Google's is lame.
Battle.net's is LOL.
…shit, I forgot to check Type-Moon's site this year. >_<
Deviantart went nuts today. :P I am on the GaGa team btw. How about you? ;)
Kinda funny. Dutch Comedy Central announced the new program 'The Real South Park'. A real life parody of South Park.

IGN had the trailer for the "Halo Movie"
haha

I was wondering about that, thought somebody hacked my profile. Anyway, I'm Team Edward .
And not sure if it's an April Fools joke, though it probably is, go to XKCD.com. They changed their layout to a DOS-like interface.

Oh, hi Greg.
Anyway, today I visited three sites that announced they had closed their site but hadn't.
And I fell for the first two, ugh.

I'm sad this is just a joke. Also, you're allowed to say "fuck" uncensored on Dutch TV, eh? Sweet.
So having visited a good many of these, I must say what made me laugh the most were the subtle details most of the sites had. Battle.net's "PC Load Letter" running when you performed a search and xkcd's "help" trap was good (lol @ Urouge), for example.
@Kairouseki:
No you don't. You have no idea what I've done to you all.
By the time you do, it'll be too late.

Hey Greg. Now what joke are you tal-
I think the funniest part is since I have avatars and images disabled, it didn't even look like a joke to me until I logged out.
I notice sites didn't go crazy with April Fools this year. Google and deviantART are the only ones I've seen.
2009 was the strongest year for pranks.
This is what I did for April Fool's:

I'm on Team Seeker. I can assure you I would've thrown a bitchfest if they dared to make me a Twilight
Topeka. Dammit, Google.

The part about James Brown flying an F-22 at the speed of sound is true.
Man What a bummer April Fools 2010, wasn't as cool as last year, or the year before. IGN's Zelda Trailer and Smash Bros XXX was way better than this year's.
Why is everyone assuming this avatar is the joke?
Its much bigger than that.

ah you're back to your old name!
. . . .
Greg never had that name.
I heard on the radio that In N' Out apparently wanted to open up a chain in Manhattan. There were people in In N' Out uniforms and everything.
Turned out the new 'stores' were shut down shops, and it was all a group effort to yank people's chain.
If it's true…epic.
Also, I'm team Edward.
Dammit, two of my watched artists are on Team Gaga. I'm outnumbered!
This .

I seriously doubt it, because In-N-Out gets a lot of its ingredients from local ranches and farms, and since this is California we're in no short supply of those. Opening restaurants in New York would have to betray the whole quality theme, and they would be insanely expensive there.
McDonald's is about as economic as possible and when I visited Manhattan, 'dollar menu' items cost like $4.99 USD not including tax (I dunno how high tax was there). I'd like to see even rich New Yawkahs pay $8 for a small hamburger.
Oh yeah, that's what they said on the radio (NPR to be exact, but I forget which program).
However, people apparently still fell for it, and In N' Out debunked it, stating the reasons that you just pointed out.
I haven't been around and haven't been hit with too many April Fools Jokes.
The only thing I have to offer is my own, that we did at the Hellsing site I co-run. And to be honest, the Joke is pretty shitty.
Deviantart is all Twilight and llamas.
I ended up on Team Edward
Was there a AP fools prank this year?:ninja:
Bungie, my favorite developing team and creators of Halo, dropped 2 April Fool's on us today, and you don't even have to like Halo (well, maybe the first one)
Multiplayer "strategy" video on the upcoming Halo Reach, HALO CHESS
This one was done with the help of IGN
HALO MOVIE (It wasn't that funny but ehh kept me entertained for a while)

Close. Now that the day is nearly done, I suppose I can let you all know.
I flew to Japan, ambushed Greg, tied him up , and locked him away in a dark scary place, and then stole his identity and took over his place in life. (Despite the not knowing any Japanese.)
Hilarious stuff.

You know robby, I think you're just crazy enough to do that.
So, uh, what'd you do about his wife?
Meh slim pickings. DA's avatar madness (I was on Team Lady Gaga =p) and the podcast fawning over Bleach was about it for me.

Is that who that woman that was yelling at me was?
Empflix's only 30 minutes for porn from now on joke. Its amazing how people will react to shortened porn stream time.
A fellow /b/tard posted the idea of "1. Send SMS to ex. girlfriend with "I still love you" in it -> 2. Wait for response -> 3. Reply to her with "April Fool's!"".
I still remember the reply one guy posted:
"i would do that and be part of the fun… but i know that if i do it my ex girlfriend will know that it's true (it is) and that would only make me cry"
Something along those lines. We all laughed hysterically behind our monitors, as we cherished our personal epic life accomplishments.
Around the Horn on ESPN had an awesome prank. They did the entire show backwards from ending of the show to the beginning of the show.

You could do the same thing for Halloween.
The only April Fools prank were I fell for it was the prank at Collegehumor.com, it can be viewed here: http://www.collegehumor.com/aprilfools
That was the only time where I didn't look at today's date because that shit was far too serious xD I was actually scared there.
