The Anti-Monitor looks like MCU Thanos. The Anti-Monitor is also revealed to the creator of the League of Assassins, who have been directly or indirectly responsible for each of Oliver's enemies. Oliver is going to die stopping the Crisis.

I’m shocked nobody has been talking about Watchmen here. It’s one of the best tv shows of the decade.
I have no idea where this show is going. But anyway, I have one problem with this series: I personally can't find any charismatic character. I think the only actor I liked was Jeremy Irons, but unfortunately he didn't get much conversation with actual characters.
As for the nazi themes, at first I thought it was an asspull to sell the show in the US. But then I read somewhere that "Rorschach was homophobic, misogynist (he excused Sally's rape as a "lapse in judgment" and that she shouldn't dress like a whore), a conspiracy nut and extremely far right". And I'd completely forgot/didn't know about that. So now I'm okay with it
And I'm looking forward to seeing NiteOwl in season 2.
Also, the funny thing is that Don Johnson also played a KKK guy in Django Unchained
This crossover has been better than I thought it would be. Showing love to so many movies and shows of the past, while appreciating every Arrowverse show.

I don't watch Supergirl, but I was still able to keep up with what was going on. I judge crossover episodes by how effective they were at using the identity of the show of the night to convey the bigger story, while also functioning as a story that serves the main narratives. The 3 narratives in this were able to make the best out of what Supergirl is. That is coming together, no matter race and keeping hope alive, despite the losses. I'm not too privy to Lena and Alex's issue, but it ok seeing them put their differences aside to help as many people possible escape. Oliver, as usual, took the lead, but died at the end and that caught me off guard. It felt so early, but it was a great way to establish how dire this was. They used the baby to weirdly get to Oliver of Earth 16 and that was lame. The saving grace was what Sara gave to him and remembered about herself. They are both tenacious characters and the best leaders.

This was the weak link for me. Too much of the episode was catered to Lex. I understand that Clark and Lois are getting a show that I might not watch and Lex will make their lives hell, but this was a Batwoman episode and they dropped the ball for her specifically, while trying to hype up Lex. The way Kate mistakenly killed Bruce was also bad. What saved this episode was Smallville Clark pissing off Lex. I grew up on Smallville and him giving up his powers for his family is a beautiful send off. Batwoman's show is taking to long to establish an identity, so it had no ground to stand on from the jump. Every episode has some good stuff, but then every journal take to Bruce pisses me off. Kate us dull and the actress performance is the reason. This episode mirrored why the Batwoman episode had to be crowded by Lex's Paragon test. A little Harbinger cliffhanger that finally showed Anti Monitor. Another decent part was Oliver being brought back, but his soul couldm't due to the wave's interruption.

Black Lightning has been better than Flash for the last 2 seasons. The Akils make it their business to stand on their own, but leave wiggle room to play with the rest of the verse when it's necessary. This episode was great and I highly doubt Jennifer's role in Crisis is over. While Pariah saved Jefferson, she was in that other form and was not shown to be wiped out by the wave like the rest. It was explained that she went through that experience with her other world versions because of her power, which goes beyond matter. Seeing Anissa's words to Jefferson play out with his other versions being killed was poetic. How each version of Jennifer dealt with Odell and Jefferson wasn't just for this event, it entails everything that has happened this season, while showing the effects of the Crisis. This episode was written perfectly to showcase how Black Lightning's identity in this universe is to hold it's own, but work together when needed. Jeniffer was able to speak to all over her other world counterpart's soul with the right logic.

My favorite episode of the main three so far. I didn't care for Kate trying to stop Kara and it took up the perfect amount of time in the episode. It wasn't bad, it was just like yeah whatever. Neither of them were going to fight because both characters are so indecisive. They are the "too late/pick up the pieces" kind if characters. A whole lot of predictable pump faking. I'm not a big comic reader, but i could sense that the Monitor was on his way out and soon. I liked how Harbinger turned around and smiled before beating up Diggle. Did not see the Lex twist coming, but it was built up nicely. All the Superman nonsense made perfect sense. Oliver becoming Spectre was so perfect. It just fits so well. From Constantine to Lucifer, then Jim Corrigan, it was done so well. It's in a place where Oliver wasn't revived. He serves a greater purpose. It's the best twist so far. Now, we have 2 characters that are kind of above the anti matter wipe out. Oliver as Spectre and Jennifer in that form. So those 2 and the 7 Paragons have 2 episodes to defeat the Anti-Monitor.
! Now to address my favorite narrative of the episode and crossover in full. First, Tom Cavanagh has made the Arrowverse so fun to watch. So many different characters on Flash. Now Pariah gets to be the one that started it (heard his comic counterpart did as well), but is huge in helping as he brings Jefferson into the fold. Cisco being forced to become Vibe again was hilarious to me. He fought so hard to not be that and Monitor was like nope, you have a role in this that needs your powers. Earth 90 Barry was such a great addition in Elseworlds and Crisis. His flashback as he dies was so good, even tho I didn't watch that show. I hope Barry took something from that sacrifice. You still might have to die Barry.

