@Satsuki:
I think he meant personality-wise, as Kitty's power is intangibility, the power to phase through objects. Not . . . . . whatever Buffy does.
It still doesn't matter the … I wasn't even considering Ms. Marvel in that post.
I wasn't asking if people here liked Ms. Marvel, Kitty or Buffy, personality or power wise.
Please go reread that post of mine. I was asking"Is this Whedon that was mentioned is same as Joss Whedon" who created Buffy and I referred that he does (or least did) like one female superhero when he mentioned Kitty.
But I didn't say what I wanted to clearly which led to this confusion.
I meant to say he has commented that Kitty was a "Proto-Buffy" in an interview a few years back, giving me the impression that Kitty was one of the inspirations behind Buffy. So I was trying to joke ( and truly fail) that maybe he would prefer Kitty.
On the side… it was personality-wise (and I suspect her fighting ability not powers -when writers decide to use Kitty's and not write her as ... bleargh - really hate those type of writers who don't see or use Kitty's various skills) Joss Whedon was referring to. Here is a link to a page were it's said and the direct quote in an interview Time had in 2005= "TIME: Kitty was sort of a proto-Buffy, right?
JW: Kitty was a huge proto-Buffy. I mean, there was no other you could point to as strongly."
