Seriosuly thou.., WHY wont they show us a decent fight? I mean they do it on the sci-fi channel….
Heroes

I hope they actually deceide to remove Hiro's time stopping powers completely. They should change it into slowing-down time, that would make his powers way more interesting. And he should get back his sword, that would make for some pretty epic combo's.

My girlfriend wants me to start watching this series but I can't even find the first season online. Anyone know of a good site to watch it without any downloading?

This is a good site to use: http://www.yidio.com/show/heroes
It has actually helped me out a lot as it's got links to all 3 seasons

(sorry for the double post)
The new season started off last night and, as always, I couldn't wait a few weeks to see it in the UK, so I watched it online
A few thoughts on the episode:
! Peter - I liked how he was adjusting to his old life and that he doesn't feel he HAS to save the world (again), but it's probably still early to assume that
! Hiro and Ando - No matter what scene they are in, I just love them no matter what and they did not disappoint. However…DON'T DIE HIRO!!!!!!!!
! Matt and Sylar - This is probably going to be a short term thing until Sylar eventually gets his body back (you know he will) but judging from next week's preview, this could be a complete change of character for our lovable Matt
! Claire - Still pretty annoying as ever. She jumps out a window and gets seen (AGAIN, seriously, how many times has this happened)
! The new "bad" guys - It's really too early to tell what it is they actually want but it looks like they will play a major part in the series. Samuel seems like a good guy, helping Hiro and all, but he does give off a high creepy vibe
Overall is was a pretty enjoyable episode with a few things you could easily see coming, but hey, that's "Heroes" for you -
This show is definitely written by Kishimoto.
-
Samuel is T Bag from Prison break, he's gonna be Evil NO MATTER WHAT. The only thing that was good in this ep is Peter not getting his ass kicked for ONCE and Tracy having water logia now.
But my biggest complaint, MATT JUST READ THE FUCKING WATERBOY'S MIND. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO TAKE AWAY HIS FREE WILL YOU DOUCHEBAG?
-
does this show still suck?
-
Nope.
The last episode was pretty damn good.
-
the first of the season is always good. i'm sure it will suck from here on in.
-
This episode was horribly written, so much cringe-worthy dialogue. And the usually awesome sound design of this show took a plunge too, with some really distracting music cues.
Tracy was the only interesting part about this episode for me, everything else was meh at best imo. Hopefully it'll get better. And hopefully they won't kill off and/or write off all the good characters like they do every season.
! So when Peter used Ray Parks' character's speed powers why did he also get the knife skills? He only copies powers, not physical skills that he doesn't know. He's Rogue, not Monica Dawson. Just something that bugged the hell out of me

! I dont think there's any skills per say, i just think he likes to use knives and peter was able to keep up with him so be could block the knives. Watch the fight again he only blocks the kinves and then kicks and punches. The most likely answer is that peter has finally started learning how to fight after 3 seasons of being useless.
-
! Who here thinks the old timer time traveler guy has the same shit Hiro has? I'm glad they finally put shit on Hiros powers, the old guy probably has a tumor as well
Or he could just be dying of natural causes…being old and all.