Very similar experience. I thought Family Guy humor with more fights, but it's actually decent. DC Universe has been good. Hope Stargirl isn't bad
I'm liking this change to the Flash post-crisis.
! Mirror Master finally getting his/her time to shine as a proper arc villain, not just a one-and-done (and alongside another villain, no less). This reinvention of previous villains gives me hope that they might try to change a few of the things they did wrong with some villains in the past. Most importantly: the Rogues. If we get a proper Rogues in season 7 I'm going to be a happy camper, even if Captain Cold and Heat Wave might not make the cut. Mirror Master, Trickster, The Top, Pied Piper, Golden Glider, Turtle… So many villains we could see in this Rogues gallery otherwise.
Hell, I'm not uncertain that this new threat won't turn out to be the Rogues. We've got Mirror Master and Doctor Light, and they've been operating for roughly the amount of time the show's been going on. It could easily turn out to be Mirror Master calling the shots and hiring a bunch of other villains, or collaborating with them to stop the Flash. It'd give us a bunch of villains without the 'filler episodes' they're trying to avoid this season. Here's to hoping we see the Rogues this season or next with this new Earth Prime!
I quite like the ambiance of this episode of Flash. The other shows just went forward while I feel Flash really explored a team that is struggling on how to move forward after focusing on something for so long. And also on how much waa lost. Also the stinger and name drops have me interested.

I still maintain that the first half of season 3 is the classic Arrow like the first two seasons literally up until the point Oliver falls off the mountain. Right after that the show took a tailspin of bad writing up until season 5 saved it.
It's such a perfect cliffhanger for a midseason finale too! I really don't know how they fucked it up.
Up until that point here is what we know:
Malcolm was targeted by Ra's Al Ghul because of the Undertaking violated the League's code. Malcolm was terrified of Ra's so he trained Thea, then manipulated her into killing Sarah so that he would have leverage to force Oliver to fight Ra's.
As in this was Malcolm's plan. This is the cunning strategist who engineered a citywide conspiracy that resulted in it being leveled, the guy who manipulated his daughter who hated him into training with him. So clearly when Oliver is DESTROYED in his fight with Ra's it had to be of some bigger plan. Right? Right?
Nope, cut to the second half of the season and it turns out that literally was Malcolms plan. He's not shocked by it either, so it begs the question…...WHY?
When the point of the second half of the season is Malcolm saying "we can only do this by working together", getting Thea in the fold, having Oliver ultimately play double agent and make Malcolm become the new Ra's. If that was the point, why not have started with that instead of sending Oliver to a solo fight on a mountain? Malcolm was the one who shared with the League that "Thea" killed Sarah. He could have easily just blackmailed Oliver with that evidence to say "Ok we need to team up to stop him".
And of course that's only second to the dumbest thing of that season; Oliver surviving the mountain with ZERO explanation. He falls off the mountain after being stabbed through the chest, with multiple other cuts. Then he just...lives. Tatsu says he's been "revived", yet the next episode they just casually say something along the lines of "you're healing well". Then an episode later he's just walking about.
They could have easily just had it be a part of Malcolm's plan for him to nearly die like that. Ra's wouldn't attack Thea because he honored Oliver's stand, Ra's collects Oliver from the bottom of the mountain, and then uses stolen Lazarus Pit water to revive him. Bam, there ya go.
Instead we got horrible moments like Malcolm saying "there's not body, clearly he was buried in a snowstorm. But I just so happen to find Ra's sword, test the blood I bet it's Oliver's" while Felicity cries about it.

I loved the first half of S3 as well and for the same exact reason. Merlyn, Slade and Chase made this show. The writers were definitely in love with the idea of Oliver "dying" in a sword fight and fumbled Malcolm's strategy.

