@kuma:
What's Robin ever done in the manga to say she stronger than brook or chopper for that matter.
Heh, funny that you mention Chopper and Brook.
Chopper includes her in the group of people capable to protect him if necessary.
!
While Brook doesn't cut it. No pun intended.

Slap in the face, kind of, if we consider that Brook ends up saving his furry ass. Terrible Chopper moment, but I guess this is also Oda's fault for turning Brook into a scaredy cat like Nami and Usopp.
But seriously, Robin was always portrayed as a strong woman. Without getting into any stupid monster trio debate - Oda usually portrayed her as a real force among the Straw Hats.
Alabasta:
Skypiea:
Enies Lobby:
Breaking Spandam's bones & subduing Iceburg wasn't a real feat, but I will let it slide because the arc is valuable when it comes to other, much more important aspects of her character.
Thriller Bark:
- Again, included in the monster group. [Great contrast shown between Nami / Usopp / Chopper](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/444 - Adventure on the Ghost Island/One_Piece-v46-082.png) and [Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Franky & Robin](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/446 - Doctor Hogback/One_Piece-v46-124.png) due to the Cerberus & Zombie scenes.
- Couldn't do anything against Zoro & Sanji's zombies. But that's the point, her main ability was useless against extremely strong bodies that can't feel pain and are pretty much untouchable. Still Oda made clear that even if she can't utilize her ability to the fullest, [she is still dangerous.](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/468 - Pirate Chopper VS Mysterious Hogback/One_Piece-v48-168.png)
- Nearly oneshots Moriah by breaking his neck. Alright, the Kage Kage fruit is part of his moveset, part of the reason why he was a feared Shichibukai and it shouldn't be used as an excuse for Robin's failure. But the point is that Robin could do exactly that to most characters, and Oda needs to find a way around that (coughlike her opponent being slimycough)
Saobody
- Her fruit can't just overpower the Pacifista, but she is still able to [inflict major damage through clever use of her devil fruit](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/510 - Straw Hat Crew VS Combat Weapon/One_Piece-v52-162.png). Sounds familiar?
Amazon Lily, Impel Down, war of the best
Fishman Island
- Nobody cares. She got Hammond and defeated her opponent effortlessly. Just like everyone else during the arc.
Punk Hazard
- Again grouped with the unquestioned monsters of the crew, Luffy & Zoro. [Rapeface included.](http://www.onepiecebay.net/manga/mangas/One Piece/661 - The Lake of Bandits/11.jpg) I'm not saying that she is comparable to Luffy in any way, shape or form, but she is again portrayed as a scary monster.
- Got backstabbed by Monet, her spunk move didn't do any damage, interrupted by Tashigi & Zoro. Who knows what would have happened if she would have been the only one in the room…forced to take care of herself instead of leaving it to Zoro's haki.
So yeah, it's been a while, but lets not act like there is absolutely no basis for a good, challenging fight against an officer. Especially if we consider that Nami & Usopp, the weakest members of the crew, got exactly that in Paradise against 2 Shichibukai already.
