(and is it available in Croatia?) -
RE: Chapter 814: Let's go see Master Nekomamushi
zoro's angry because sanji could have stayed and didn't, and because his letter explained absolutely nothing and didn't even apologise for what he did, and because now instead of focusing on kaido with law and that samurai, they now have to make a detour against another yonkou while kaido is after their blood. Clearly sanji does have a good excuse for leaving-but he didn't give one, instead opting for a smart-ass letter. I don't see how either sanji or zoro comes off as totally right in this situation.
cause he had no fucking option then to leave. How can he stay if he got a ultimatum by big mom, come or i will come for you? What, he should have stayed at zou and make a funeral ceremony for his crew member's? The clash with big mom for himself is unavoidable as was explicitly stated that noone rejects mom's invitation.
His kicking the ass of big mom crew would accomplish nothing, there was no room for negotation it was:
Option 1: Reject invitatio, stay at island and fight with mom
2. Go away and leave the crew
the letter thing, yes he could have explained better but since he didn't talk about his past since now it would be awkward to put it down in a letter but that point is valid he maybe should have left a bit more info but if he spilled his problems he knows his crew will come after him(well this way maybe maybe they would leave him alone for the time being) -

I liked the realism Zoro portrayed though I agree he came off as harsh, but he seems to be the only person taking the New World serious, the rest of the crew members are still acting like there in paradise. I respected Zoro for saying what needs to be said, I do agree with you on that part with Robin leaving but the thing is it seems the Yonkou are more dangerous then the marines. And to add to that they have 2 Yonkou on there tail I think he was just speaking logical.

I'm going to focus more on the thread, I can rip the Sanji fans apart at a later time.
Lol
Had to say, sorry
@Low-fi:I really enjoyed this chapter simply for the discussion the crew was having about their next plan of action. It's something that doesn't happen enough since they spend most story arcs running and shouting from A to B. This relaxed pace has been really great to read and I've missed some of these crew interactions.
That said, I felt some of the characterisation of the Straw-Hats was slightly off this chapter. With regards to Sanji, it seemed that Chopper and Nami were the only ones genuinely concerned for him. Compare this to Robin's sudden disappearance back Water 7, a crewmate who then had only been with the Straw-Hats a short amount of time, and everyone's main priority was retrieving her, so much so that they'd risk war with the World Government to get her back. Fast-forward to Zou and the crew is slightly more cautious about how they should proceed. It struck me as odd that their first reaction wasn't to immediately go and get him back, especially that he's been a Straw-Hat since way back in East Blue.
Zoro definitely disappointed me this chapter, I'm aware that his role is to be the voice of reason and keep some perspective on matters, but I was sad that his reaction wasn't "the Cook will be fine" and more an all-out "Fuck that guy". I always thought that Zoro and Sanji had a mutual respect for one another but I think Zoro was definitely a little harsh. Is everyone just a little more confident now in their abilities post-timeskip? Do they trust Sanji can take care of himself?
Most likely yes, luffy stated few times already that he has confidence in his cremates, especially sanji and zoro. Zoro reactions was wrong, it totally seemed off from the rest of his conversations in the manga.

RE: Chapter 814: Let's go see Master Nekomamushi
The annual zoro vs sanji debate. How can we live without them.
By attack speed sanji easily rivals anyone in op. He throws like 100 kicks per seconds. Machie gun  -
RE: Chapter 814: Let's go see Master Nekomamushi
They have to jump out of his body first coming out of a lower gate from his chest and then run to you to surround you. It's not like you can't see them coming.

Well if they're were fighting back at that point, we would be going with the direction of them fighting to escape. Not rolling over like they did.
So basically you just want them to fight regardless of consequences? You could have said that from start, there is no need for a discussion then.

RE: Chapter 814: Let's go see Master Nekomamushi
There's other ways this could've played out. Like Chopper, Nami, and Brooke not getting caught so easily. They didn't even fight at all. But for plot purposes they got hit with idiot ball so they got captured in seconds and Sanji wouldn't have to protect everyone. But hey that's plot for you.
Even if they didnt get caught how would they escape from the island? Call Picard to beam them aboard the enterprise? Theirs ship is right next to big mom's so they have to fight to get away

RE: Chapter 814: Let's go see Master Nekomamushi
Not necessarily. If they leave Zou they have no reason to attack Zou. They are after Ceasar and Sanji. There's all kinda ways this could've played out. This isn't the first time that Swirlyhats have evaded Big Mom's ship.
To leave the island they would have to defeat the mom pirates. Sanji could do that but the chances that his crew would survive are slim, he can't defeat them alone and protecet everyone. There are minks who would have to get involved as well so that means that minks as well have challenged one of the emperors and would be in trouble now. SO what wil lsanji do leave them alone there and escape? Or clash with big mom, again alone and even if luffy comes it wont change much. There is no way he can leave the island and escape without causing too much turmoil for his crew or the minks. Sorry but i dont see any other way this could have played out.