Both s5 & s2 are great and similar. S5 wins over S2 because I like that the main villain is not concerned with destroying the city which I always found was a bit too grand when your goal is only to hurt Olliver. I like Adrian keeping it focused. My only down point with 5 is I think it should have been Adrian plan to only have the mother on the island so that Olliver will be racked with guilt when it happens. With so many people on the island it just felt cheap since you know they are not killing their main cast.
Season 8 did a great job paying hommage to the history of the show.
S7 It took me time to appreciate it. The first half is really good but the Emiko stuff drags it down in the second. But If you ignore the flash forwards it is a great story about Olliver building his legacy. Dinah is chief of police, Renee is running for mayor, Ollie has made vigilantes and the police partners.
I debated the ranking of 6 and 3. For me the reason 6 is the worst is that there's no moment when I'm enjoying the ride. Diggle getting to be GA should be triumphant but instead I'm left judging Diggle for not telling Olliver the truth. I should never have to judge Diggle. Then we move to the team splitting then it is to to the most unthreatening villain Diaz that somehow last the rest of the season.
S3 I like less than 4 because the second half 3 is messy whereas I think in s4 it is very specifically the Felicity thing I find stupid the rest is fine. Also Damian plan make some sense whereas Raz suddenly wanting to destroy star city felt too sudden. And both have decent first halves.
My favorite part of Arrow was definitely the brothers Olliver made along the way. Anatolli, Diggle, Barry… Slade is also great but he's more mentor/partner than brother for me.
So the actors for Allegra and Chester in The Flash have both been promoted to series regulars for next season.
Chester's actor being promoted specifically does make me think it's likely that Carlos as Cisco will be leaving after this season. For the last full season they've teased him leaving as rumors have been spread of Carlos wanting to leave. A year later and here we are with a character that has been written specifically as a nerdy, pop culture heavy smart guy.
I wouldn't mind it as much if this wasn't like the 5th person to fit this stereotype in the Arrowverse.
Had they gotten Curtis from Arrow to come over, then this would work a lot better. Because Chester pretty much is Curtis, a fast talking nerdy, pop culture refrencing tech genius. Except Curtis is gay and Chester is not. And that's about all the differences/
I'm fine with Allegra's actress being promoted to regular, because I've actually enjoyed the story of her, Iris, and Nash so far. But it is a bit concerning with how crowded the cast of main characters on the Flash are.
Someone did point out that this may be an attempt though, to avoid what happened to Jesse Quick and Gypsy's actresses. Both were only guest stars, both accepted main roles on other shows, and couldn't appear when the writers would have liked. This specifically resulted in the killing of Gypsy's character. That same person pointed out that while Ralph is a main character, he still doesn't appear many episodes at a time. So it seems the Flash crew is accumulating a large amount of characters billed as Regulars, which pay more than guest roles, in an attempt to keep them available for the sake of the story rather than have them not appear because of later scheduling conflicts.
In addition, given Danielle Panabaker is many months pregnant now, it's likely there will be less of her towards the end of this season and the new additions to the cast may be to fill some time while she'll be on leave toward the beginning of next season.
And while I don't follow the show outside of the crossovers, melissa benoist, Supergirl herself just announced she's pregnant as well. So it'll be interesting to see how Supergirl goes next season.
Harley is such a good show and i'm usually not into the South Park/Family Guy like humor.
I think it's because they really nail the characters in their more comedic roles. It actually is a good Batman show, just with focus on Harley Quinn and portrayed as a comedy. I just watched the most recent episode, and I love their versions of Bane and Batgirl.

Clayface recently entered my top 5 just off the episode where he plays the college girl.
I've loved Clayface and Mr. Freeze ever since their Batman: The Animated Series debut episodes. I also really like monsters and Clayface has very versatile powers. Even if Clayface has just been a joke character and hardly ever gets to show-off his powers I'm still glad he was in the main cast so other people can appreciate him. I mean, who is ever going to forget his lil' right hand voiced by Spongebob or the episode he became a college girl.
I'm so glad they didn't twist and go with Scott Snyder's Mr. Freeze, and instead let Mr. Freeze be the best guy ever.

