Reason for which, he is suffering when he tries to speak, like if someone had read his mind/ideas/intentions with Luffy. + His crew's flag looks like Bellami's & Doflas as for the ads bars that WB used to have on his serums

They maybe, used to be nakamas and had a captain, then like Roger and co, he died and they got split in two gangs, with almost the same flag includin minor modifications (est/coast)

Great chapter. Glad to see Caesar isn't gonna be an underwhelming opponent and is actually able to take down Luffy. I've been getting worried that Luffy has become way too overpowered to enjoy his fights anymore.

As for the identity of the unknown guy, I'm gonna say it's either Joker, Vegapunk, or some new character. I really don't get how some of you are getting people like Kizaru, Aokiji, Kaido, or Doflamingo. Oh well, I'll buy those users pizza if they turn out to be right.

Couple of thoughts:

Monet looked genuinely worried until the last page. She could be worried about law and then intrigued by the person who appears, she could be being controlled or this could have all been planned.

At this point it seems like monet has a double agent thing going on, unless the person is joker.. Still though, if that is joker and cc has no idea he is there then cc is being betrayed by him.

How bout that being kaido? Why not let the guy who's interested in technology personally go to punk hazard and check things out?

Law already confirmed a connection to Joker when he told Caeser not to tell Joker that he was on the island. The fact that Law told Caeser to keep things quiet from Joker makes the way the two met at the end of the chapter more understandable. It's Joker surely (whether it be a nickname for someone we already know or not… or just a name lol). And if Joker is connected to G-5 then the marine-like shoes make more sense.

Definately not Kaidou. I can't imagine a Yonkou ever wandering around alone unless it's very neccesary. Plus it's been said that they all reside at the latter part of the NW.

Hello guys ,i have been reading arlong park forum for the last 2 years but i ve never become a member..2days episode nearly forced me 2 do it.
First of all, FUCKING AWESOME CHAPTER..can't wait 4 the next 1
Now,as for the clues we have i am pretty damn sure the mysterious guy is Dr. Vegapunk..Why?

1. It resembles a lot to the picture of a previous manga chapter + the tecnological background in the last scene suits perfect 4 him.(okay that's something a lot of you mentioned before)

2. It's sure PUNK HAZARD..VegaPUNK Hazard..

3. Vegapunk must have somehow realised the secret plan of CC and came to the island to stop CC from repeating the same crimes of the past.
   After all the incident with CC and the slime must have put a stain to Vegapunk reputation too.

4. How Vegapunk realised what's going on the island? 2 Theories of mine.. a) Law's has something to do with this (maybe somekind of connection with the mystery guy,the same kind that forced Law to lay down)
   b) Vegapunk realised his dragon was killed and thougth someone seriously strong is in the island. (according to me Vegapunk is not only a scientist but also a wanderer ,like shicibukais are, on a quest to support government plans )
   c) Vegapunk had left some kind of stealth monitoring equipment (or the door zoro destroyed had some kind of alarm) in the island and come to the rescue to stop CC plans and protect some secret weapon(?)
   d) MAYBE HARPIE IS A DOUBLE AGENT(could explain her calm reaction to mysterious guy appearance) THAT INFORMED VEGAPUNK OF CC AND LAW ACTIONS OR OF LUFFIES ARRIVAL WHEN USOPP FIRST SAW HER.(after zoro killed the dragon)

5)Something i was always curious since the Marineford war was the ship Law used.All the pirates have some kind of caravel
LAW HAS A SUBMARINE!! FOR GOD SAKE HE MUST HAVE BEEN AT LEAST 100 YEARS IN FRONT IN TERMS OF FUTURISTIC EQUIPMENT!! (100 years u say??!??!hmm where have we heard it ,where?)
Law must have some kind of connection to science apart of him being a doctor!!

So that was my leads towards VEGAPUNK THEORY so far.
HYPOTHESIS
I guess the same thing Law wants to get in order to eliminate one of the four emperors and cause chaos in the NW is some kind of technology Vegapunk developed when Law was one of his student's? co-workers? underlinks?
If i am right this technological something may affects Kaidou.It's even possible for Law to have a connection with Kaidou and Vegapunk alltogether. I mean Kaidou isnt also a cyborg? Everyone who has even a slite connection to robot has also
been close or aware to Vegapunk's plans.(KAIDOU,LAW,FRANKIE,KUMA).Devil fruits secrets may also been a case.THE ONLY THING WE SURELY KNOW IS THAT THE MYSTERIOYS GUY APPEARED JUST THE TIME LAW WAS READY TO GET WHAT HE WANTED OF THE ISLAND FOR SO LONG.

