@Australopithecus
cesear has no real use to kaido or Jack, since the dwarves were required to make smile. cesear only provided Sad.
Yes, I thought about that as well. The dwarves are great cultivators, but there could always be some other great cultivators out there or dwarves or even a devil fruit user for cultivating.
@G_soildier:
Even if Doffy was to inform captain Jack, base on the time spent first by Nami and then Bartolomeo to get to Zou, and having no idea where Jack would have been, how long would it have taken to get the means to track it down and to actually get there after?
Good point. I thought about this as well. There are a couple of hindrances that both Nami and Luffy's group had to deal with: Nami & her group had Big Mom on their tail. Luffy & his group lacked a navigator on their way to Zou. These factors could have great influence on their travel to Zou. Besides, Jack could have been in a location that is very much closer to Zou at the time he was contacted by Doflamigo(assuming that's how it happened).
@G_soildier:
everything seems to point towards Captain Jack being the one to initially chase the samurai's.
Everything like what? Jack's assumed subordinates are Kaido's subordinates.
@G_soildier:
Jacks subordinates were after samurai before they were shipwrecked.
Those are Kaido's subordinates. I dunno about whether or not they work under Jack, but they had Kaido's jolly roger on their clothes as well as horned helmets symbolizing Kaido.
This is the silhouette of Jack
He has no 'horns', so that jolly roger couldn't have been his.
@G_soildier:
Just like Doffy's men were both before and after Punk Hazard after the samurai's, though i have no idea why they are after them or how many other people or crews/groups might have an interest in them and or Momonosuke.
It appears that only people directly related to Kaido chase them. Doflamigo and Jack are both related to Kaido, so that supports what I just said.
@G_soildier:
Beside den den mushi have to be within a certain range to communiate as implied back at the start of Punk Hazard, so do we believe Joker contacted anyone?
Not at all. Dragon was contacting Iva even though they were worlds apart. Big Mom contacted Pekoms on Fishman Island even though she was on some faraway island in the New World.
@G_soildier:
and if they were close enough to communicate why would Jack wait atleast three days to go after Joker?
There is no definite answer to this yet. It could be because that's the time it took him to reach Dressrosa. In any case, there is nothing indicating that he was 'waiting' 3 days to move after Doffy.
@G_soildier:
How did Captain Jack find Zou?
Two possibilities I can reasonably think of:
- He was told about it from Doflamingo
- He got that information by torturing the people of Wano.
@G_soildier:
then we ask not only why were the samurai going there but how were they able to go there? the cards? other means?
It was never stated 'how' they were trying to get there(according to my knowledge).
@G_soildier:
oh yes also, do you really think Jora got the opportunity to tell Joker about Zou given how occupied she and her crew was, one thing after another. she was a hostage, then fleed when Law and joker went at it. then the sugar buisness after Laws interogation to which she was not present. and it spiral into chaos past that point.
Yes, I really do think so. All she had to do was contact him through a snail phone. That's one way to deliver the information to him. He himself will not leave her stranded on Greenbit like that. He must have sent her a boat or Bufallo or something to retrieve her from there.
The sugar business took a lot of time to be accomplished. Doflamingo used Bird Cage right after that, and Jora was seen in the castle(inside the Bird Cage), trying to revive the defeated members of the Doflamigo family using Mansherry, so that means that she came back from Green Bit sometime before Sugar was knocked out.
@joekido:
Then PM the staff to change it as the OP made a mistake
Well, I was inquiring about that because I wanted to know, but I have discovered why that was the case when I read Aohige's summary.
@Mr.:
"Belly" and "Stomach" are pretty synonymous words in English, though belly tends to specify the external area and stomach the organ itself. "Gut" could also work, but it's slightly less appropriate for the name of a fortress.
That's not the problem. The problem is in 'left' and 'right'
@Aohige_AP:
Pretty sure that was the intention.
Oda is teasing us. Specifically our groin region.
Dear Aohige, you have translated the title of this chapter as 'At the Fortress of Left Stomach', whereas other translators have translated it as 'At Right Belly Fortress'. Could you give us some insight into this please? Thanks.
