Capriles is running. I don't know what to feel, I want to feel hope, I want him to win, to defeat the shadows of the populism that plague my country, to make the laws both protect the workers and the work, not just the lazy, to build up an economy, a new generation of hard working people, to plant the oil, to make a road to tomorrow.
But I feel like he's just going to crash and burn, and build up the candidacy for the next time for Leopoldo Lopez, or whomever manages to rise from the MUD.
(MUD as in Mesa de Unidad Democratica, Democratic Unity Table, but the comparation to the substance sometimes is uncany)
Anyways, there's a date for the elections, I'm buying my ticket for the date to vote in my state. It's around my birthday. April 12, the only day that Venezuela woke up without Chavez in the power. (We actualy don't know what happened that day, if it was a straight up-coup, or if chavez just ran away with the tail between his legs, or it was all part of his plans to see who were loyal to him)
You have to buy a ticket to vote? o__0