Monet sure has an ambiguous allegiance. She seems to be working directly under Ceasar, but she still accepted to help Law although she kinda seems to know that he's plotting something against him. Furthermore, I don't think she was the one attacking Law on the last page, she appeared to be shocked when he collapsed… but then her eye becomes dark and she starts giggling on her last panel...perhaps she's about to about the mystery man? What's that powerful ability anyway of hers anyway? I'm really tempted to support her in the tournament now... Damn so much anticipation, it's as if Oda's purposely taking breaks after exciting chapters just to raise people's hype.

I know it seems a little far fetched, but I have to agree with the people who are saying Kuzon. He could have stayed on PH after the big showdown, and could be responsible (but probably not) for the frozen prisoners. And I believe someone a few pages ago posted a picture of him, and his shoes and the shoes from the last page look quite similar. Plus the dude has long, skinny legs, and we all know what Kuzon looks like. But just a guess.

There's no way it's Vegapunk. They would just spend several pages in the earlier chapters outlining how Vegapunk and Caesar Clown don't get along only to should them teamed up. Also why would Caesar be after Franky's laser if he's working with Vegapunk. It's not him. Given all the information revealed about Vegapunk so far, I really doubt Oda would introduce him as an enemy.

I thought Aokiji from appearance, but Aokiji has never been sinister… so I doubt it.

So, the only reasonable candidates are:

• Someone new.

• Joker (There is literally no real information about this Joker character, so for all practical purposes it falls into the "someone new" category)

• Kaido: I'd actually forgotten about this guy, but when someone mentioned him I looked him up, and other than a barely visible silhouette of his head there is no information about his appearance. Additionally one of his affiliates was a Cyborg... so maybe he's a sciencey-type character which could be a possible connection with Caesar.

I think its going to be like VVD and Hody. When Dekken was first seen we thought he would be main bad guy but turned out to the comic relief while someone behind him, Hody, is the real danger. With 671 seems like the possiblity here, CC the comic relief - but far more dangerous than VVD- and this mysterious fellow may be the real threat.

That or he's he just fro law and doesn't encounter the Strawhats …. nah, seems the first is more likely than that

the chapter was great I think the guy at the end judging for the silhouette and the coat is either vegapunk or Joker, I am totally sure that Aokiji is not the shadow, I mean, he doesn't even fit at the current circumstances at all, besides the shadow looks like a scientist, as for the fight it was pretty cool, Luffy was clearly dominating the fight until this thing happened, I wonder if Luffy going K.O. is CC's doings or the guy's at the end doings, there is no manga next week…...I think if we were able to endure 1 month break (Luffy's and CO's training) we will be able to endure this week, but......DAMN CLIFFHANGER XP

Monet seems like and agent of some sorts. For whom is anyone's guess. Could be for the mystery man in the last panel or could be any number of shadow organizations in One Piece.

At any rate it seems like she's already familiar with the mystery man–unless she's just a psycho and gets a kick out of seeing Law crawl on the floor.

Between the Mangateers and MangaPanda scanslations, I found Mangateers to be the better one though they both have their flaws. MangaPanda translated the Brook/Zoro/Sanji segment better and translated a better approximation of CC's second attack name, but seemed more spotty overall.

Almost died laughing at the Luffy vs CC fight. The panels and facial expressions were just hilarious.

What a nice chapter! Only in One Piece can something so serious as inhaling toxic gas can be turned into something comical!

-Love Sanji! The people of Wano are going to treat him with respect I can tell. For one he is aiding a Samurai in saving his son without any regard to himself and he's a pervert. The citizens of Wano are going to love him. He and Zoro are going to have some interesting development there I bet.

-Luffy holding Smoker's arm and Caeser's waist clarifies a lot of things. I should have know it was possible but it's good to be concrete about it. I hate to even think about it, but what part of the Logia would count as the body and what would not? Does that make sense? If Ceaser turned into a big cloud the size of a building, could Luffy grab or strike him anywhere?

