eh!..i take the literal meaning…king of manga being a manga..so when he mockingly said 'all hail the king of manga' i took it as reference to Naruto,not Kishi....
It could really be either, I twisted his words anyway for amusement. If I were to call an author the "king of books", 'king' is a title that mostly conjures up images of a person in a high authority position, so it'd still make sense. Though you can, of course, use 'king' sometimes to refer to objects instead of people. King of authors, king of books. Either one works.

You know, despite all the shittyness of this chapter, I just realized this might be a quite cool setup:
-madara starts to control oro with sharingan, thus controlling three of the four kage
-there would now be actual SUSPENSE because that deus ex machina ET kage bs is gone
-nardo vs his dad in kyubi mode, shikamaru and his team vs the third (family ties etc), maybe being joined by lee and the other rookies
-1st vs madara and controlled 2nd, more or less offscreen besides hilarious faces
-sasuke and his team and sakura and the rest vs the juubi -
Bleach is getting better, Naruto is just getting more and more ridiculous. I'm looking forward to seeing just how much further Naruto will continue to sink into stupidity at this point.

I have to admit, seeing Team 7 united again at the end of the Naruto chapter was kind of cool, despite the wonky circumstances.

What's going on with Yamato?
He was used by Kabuto and his purpose in the war was to copy Hashriama's abilities to produce/supply white Zetsu clones.
Kabuto (who kidnapped him and suspended him in the first place) is knocked out/dead/whatever.
Zetsu can no longer battle/Army dissolved.
Hashirama appearing on the battlefield also counteracts everything Yamato was forced to do in this war.
I really think Kishimoto forgot about him. Not that I mind.

I cannot believe that Kishi could screw up an opportunity like that. I understand that it's war time, but it's so underwhelming. Naruto and his father reunited? No big deal.
Madara and Harshirama, such enemies reunited after decades … and all we get is a horny Madara and Hashirama just brushes him off for a while in a too playful way. "Oh, Madara you! Oooh!" There should've been impact there.
The nine tails ... the fuck happened to him, really. He used to be ominous, especially in the anime with that dark voice of his. Now he looks like a kitten, marveling at Minato ...
Sasuke and Naruto reunited. Again, where is the OMG here? Any animosity is brushed off here. Too casual. And Sakura is still saying -kun at the end of his name. The dude almost killed you. Ino too. Stupid people.
And at the very least I'd expected a good double spread or just one page of team seven. Properly drawn and all. But no, we get a small panel.
ehh ... I'd rather go back to Kakashi and Obito now.
Also, how did Minato turn on biju mode? I thought a biju is required for that.

Bleach: I'll have to reread the few last chapters. I don't understand what Ichigo did, and why he did it so quickly. I remember those black figures are supposed to be swords, but from there I'm blank as to why Ichigo just chose one.

I was bearing Naruto after the Pein arc because I wanted to see how Kishi will end the manga … but this! I just can't accept how can an author distroy what he built up for years (from the beginning of part 2) to just leave this bad taste in my mouth in one chapter. I would imagine that Kishi would assemble Team 7 again just like the Sanin team but that's after the whole Naruto saving Sasuke that I was looking forward to (well hoping Kishi will write)! I mean in this chapter Kishi totally distroyed the chance of Naruto ever being the one that saved Sasuke. Instead it's the First HOKAGE that did the saving .. HOW LAME!!!!!!!!!

So I heard about what happened in Naruto recently.
Am I darn glad I jumped out of this manga. So. Darn. Glad.
it's just. So darn horrific right now.
Really. It's just like a clusterfudge of random horribad ideas crammed together one after the other with no good explanations and just pure horrificness everywhere.
Why is this thing still going?
I mean Naruto and Bleach are basically the decaying carriage being dragged by two weeping horses (weeping that they have to carry such terribad things).I think the only good thing for these is this.

I have to say that Bleach is at least keeping it interesting this last weeks. Good to see that more characters are doing something for a change, and at least this last bad guy have a direct connection with Ichigo (being him the main reason that Ichigo`s mother died). For once he has a bigger reason than "protect my friends", and for a last fight that could make for a more dramatic end.
Naruto in the other hand is just plain uninspired, Sasuke wanting to be Hokage… that shit son is insane. The only redemption for that character at this point, is for him to die a martir. If he`s not put in prison or judge or anything, that would make for a horrible ending for the series.

Naruto: I didn't expect this twist, and while I can see the complete stupidty of it. I confess that ending the series with Naruto fighting his biggest rival over the title of Hokage seems a fitting end, he has to overcome Sasuke to achieve his dream. That in my mind seems better then Naruto beating Obito/Madara and just becoming Hokage. So I am interested, if any to see what happens.
