I agree with this in most ways, though there hasn't been a tune like this that got caught in my head from the Opening since Brave New World… I hate to be a blasphemer but I think this song passed Kokoro no Chizu on my list... Brave New World sill Numbero Uno

shrugs To each his own, right? But yes, Brave New World is still the best OP opening as of this time (IMO, anyway).

I know it's been used in movie 7, but they can make an exception, eh? Or at least SOMETHING with a steel drum band! Is that so much to ask? XD

According to the Directors, Movie 7 started out as a Joke.
They all sat at a table when they were talking about it, Oda included, and everybody joked about how Oda'd been making Nami's boobs steadily bigger and bigger and how, for movie 7 they should be bigger than her head. Someone else joked that they should bounce all the time too, and someone else added that they should have sound effects too. A Good Laugh was had by all…
then the first bit of the movie with Nami in it came back, and the stuff they were joking about somehow made it's way into the final animation pieces.

Reading the translated lyrics, it DOES fit the upcoming arc very well, and the lyrics are rock solid.

That said, the singing is too whiny and the instrumental bits are just flat and frankly, the whole thing grates on my nerves. Even the animation. Most of it doesn't really go with the music and it feels very jarring. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I really don't care for it.

Hey, I have a question. What would you all recommend for a first drink? I recently turned 21 so I wanna have my first shot at the good stuff. I'm thinking some kind of red wine, you know something with a bit of class to it, but nothing too expensive since money's tight.

I had Fat Tire as my first beer and it was pretty good…
But I suggest plum wine as a first drink because it taste more like plum than alcohol, which is good for easing in a beginner. I also like sake, either hot or cold, but that's strong stuff and if you want to start out slow go for either plum wine or melon rum with 7-up.
