@TheGreatestSwordsman:
All is fair. I do however wonder why people think that Smoker can 1-hit KO fighters. Ok, a hit with his sea stone will probably hurt a hell of a lot, but a KO? I don't believe that. Swinging it and hitting someone unless they are weak, it seems a little too overpowered to KO instantly, after all it's not a seastone sword, only the end is part of the seastone. The only way that Smoker would be able to KO him for me is if he pushed his weapon on their face after they were already on the ground or next to a heavy object, and we saw what happened in that situation already.

He can teleport. I didn't know what Law could do but when he showed the Counter Hazard technique (on top of the ridiculous sum of other techniques), I realized that the power level between the two was pretty massive. His powers are so strong that currently the only ways to beat him is either being considerably faster than him, having a much stronger haki (he's already confirmed to have ridiculous haki after crushing Vergo)- or a combination of the two, which is why I think only Doflamingo from Dressrosa is capable of beating him and likely to be the one to do it if Luffy is going to beat DD.
I don't see what Smoker can do to Law tbh.
Regarding Vergo, you say if he fought smarter something else could have happened. To me, Vergo was already fighting smart the entire fight using Law's heart to win the match. The fact that he couldn't hit him once when Law got his heart back and every hit shown in the manga was due to him using his heart (holding it, moment that Law attempting to put it in his body), I just have a hard time believing they are anywhere near the same level, but again opinions :S. Personally, I think people would be singing a different tune if Luffy was in Law's place and he would have 1-shotted him. It could be that Vergo underestimated Law but he still went ahead to hit and Law hit him first.

Law goes ahead of him when he hits him. Vergo is about to hit him with his weapon, Law turns out to be the faster of the two when they go at each other. You're likely right that Vergo could have been overconfident along with DD that Law can't cut him, but that doesn't explain why Law outpaced him in the first place and cut him before he got hit himself. To me, this is one fighter beating the other.

I think i see your misunderstanding. I didnt use one hit KO in my text but what i did use was a swift victory, there's a slight difference. from what we've seen of sea stone and df users, once it is touching the df user their powers cant be actively used on top of also weakening the user; this is shown many times with seastone handcuffs, chains, and once when luffy was touching a seastone cell in alabasta. with that information, and as you've also said, if smoker was able to use the tip of the jutte on law to pin him as he has done with luffy before. You post the page of law escaping from this but it is also the same page were smoker grabbed law by the throat and threw him to the ground before he teleported. so its shown that smoker is quite fast (as well as is law) and if that had been the jutte and not smoker's hand the fight could have ended right there. the jutte to laws neck would pin him, and render smoker the victor (swift one hit victory but no KO).
Also, i dont think you should judge smoker's level/abilities just as yet. While law's df is pretty spectacular, i dont think we've seen the extent of smoker's. Unlike other logias, smoke isnt really destructive when compared to ice, gas, magma, light (lasers), fire, lightning or any others i might be missing. But this is One piece and even though smoke doesnt seem that dangerous, we have our main character who uses rubber. rubber isnt that amazing either, but with this oda has invented gear 2 and gear 3 which has made and given rubber an amazing driving force for its own destructive capabilities (a la elephant gatling).
law vs. vergo fight, to note, remember that law doesnt have to physically touch you to slice you in his room (showed when he sliced the ship and the g5 men). With that said, both vergo and law were "charging up" before the swing. vergo rushed in and because law doesnt have to move from his spot to slice you he could have started his swing earlier, cutting vergo before giving him a chance to attack and by the time vergo got close momentum sprung him forward. this is conjecture (the latter part) of course but because this is also a possible scenario we cant say law outpaced vergo with 100% validity.
the fighting smart part i was referring solely to law vs vergo part 3. as i said, vergo thought his suit of armor would protect him so there was no need to evade the attack (this reminds me of luffy vs lucci, at the end instead of evading, lucci used tekkai and luffy broke through it. this is a different fight with different precursors but at that last moment if lucci had evaded luffy's attack lucci would have won as luffy was physically drained after that last attack). Also, we see that in law vs. vergo part 2 counter shock didnt do much to vergo, and law was also the one to point it out. We also see that vergo was fast enough to traverse the same space and got there at the exact time that law teleported his heart to him.
As i said above, law's power is very spectacular. It has an almost 100% chance of ending fights if he catches you off guard or overpowers you with ONE hit, unlike some of the other people we've seen. With two such cases, 1st against smoker, he caught him off guard and took his heart. I explained my feelings on the matter that it was a first hit winner ordeal but none the less a pretty swift victory and 2nd against vergo, the fight was one slash, it ended quicker than smoker's but this was a reckless charge, there was no opportunity after for vergo to hit law, if vergo had acted smarter the outcome could have been severely different.
sn: i think haki might need some more explanation. If CoA is like some of the properties of nen from Hunter x Hunter; ten and ren it would give it some nice applications.