Parkman is retarded ! -
Robert Knepper and Zachary Quinto are the best actors in this show.
-
Anyone living in North Carolina, Heroes will be on tonight at 3:00 AM. The postponed the show so people can watch the Panthers game. I don't know why. I live in North Carolina, and even I know the Panthers suck.
-
Chrono Trigger reference in the newest episode.
Seems to finally become a good season. -
This season is good. Robert Knepper is good.
-
Sorry for bumping this topic, but the season finale aired tonight. It was really good, in my opinion.
! Robert Knepper did an excellent job as Samuel, playing as the calm fatherly figure, the sinister manipulator with dreams of grandeur, and ultimately, the broken raving man who could not accept defeat, all with astounding talent. Sylar's change was actually organic this time and made sense given what he had gone through; much more so than his changes during season 3. We finally got closure on Charlie's storyline, Mohinder didn't really do anything this season, which is good (much better than when he's shoehorned into the storyline in an attempt to keep him relevant), and the world of the series was quite literally changed forever, with Claire doing what her (birth) father couldn't and successfully revealing the existence of superpowers to the world.
! All in all, I felt this season was around season 1 in terms of quality, much better than the past two seasons, and I look forward to the next one. -
Heroes is cancelled…finally. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/3004420/heroes_canceled_by_nbc_after_four_seasons.html
For those who still care, NBC is giving it a chance to tie up some loose ends with a mid-season TV-special movie.
-
best to put a dying dog out of it's misery.
-
well it was bound to happen as the article said. It was just silly near the end, like a different person was writing, directing, and producing every story arc and then they just jammed em all together.
-
Bye Bye Hiro's Heroes.
-
The show was just gawd-awful by the time it got to the 4th Season. I marathoned the last season, but quit after about 8 episodes or so.
Samuel has to be the most uninteresting villain I have seen in a while.
-
I liked Samuel. =[
-
So the show made it to 4 seasons WOW (a miracle). Like prison break I only watched the 1st season.
-
Goodbye shitty show. You were a lame waste of money and time from season 1.
-
well im in 5 episodes of prison break season 2 and its still pretty good.
-
goodnight terrible series

Season 2 is good.
Good thing heroes ended. Terrible shit. -

I liked Season 1, though the episode I liked the most was "Five years in the future". And I think they should have had Claire die in the first season as well. 'Twas only a matter of time till they finally cut it.
-
i liked samuel too..i just didn't like the way he was defeated…or how they kept turning sylar into a little bitch and ruining his ambition...but yeah it went downhill with Volume 2 and 3...4 and 5 had potential but they kept screwing it up...really i tuned in week after week to see what Sylar was going to do but Samuel and his little cult were interesting, i loved the way we went around manipulating everything...ah well...they shouldn't do that mini-movie wrap up thing...should leave it well enough alone...
-
Claire is the worst character ever.

Stopped watching in mid 3rd season - when everyone turned evil.
Is the 4th season any good? -

Don't waste your time bro.

Ok thanks, i will only imagine how much worse it got after the fabulous 1st season, the mediocre to passable 2nd and the wtf, seriously WTF!?? 3rd…
Still, did the 2nd half of the 3rd season make up for any of the previous shit?
-
I stopped watching Heroes right after that horrendous Tim Kring interview. The one where he said, among other facepalm worthy quotes, that some loose ends from seasons 1/2 wouldn't be revisited since the viewers "most likely forgot about it already"
…Someone stop him from commit another series please.
-
I remember the Kring interview at Comic Con before the series premiered in 2006 where he said that, unlike Lost, Heroes would answer its questions.
Yeah.
Darlton paid them back in full last year with their whole Heroes skit though.

They removed as much of the poorly received concepts from seasons 2 and 3 as they could, made the characters less liable to make stupid decisions by weakening them (for example, Peter can only copy one power at a time to prevent him from being able to solve all of the show's plots at once), and Danko (the villain for that part of the season) was much more interesting than Arthur Petrelli. (then again, it was difficult for anyone to be less interesting than him) All in all, I felt that season 4 and the second half of season 3 were better than season 2 and the first half of season 3, but there were so many characters that it became impossible for the show to focus properly, and none of the seasons were as good as season 1 (even though that still had loose ends - wasn't there a character who was trying to help Parkman and Ted (the radioactive guy) take down the Company who was never referenced after that point?).

If you're talking about that woman who could control computers and shit, her story continued in the comics. I think she died.

The actress has moved on to better things, too. I highly enjoy watching her in Castle, but that just might be my Nathan Fillion fanboyism.
-
the thing about heroes was i did enjoy it, it was entertaining, but as for its story wow is there a shittier writer than this series.
i swear every episode added 10 new plot holes

Ahm, sounds gay, but Stana Katic is gorgeous, i fell in love with her the moment i first saw her!
Molly Quinn too and she isn't even legal…
Castle is awesome in so many ways!
