I'm still going to see Eternals on opening weekend but definitely will have my expectations tempered by the reviews. I was not anticipating it would be that great considering just how much they'll need to cover in the span of a single movie's runtime. A team of something like a dozen new characters that most audiences aren't familiar with, plus all the supporting cast and villains? I have no idea how they planned to balance all that but it feels like it probably doesn't if it's not even getting a middle C grade.

I do care about Morbius though, I feel like it will help open the door to things like Ghost Rider coming back to the big screen and that kind of dark subject matter. But seriously, there needs to be some room for the MCU to be rated R. Let There be Carnage really needed that and didn't get it. Something like Blade that's coming up for a reboot deserves to get proper bloody. Even if they have to be released under the Fox Studios banner they can still share a continuity. They could even do re-releases in PG-13 like that Deadpool 2 Xmas thing.

A month and a half til it comes out on DVD…those crappy YouTube cuts are almost unwatchable.

Hmm…seems kind of sloppy bookkeeping. They're so big, how could they still be unseen? Hopefully it won't be something cheap later on.

I do remember hearing about the blade (supposedly able to cut through anything?) but I didn't know if he had any other powers or group affiliations.

Lana and Robert looking like they're going to have a rough time continuing and he's the one in charge of their company this does feel like the kind of thing they can speed-jump into concluding in a favorable way for ol' Sterling. I just wish these last couple of seasons were at least 10 episodes instead of 8.

Is Black Knight not one of the Eternals? I know practically zero about them, like when Guardians of the Galaxy first came out I was clueless about who they were.

I don't get why people are still talking about the Monster Trio now that Jimbei's officially on board. I even have to re-evaluate my assessment of the crew's dynamic with this new display of everyone's talents. It used to be, Powerhouses (Luffy, Sanji, Jimbei, Zoro), the weaklings who made up for it with special skills (Usopp, Nami, Brook, Robin), and the hybrids who were able to boost their strength with a versatile skill set (Chopper's transformations, especially Monster Point, and Franky with the Shogun). Because of how those numbers worked out, I was thinking the next one should logically be one of the Hybrids but since Robin showed us that Devil thing, plus the Manos Gigantes type attacks, I think it's safe to move her over there and leave the non-Powerhouses at 3 and 3. So there isn't really any place more appropriate than another at this point for anyone to join without throwing the balance off. Though if I had to guess, and Yamato is my current #1 candidate for new nakama, I'd say Yamato actually falls into the Hybrid category since even with her obvious strength, her transformation capability probably has more applications than just brute strength. I can't say as yet whether she will end up displaying a greater degree of strength than any of the Powerhouses but even if that's the case, I don't think it's problematic. I can't imagine what her role in the crew would be so it's not like being stronger than the First Mate is going to correspond to a particular job.

Nah. I liked that it focused on basically new characters with new things to do that I haven't seen rehashed in the comics a thousand times before.

I've seen Nightwing and Superboy's and Blue Beetle's arcs multiple times. It was nice getting something fresh.

Fred Bug was the best though.

That's Bugg with 2 G's! LOL. I was just disappointed we didn't get a broader look at some of the new characters. Those 3 newbies with Robin in one of the early episodes got almost nothing, so I would just have rather sacrificed a bit of Brion and Halo's time for that type of thing is all.

Did anyone else feel like season 3 wasted way too much time on Brion and Halo? Like, way, WAY too much time?