-Love seeing Franky marvel at Luffy's abilities. We've seen that with Zoro once, but for a moment I thought it was Nami in Franky saying all that. The barrel reference was hilarious. Certainly Franky would want to gain the use of Haki for himself, but if he incorporated sea stone into his arsenal that would really set him apart from the Monster Trio.

-It was clear since Fishman Island Robin knew what the different types of Haki were. According to Luffy she isn't capable of using Haki, at least not Armament Haki, but I bet during her 2 years of training she sought out the secrets to handling DF users from Dragon and the other revolutionaries.

-Chopper hiding in that little bad is too cute. I suppose he's rested enough to move now, I thought it was 3 hours of recovery though? Well who cares? Why am I more excited about Chopper inside Vegapunks former laboratory alone than anything else?

-Monet has an ability… I would say she has some type of defensive ability that allows her to survive really harsh conditions. Some kind shields if you will. If only so she can survive in outer space with nothing. Yet that means nothing since Eneru and all the winged people seemed to have did just fine on the moon without any extra protection.

-As for the mystery man I'm going to say it's the guy who talked with Doflamingo about Moriah after the war. Who I believe is Joker. Seems in both instances they were involved with news papers getting the wrong headlines. Either him or Vegapunk. Please please please please show us Vegapunk soon Oda! I wan't to know what DF really are!

I'll say this bluntly: if Oda can make this shadowy figure be Aokiji and making sense out of it, he'll be the godest of gods. Because, seriously, it makes no sense. As simple as that.

The behaviour from just 3 or 4 lines are completely out of character for Aokiji. Aokiji has no lasting relationship with Law. Fuck, during the war, Law was 10000000000000 times more fascinated with Luffy's fucking straw hat than Aokiji! Law looked freaking traumatized to see this figure. He's freaking scared. You think he would've gone to the war to face him only to save Luffy if he was damned terrified of him? They clearly didn't know each other, and that also makes a relationship from long ago, from when Law was younger, completely impossible and implausible.

All there is to it is. . .the shoes look similar? I think logic is 99.999999999999999% against it being Aokiji.

Him being Aokiji is simply put, bullshit. And if Oda reveals it is him, I'll say it's bullshit and Oda jumped the fucking shark. If he then makes it work via some contrived plot points, I'll still say it's bullshit. If he makes sense out of it, then, as I said, I'll consider him a god. But it's almost 100% impossible. It would be Bleach level of asspulledly bad.

This would actually explain everything.

Brownbeard mentioned that a Tenryūbito had visited the island, and had named the dragon. It's more than likely that this Tenryūbito is in cahoots with CC, which makes it plausible that this same Tenryūbito IS Joker. It would certainly explain why Joker has so much sway over the WG.

Now, let's consider Law's actions. He has aided Luffy for no apparent reason, saving him from certain death at Marineford and now forming an alliance with him on PH. When Luffy thanks Law for his help, Law brushes it off as if it was nothing, and I think he may have a reason for doing so. Law witnessed Luffy punching out a Tenryūbito on Sabaody, and if Law really IS a former slave, he would feel a sense of admiration for his fellow pirate captain, spurring him on to save Luffy at Marineford. The reason he brushed it off later, is because he's ashamed of his past as a slave, just like Hancock.

Law knew about Joker before coming to PH, and if Joker is a Tenryūbito, Law would know about that as well. Considering his past as a slave, it makes perfect sense that Law asks CC NOT to tell Joker about his presence on the island, and it also explains why Law can't draw attention to himself by fighting CC. Now, if we look at Law's reaction to hearing Bepo's name, it becomes plausible that Law's crew (assuming that they are former slaves as well) have been reclaimed by the Tenryūbito, perhaps even by Joker. This would give Law even MORE reason to stay in the shadows, knowing that his crew's fate rests in the balance.

Until oda explicitly states that she is a zoan were gonna go by the hints that are given. In the flashback, Monet is a regular human aroun pd the time law first arrives. Presently, she is constantly in in that form. Think about this logically, if she were a zoan wouldnt she change back to enter information into her notebook like she did in the flashback?

Odds are she is fascinated with harpies and asked law to change her into one OR something happened to her body that forced her to ask law.

