Tbh, pretty sure Arlong isn't strong enough to be a warlord. Also, saying Jimbei is the first fishmAn warlord is like saying Obama is the first black US president. Doesn't mean anything really, except that there wasn't anyone before them.

Oh come on, why are people getting so defensive here. Just because someone said to get out more?

RE: Smoker vs. Benn Beckman
@The:
I will never understand all the "BECKMAN SAYS FREEZE!!!" Campaigns
literally the next thing that happened after that scene was Kizaru raining death lasers from above, and Beckman going "….....Welll shit, guess I was completely useless"
easy Smoker vote.
lol, this actually made me want to vote for Benn instead….dammit

RE: Berserk
Indeed, i finished reading through in december and started to get a little panicky there. But your comments were comforting. When he plans to wrap it up in approximetly 10 years there's nothing to worry about.
Hope the next chapter is out soon. -
RE: Berserk
I just wondered if Kentaro Miura thinks he's immortal or something. Not trying to be offensive here. It's a real Masterpiece, but i just thought about if the series will ever end. From my perspective, the series is quite far from ending and if he releases chapters at this pace, he might not be able to finish it properly.
Miura is 45 years old right now (going to be 46) and when we're VERY optimistic he will release chapters every 3 months. So about 4 chapters a year. Providing that he won't ever get any diseases from old age and will continue this series until he's 85, it gives us 160 chapters to go.
But that's all highly optimistic and still the number of chapters doesn't sound enough imo. And if i'm informed correctly he's working on the tv series right now and has/will have even lesser time for the manga. I'm just really concerned about the series getting the ending it deserves. What do you guys think about it?

RE: Chapter 620: "The Theme Park We Dreamed Of" Discussion
I don't want to get into one either, but as Christian, I feel like I must tell the truth. I apologize for making it seem like I am starting a religious discussion in this thread, but I do not believe I am wrong in saying that Jesus is alive and is God.
Anyway, I don't mind flashbacks, even though I'm not a big fan of them. It's always good to dwell into the past to find out why certain things are the way they are now. As long as it doesn't drag on for too long, I'm cool with that.
do you really have to say, it's the truth…:getlost:

RE: World Government Corruption?
i just want to throw in another point of discussion: "nulla Poena sine lege" (no punishment without a law)
One of the most obvious basic rights for an at least half way credible legal-system.
The world-governement in this case doesn't has it or else Tom didn't had to go into prison.

RE: Most Disappointing Thing in One Piece

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
lol, read before responding isn't that bad either. Also for the majority saying the new guy is arlong backed up with fanfiction and a crooked vision, is okay then?
