One Piece on Netflix (12 June) !!

Was hoping it would be in Europe too since they even released Stampede in theaters in most countries here.
-
I'm wondering if they'll have the dub? I assume no since Netflix never seems to get the dub until years later. I recall One Punch man didn't get a dub version until years after it aired on Toomnami.
Still though, this is a great thing to marathon. I look forward to Netflix asking me if I'm still watching every few hours. I'll probably press yes.
-
From what i've read, it might be the first 120-130 episodes. End it off with Robin joining.

It should be the first 130, they said it was the East Blue and Arabasta sagas.
Arabasta ends at 130 (unless the filler's included, then it's 143).

I'm guessing this might be a hint to what the live action may cover. Either some of EB Saga or an amalgamation of both seasons. There's a chance that's not it at all and they just release Skypiea and/or EL shortly after

New trailer for the anime's debut on Netflix with the Funimation dub.
-
Here is a interesting thing about One Piece being on Netflix. The episodes are going by the seasons they were release in Japan on dvd acorrding to this. So it will be the following.
One Piece: East Blue
One Piece: Entering into the Grand Line
One Piece: Enter Chopper at the Winter Island
One Piece: Alabasta -
I wonder if the credits and title cards will just be left in Japanese.

Maybe they'll be redone in that red early 2000s-style 3D font.
-
Hm, what font would that be?
-
I'm glad its finally coming to Netflix, but i just wish the UK was getting it as well. I guess we'll have to wait even longer….

It would be greater, if it is worldwide ;)

Those are the titles that come up if you access Japanese Netflix in English (through a proxy in my case). Those have been the titles since well before American Netflix announced anything One Piece, so I assume that Netflix asks for English-language titles even when there's no actual English option for the content. Like Cruncyroll, Japanese Netflix has the first two Toriko crossovers but not the Torkiko/DBZ one.

In my country, several French people tweeted on Twitter the appearance of a Netflix page for One Piece and that the anime will also arrive on June 12 at home.
-
Unfortunately in Italy we haven't a Netflix page yet :( I don't think it will be available on June for us.
-
Looking at that list, I assume they'll just skip over the specials. Would be cool if Funimation went back and dubbed them for release on Netflix, though. That would drum up attention to the fact that the episodes are now on NX.
-
It's up, but it got Simpsons'd.
-
Is strange that they came up with this during the development of a live action.
I'm exited about this new Op Wave, it could even lead to hollywood adaptations.

it could even lead to hollywood adaptations.
That's the OP live action,
they will have unprecedented budget, and the producers have reunited with Oda several times, Oda aproved the scripts and is executive producer.
Lets them wish them sucess with the live action for now, Oda said he was very picky about giving away the live rights

Now I wish there was a cheesy 90s movie with Paul Reubens as Luffy, Robin Williams as Brook, and Sylvester Stallone as Franky.

What does that mean?
Cropped.
Although The Simpsons on Disney Plus looks way worse than One Piece on Netflix. They put it through some kind of awful remastering program that totally destroyed the image quality of the older seasons.
-
Didnt disney fix the simpsons crop? Basically its now orange brick dbz cropping for us with one piece on netflix

Oh ok thanks for the info

The strangest thing about the One Piece on Netflix is the Japanese credits in the opening and ending, instead of English. They even still have the subtitles in Japanese for the lyrics during the opening

Yikes…. You know this is a thread about the anime being on Netflix, not the live action series.

I didnt see the homo part and thought everyone reacted to him not liking Netflix.

I know right? I wish they make his favorite character "VERY homo" hahaha, just to spite him,
it would be hilarious watching guys like him foam at the mouth on social media hahaha
-
What a terrible first post from a newbie account. Probably one of the worst I've seen in a while.
-
I obviously missed some fun here, what happened?

I think the person got banned or deleted the post,
but there was someone hoping there were "NO homos" in the live action OP

One Piece Movies 8 (Episode of Alabasta) and 9 (Episode of Chopper) are coming to Netflix on February 15th.

Now, we just need to know if Episode of Chopper is going to have a english dub or not. -
I hope it is dubbed
-
At the very least it'll be subbed, but if it's strictly Toei and not Funi behind it, I wouldn't count on a dub.
-
the logo the website is using for Alabasta is the English one
https://www.netflix.com/jp-en/title/70086565and for Chopper, it's the Japanese logo

More episodes of One Piece is coming to Netflix on March 1st.

–- Update From New Post Merge ---
More One Piece on Netflix news. Strong World is coming to Netflix on March 15th.
-
Since we're a day away before new episodes of One Piece comes to Netflix. I'm wondering if they get to Water 7 and Enies Lobby in this batch of episodes will the episodes be the same video that both crunchyroll and Pluto tv got which it cut out opening 8, ending 14, and ending 17.
-
So its almost EVENING and Netflix has not uploaded the 195 episodes they promised they would.
-
Netflix Brazil said that the date that appeared on the One Piece page was a mistake, but that the new seasons are coming "soon". Fans here in Brazil are really pissed lol. It even got trending on Twitter.
-
Film Z is coming to Netflix on April 15th.
-
If it's like what Brazil Netflix is getting, more episodes of One Piece would be coming out in May in 3 batches.
May: Season 5 - 7 (Post Alabasta - G8/Davy Back Fights)
June : Season 8 - 10 (Water 7 - Thriller Bark)
July: Season 11 - 13 (Sabaody - Impel Down) -
I know this has little to do with One Piece but I hope Netflix wont go down under.