Just finished Apokolips War. It's the best DCAMU movie to date.
I feel like Apokolips Wars would've been a lot better as a two-parter…and, y'know, not looking ugly like all these movies do. It's a shame because I think the concept of a movie-universe through animation was a really good idea, it's just that they're all poorly animated, directed, and colored. :|
So Hartley Sawyer, who plays the Elongated Man, Ralph Dibney on the Flash has been fired, after multiple tweets of his from 2012 were brought to attention. Many of these seems to be really, really, REALLY shit attempts at "dark humor" like "was just at the 7-11 I once beat my girlfriend out" and things of that nature.
The showrunner made a post about his firing, that many of the cast followed in sharing, explaining that the Flash is more-or-less a family show and don't feel such a cast member belongs among them. Danielle Nicolet shared a post about how, like other people she's worked with, it feels terrible to work with someone who to your face seems nice, yet can share various racist posts.
Many are comparing it to James Gunns firing from Disney and Guardians. I don't quite see it as an equal comparison. James Gunn made jokes "about" pedophillia, wasn't targeting races or mocking things like domestic abuse in the the sense of just posting about it and saying "well it was a joke".
On the other hand, to play a bit of devils advocate, similar to Disney, the CW clearly didn't vet his social media beforehand and only took action after it was brought to their attention.
So yeah, just kind of sucks all around. For the show specifically, it sucks because the last season, while also cut short because of COVID, had set up a clear story with Ralph and Sue, which is now going to be dropped abruptly once shootings begins for season 7.
I'm honestly more surprised he was the cast cut, rather than Danielle Panabaker choosing an early exit for her contract, or outright quitting due to the drama between her and Candice Patton.
Unrelated to the Flash drama but I've been loving Stargirl so far, outside of having to take a shot every time Courtney says "Starman was my father" and naturally being shitfaced before an episode can end.
I finished Supergirl season 5. Jon Cryer continues to do a great job of being Lex. Also I have finished watching Harley Quinn season 1. Bane, I have to say been one of the major highlight for best character on the show in the first season. I also like that the show a mixture of the Kim Possible and Venture Bros like humor. I like Ivy is pretty much the Shego of the main cast.

True but I know that Allegra actually has powers at this point. I wonder Chester will gain powers of if they're just going to give him tech? Speaking of Allegra, I do hope they tidying up the Nash storyline next season. I understand how hard Crisis and COVID-19 made things for them so I'm willing to give them a bit of slack but I say just give Nash a big focus episode (without much if any Barry to give him time to rest) to give Nash a hell of a send-off and then let Eobard comeback full-time. I really want to see both Eobards team up somehow.

When I first heard of a Harley cartoon, I told myself I wouldn't like it. When the trailer dropped, it was cool and warranted a try. This show has been so good. This is how you use Gotham and the vast amount of DC characters that rarely get shine. Clayface is my fav character. Can't wait for S3.
Stargirl is a well put together show. As hs as it gets, I don't really feel like it gets annoying. The antagonist are still competent.
Episode 6 has been the best episode so far.
! The family dynamic is handled well in Young Justice, but seeing Sportsmaster and Tigress on the same page is great for this show. I can see Artemis struggling morally going forward, despite showing a similar disposition to her parents. Oh yeah, I want Jakeem on the show already. They mentioned him some episodes back, but the science fair showed no sign of him.
To top it all off, Doom Patrol returns. DC Universe is solidifying itself, despite AT&T clearly trying to get rid of it. In the midst of the Warner purchase, DC Universe was already planned, but not exactly approved by the new buyers. They were more ready to go against Netflix and Disney+. Now, if anyone doubts that DC U isn't being slowly destroyed, then why give a shitty excuse for the cancellation of Swamp Thing, then switch up the reasoning with an even shittier excuse. If there were budget issues, they could've easily fixed that by broadcasting it on HBO. Instead you announce the cancellation when the 1st episode is about to air, when you already know you wanted it gone way before that.
Swamp Thing was fresh and way different than the typical superhero show. Marais is one of the best written cultural setting. It had great visuals for a horror and James Wan produced a great project overall.
Now, they decide to simulcast shows on their multiple platforms like Harley on Syfy, Stargirl edited on CW and Doom Patrol on HBO Max. What's the point of exclusivity, if you provide it on other platforms and you felt the need to cancel Swamp Thing? Should've done this in the beginning. What they're really doing is slowly migrating these shows onto other platforms to kill DC Universe under the guise of "this can justify the budget". Is this not why you killed Swamp Thing? Man, whatever
Anyway, yeah. Doom Patrol dropped 3 episodes. I've only watched 2. Diane puts on the best performance. No character is wasted. They are known for balancing the struggles of each character. This is group therapy with an eccentric experience every episode. It's like Legends Of Tomorrow, but way better. Legends was made to play musical chairs throughout the series, but unfortunately in the episodes they do it as well. Each season, the group was supposed to change by characters leaving and new characters joining and they do. The issue is some new characters get left in the background during the season due to actors having other obligations and some characters are present, but are wasted.
! I'm glad Ray Palmer is gone. I hated his character.

This was the perfect start and as always, it's FUCK NILES!!!!!!!!! Can't wait for him to die. Preferably in that dumb ass wheelchair that he keeps creeping up on people with out of nowhere

! Larry's story is cool. I wish he went into the house and indulged his family, but I get why he can't. When the butterfly came into the barn, I knew something was off. Now a kaleioscope just surrounded him and I can't wait to see what tripped out therapy session he is about to embark on. At first, I was skeptical about Cyborg leaving the house. Now I see that he can serve a purpose outside of just being troubled. The little social commentary moment with the thief was a decent look into how it shouldn't be so black and white for Cyborg whether it's dealing with a criminal or himself. Niles sends the rest of the group on a mission, despite not wanting them to fix his issues. I want to go skating just off this episode now, thank you Dr Tyme. Cliff's outburst are funny. Rita is broken and Jane looks like she might finally pass the torch to Miranda. I love when I feel like the worst is about to happen to the protagonist

Javicia Leslie will play Ryan Wilder, the new Batwoman. Leslie is bisexual, so as a bi woman myself I'm always happy to see others get work. I'm interested in seeing how things shake out for the series as a whole. I'm definitely hoping to see Ryan's character throw in some story and character curve balls for everyone.
The stargirl show is great, it's just gets better and better each episode. And I like how they set up..
! The new JSA but also the new injustice society, with cameron, brainwave jr, artemis, cindy. Since it looks like JSA will beat the old ISA this season or in season 2 and they will form the new ISA in future seasons.
Anybody seen the latest Lucifer trailer yet? I am scared that they will mess this up this season. Something did not feel right when I watched it.
It's so close I'm trying to not watch it. S4 was so great I hope they keep the quality.
Finished binge-watching Lucifer. That was great. I'm glad Netflix picked it up. What surprised me about the show is that even when an episode ends dark, when Lucifer has some dark realization about himself – the next episode is still light-hearted.
Can't wait for season 5 - and 6.
I didn't realize at the time that the last two episodes of season 3 are considered bonus episodes. I was like wtf am I watching?
Just finished the season 1 finale of Stargirl. I thought it was a great episode to end of the season.
! I really like they are setting up Shade and Eclipso as the main villains for Season 2. Also I didn't expected Starman to appeared at the end of the episode.
So far, Legends of Tomorrow has added a new cast member that will help usher in the alien aspect of the show. Her name is Esperanza Cruz and is played by Lisseth Chavez
Not liking one of the main plot points of season 2 of The Boys but the finale of episode 5 was pretty awesome.

DC cancelled it and Dynamite released the remainder issues. The show isn't a DC property
But it was originally from DC, I just hadn't heard about it changing hands. But considering it's basically Superman (Homelander) it still reeks of DC's fingerprints.

I'm not surprised. These production schedules are murder and trying to stay in super-shape after having a kid while simultaneously raising said kid is just tough as hell. Hopefully she'll be up to doing guest spots on the shot shows, though.
I had never been more excited for a show b4. CW was on a roll back then. I remember the 1st episode leaked in the Summer. I watched it and hated it. Never tried out an episode after. Surprised it lasted that long.
Supergirl suffers from being a neoliberal/centrist's view on feminism. It also definitely needs a sharper tongue when it comes to criticizing society. Frankly, the series needed queerer staff, more left-wing staff.
I've been watching The Flash, I just finished season 4 with DeVoe. The ending for that season leaves much to be desired, but overall, great show imo!
Superman & Lois Episode #1.
! Jesus, the new Superman theme (played when Clark reveals his powers to the twins) was fucking amazing. I felt like I was watching some sort of sweeping western epic.
! Jordan is my favorite so far. I don't like that they made Jonathan into a douche. I guess I can really related to Jordan–and it's probably why I get major egg vibes from the character--because I've been dealing with mental health issues for my entire life and it's really nice to see that touched up on. I hope they do it justice and don't just lose interest.
