What I find funny about the Uncharted series so far; Is the 1st one was mocked for being unoriginal and other crap, Yet the second is hailed a landmark game which apparently does everything better than anyone else. Kinda hypocritical in my opinion.

Naughty Dog has been known for being [what people may call] "unoriginal", actually; it's just that any lesser developer would pale in comparison to the amount of talent and skill that ND implements into their games, since they're capable of shaping the ideas they took from other games into something so polished and fun to play that all you're really left with is respect for what they've done, rather than feeling like you're playing a ripoff of another great game that has been introduced into the mainstream video game media.

Concerning what the critics have said, though, I don't think I've even witnessed anyone majorly criticize Uncharted for being unoriginal, to be honest; most of the criticism stemmed from cover, graphical, and enemy wave issues, if I recall correctly, but it probably depends on who you're referring to. Also, the main reason UC2 is praised isn't because of its originality or innovation (leave it to the EAD to surprise us with something like that…those talented, professional bastards...) anyway, but rather, its immersive, cinematic experience and almost flawless pacing. But hey, whatever a person prefers or believes is respectively their right, and I shall not try to provoke that..

My personal favorite post-timeskip episode would still have to go to 517, but this was pretty fair as well, I guess. The art, animation, and overall atmosphere of Brook's concert scene was peculiarly spectacular, though, that's for certain. I'd probably go as far as to say that that was the primary highlight of the episode in general as well, tbh.

Overall, though decent chapter at best, imo. That Sea Bear looked pretty freaked out at the end of that panel, though; looks like Hodi's gonna get some enhancements in the next several chapters, eh?

I didn't catch it the first time, but as others already said Big Mam's Candy Factory was demolished! At first I thought Daruma was making a message in the walls, then I couldnt't figure out why he was traveling like Bugs Bunny. Then I noticed the actual factory falling down. Pretty cool the way Oda passively mentiones Big Mam at the beginning and then doesn't even mention exactly why Durama is doing what he is doing. I suppose to be completely human free Fish Man Island can not be protected by one. Yeah this arc is going to last a while.

Indeed, I actually didn't notice that either until you just pointed it out as well.

Looks like this arc is set up to becoming very intensified…

Johnny and Yosaku will come back to the story and they'll both have DF abilities. Johnny will have the power of the Troll Troll no mi, giving him the powers of Aizen. And Yosaku will have the power of the Dub Dub no mi Model: 4kids which allows him to ruin everything. Truly they will be valiant editions to the Strawhat crew.

Those are some pretty h4x DF's, if you ask me.

I don't think they actually saw her, but just heard numerous rumors that expressed her extensive beauty, if I recall correctly…but then again, making a statement like that without actually using a scan as evidence is a little far-fetched, so I might be wrong.
