@Monkey:
I like the idea that the media is somehow required for the scandal to exist, like Congress doesn't have panels and committees looking into it, as if the Special Counsel group doesn't exist.
It was one of many fundamental laughs I had over the "damning" CNN thing from James O'Keefe, like that guy who came in here with it, and all the rest who were celebrating over it, seemed to think the scandal and issue literally poofed out of existence if CNN stopped pushing it.
Nevermind Russia, being able to believe Trump is anything but a total atheist who knows jack about Christianity is the real amazing lie to hold on to lol.
How so many view the media is a whole different can of worms, which both amuse and depress me. As for the whole "Trump is a devout Christian" angle, there is so much wrong with that. First, prayer is just a form of meditation and while the churches want people to pray everyday, it's not considered the most important aspect of faith. There's a huge part of the church that teaches about loving your neighbor, forgiving others and not holding it against people, and just showing humility. Trump is the opposite of so many teachings (Probably all of them) I was taught when I was growing up that there's just no convincing those who will defend Trump at every turn. Guess I can be thankful at least my parents, as religious and conservative as they can be, have shown to be distrustful of Trump.
Now I'm seeing people blame the Obama administration, with someone having put up a Fox News article stating how the Russian Lawyer was granted permission to come in the states, for a case she was hired to be a part of. Despite Obama having literally no input into the decision, people are trying to turn it on him.:getlost:
@Femme:
Speaking of Trump on faith, did you know his administration broke a 20 year tradition of hosting a Ramadan dinner?
Like I mean the dinner wasn't that important or much of a big deal, but the fact that it ended with him was just a sad moment :/
Well, if you want a positive spin, at least you don't have to associate such a major tradition to him. I can only imagine the kind of blunder or stupid things he would say during the meal.
"I don't think anyone understands who Allah is, nobody knew how complicated Islam as a religion is. I know so much Arabic, Arabic you never knew actually existed"
I'd say you dodged a bullet there.
