There are no umibouzu. Umibouzu are just monsters from japanese folklore. When the SH crew was sailing to FI, they found Wadatsumi and thought that gigantic undersea guy was a umibouzu, but later Wadatsumi was revealed as just another fishman. He's not from a "new" race.
I wouldn't be surprised if San Juan Wolf is revealed to be a fishman or wotan or gigantic stature, thought… (most probably a wotan, since Oda did introduce the possibility of fishmen and giants having children, I expect some important wotan character to appear sooner or later)

Shanks recruited Yassop 22 years ago, yet usopp is 19. Does that mean Yassop returned to syrup village 3 years later? How frequently did he return to the village before leaving for good? I'm assuming that was around the time Shanks stopped coming to Fusha, before Usopps mom died.

Right now one of the more common theories is that Sanjaun is really old and that Impel Down was built around him, and Blackbeard just used his power to get him out.
Considering the vast amount of situations such as Shirohoshi hiding inside of Megalo's mouth, my guess is that this is a topic that will never be addressed unless it's done so as a joke. If people are really bothered by it, though, then just realize that we've already seen SEVERAL fruit abilities that could slip someone past a wall (like how it's suggested that Blackbeard did to get him out).

No. It's already been said that a "war that will engulf the world" will be triggered after One Piece is finally found, so I doubt that would be the case.
Of course, it's also possible that One Piece will be destroyed to prevent such a large-scale event, or some other major, defining blow is dealt to manage the situation at hand.
However, whatever the case, jumping to conclusions like this is quite too early to retain a precise amount of accuracy, so I guess we can't be so sure about what will truly happen in the last chapters of One Piece until we actually get there. Still, honestly, I believe OP will not end right after Luffy finds One Piece and becomes Pirate King, (if he accomplishes either of those in the first place, that is), but that's merely my own speculative opinion of the matter.

The only official spelling of his name we have so far is ホーディ・ジョーンズ so, until we get a wanted poster, a mention in a databook, or background letters, people can romanize his name however they want. Hodi, Hordi, Hordy, Hody etc. It would be a nice hint to know if was based on a real pirate's name.

Actually I remember Oda mentioning in a SBS that Arabasta was based on Egypt somehow. Also the "Konafa" which is mentioned at the end of Arabasta Arc is an actual arabic sweet. And considering the name and that the stereotype of arab countries in hollywood is that they have nothing but sand and camels, I'd say that arabasta is an arab country :ninja:
