RE: One Piece Live-Adaptation Drama Announced
I guess the thing I'm most curious about is if Sanji's actor is going to use his own British accent or if they will make him use an American one. I guess it doesn't really matter much, could be that in this new English Netflix based One Piece World people from North Blue speak with a British accent. Of course, Sanji's techniques are French and Germa seems German but the original is Japanese so I guess anything goes.

RE: My Hero Academia II - A true Hero
Just because she always uses 1 rule on herself doesn't mean she wouldn't change in an emergency and use both on herself.
1. My quirk can't be stolen/taken.
2. I can't crumble to dust/can't be killed. -

You're all wrong, he meant Miss All Sunky and Dorobo Neko Nami. Sanji is 3:00.

RE: Chapter 1,031: Warrior of Science
I think Sanji's "science power" is now a switch that can essentially be turned on and off but he doesn't know how to do it yet. Something like that would be very striking for Sanji because until now it seems like Oda had been emphasizing his lack of strength along with his kindness, but if he can flip a switch that completely turns off his kindness in exchange for raw power it could let him fight powerful enemies with added drama of not only attacking women but possibly crewmates as well.

One other thing to consider is she has to touch things to implement her rules. They actually shot the lasers at her and she looked much more damaged after receiving the lasers than beforehand. You'd think as long as it takes her to actually speak her command she is still "touching" and therefore being damaged by the lasers.

RE: Chapter 1030: Echoing the Impermanence of All Things
Could be, good though. I thought Law's move names were meant to lean French, after "Chambres," but "Shock Wille" this week kinda contradicts that anyway. Not that it would be the first or last example of Oda mixing his metaphors. I'll be interested to see what more multilingual fans come up with for it.
I thought "Wille" looked strange but figured Stephen chose it for a reason.
Okay, this took me some time for me to wrap my head around and figure out. First of all, I looked at what Oda originally wrote the pronunciation out in Japanese and he did specifically use the "V" sound so it could be "Ville" which is French for "City" of course. Then I looked at the Kanji Oda used for the technique and it is one we'd translate to "wave" in English so literally "Shock Wave." But then remembering that Oda seemed to use this German word "Krumm" earlier I typed "wave" into google translate and it turns out the German word is "Welle". Now, I don't know if this is the correct wave considering we have different meanings for wave in English, but thinking Oda might have done the same thing I typed in "ę³¢å (wave)" and it translated into German as "Welle" too. I did take German in high school so I remembered that a German "W" is actually pronounced like "V" in English. So technically, this German "Welle" would sound like "Velle." Oda wrote it in Japanese using a "Vi" sound and Japanese "I" sounds like long e in English so "Vi" literally sounds like the letter "Vee." If you combine French "Ville" and German "Welle" you could put them together and potentially wind up with "Wille." Um, I'm running out of steam here so all I can say is I have no clue how it ended up as "Wille."
Stephen, come and explain yourself!

@Johnny:
So, what are the odds these three Numbers are actually dangerous and not just glorified jobbers likeā¦.75% of giants in One Piece?
Based on their names they are 1, 2, and 3 so they're the strongest numbers. Inbi, far right, is number 1. Fuga, middle, is number 2. Zanki, back left, is number 3.
Most of the Numbers have been kinda underwhelming so far, but Zanki has a brilliant design. Really digging that classical devil look. The question is where this strange alliance will lead. I can't see them wanting to be enemies to the Strawhats even after the battle. I'd never have guessed the Numbers betraying Kaido either - given their Oni/giant similarities, there had seemed to be a kind of kinship there. If Oda's making the Numbers more independent, he may be laying groundwork for the long-speculated upon Elbaf Arc. If the goal of the Numbers becomes to peacefully reconnect with the other giants, it could be just the excuse needed to draw Luffy (and Usopp) in that direction. But that'll have to come laterā¦
I think you mean Inbi with the classic devil look. They are identifiable by their laughs, not the order in which their names are displayed based on their positioning in the panel if that is what you went by. You can tell he is #1 too by how detailed his design is as well. Funnily enough Inbi's name in Japanese uses the character for "one" and "beauty" so I guess they know he is pretty.

RE: Chapter 1,029: The Tower
Yeah, I have the same feeling about the translation. Target sounds way more natural than conduit. His name is Killer, not Killua. No need for fancy lingua.
I'm confused, did someone use the word "target" in the place of "conduit?" These words are not alike at all and conduit is perfect in this situation considering the spiritualist/psychic connotations of Hawkins powers.

@DorobÅ:
Manchin's own words about this rumor, or better yet fanfiction a reporter made up is that it's: "Bullshit."
Yeah, we'll take the liar's word for it. One day later, he admits he offered to leave the party. Wonder what he'll say tomorrow.