Anyways, I'm thinking that this person is definetly a part of the marines and not only that… This marine has access to all the hearts law gave to the marines. Now this is where my theory goes off a little, I have a feeling that law gave his own heart to the marines (maybe by force) and maybe replaced it with another who knows. The marines might be conducting experiments with the hearts or just using them for blackmail anyways now this mysterious person has laws heart in his pocket as he approaches law.

I'm not to sure about this because logically I'm not sure of the reaction a person would have if, say, theyre getting their heart squeezed and if it would coincide with how law reacted.

Not bad, but you kind of automatically made Kaidou Law's target. That's still a question (although we can rule Shanks out or Luffy wouldn't have agreed).

But you're right in pointing out Law's connection to science being the "Dark Doctor". He managed to save Luffy from within inch of death (which is where he probably formed some sort of a connection to Luffy since he fell when Luffy did). Being a former student of Vegapunk, don't know about that but a decent theory.

What convinced me the most about your idea of Vegapunk being the myserious man is the fact that Punk Hazard has Punk in it lol. Could be a hint that Vegapunk will be introduced. But I still think it's Joker if they aren't the same person.

I was only being half serious when I said it buy hey, it would be a crazy. Do we know if CC has ever seen the Joker? If he has then Joker=Vegapunk would not be the case.

Brownbeard mentioned that a Tenryūbito had visited the island, and had named the dragon. It's more than likely that this Tenryūbito is in cahoots with CC, which makes it plausible that this same Tenryūbito IS Joker. It would certainly explain why Joker has so much sway over the WG.

Now, let's consider Law's actions. He has aided Luffy for no apparent reason, saving him from certain death at Marineford and now forming an alliance with him on PH. When Luffy thanks Law for his help, Law brushes it off as if it was nothing, and I think he may have a reason for doing so. Law witnessed Luffy punching out a Tenryūbito on Sabaody, and if Law really IS a former slave, he would feel a sense of admiration for his fellow pirate captain, spurring him on to save Luffy at Marineford. The reason he brushed it off later, is because he's ashamed of his past as a slave, just like Hancock.

Law knew about Joker before coming to PH, and if Joker is a Tenryūbito, Law would know about that as well. Considering his past as a slave, it makes perfect sense that Law asks CC NOT to tell Joker about his presence on the island, and it also explains why Law can't draw attention to himself by fighting CC. Now, if we look at Law's reaction to hearing Bepo's name, it becomes plausible that Law's crew (assuming that they are former slaves as well) have been reclaimed by the Tenryūbito, perhaps even by Joker. This would give Law even MORE reason to stay in the shadows, knowing that his crew's fate rests in the balance.

On top of that, remember Law's comment that CC's cruelty "reminded him of someone?" The Tenryubito are famous for their cruelty, so he might be remembering his former slave owner.

The biggest drawback to this is that the silhouette is clearly not wearing standard Tenryubito space-suit-gear, so its unlikely that this character is himself a world noble. However, "Joker" could be someone explicitly working under Law's former slave master instead, possibly as a mengele-style human scientist using purchased slaves for human experimentation.

In fact, come to think of it, the "Reminds me of someone" line came after CC explained the purpose of the candy, so it could be that "Joker" did something similar to his former slaves to prevent them from escaping, and has just now activated it on Law now that he's found him again, thus leaving Law crippled on the floor at his feet.

I have a theory that Law may be working for this person in the silhouette. Law's job is to collect hearts for this person in order to enable them to expand control over numerous people. This is why I think Law sent 100 hearts to the marines.
To signal he would be a candidate for Shichibukai.
To give this person more hearts in exchange for living. (I think this person has Law's heart)
That is also why he gained Smoker's heart in order to fulfil the "quota" set by this person.

Concerning why Law is so afraid of this person and how this guy got Law's heart? (Crazy theory number 2)
This guy is Vegapunk not Joker! He is a doctor and was formerly Law's mentor. In order to teach him Vegapunk demanded payment which was Law's heart and that Law would work for him in the future. The Shichibukai position mean's that Law can get close to Vegapunk easily to learn. The reason Law is going after a Yonkou is because that is who Vegapunk wants next. This is all just a crazy theory although I think that at least some of it is true.
