Greg, (yes, our Greg) came to the attention of the editors of One Piece back in 2010 when he went onto a special One Piece themed episode of 'Hoko Tate' ほこたて, where he and several other super fans faced off against all of One Piece's former editors... and he got onto it two years in a row. Things escalated from there where he was pretty much declared a number one super fan… to the point he was given a magazine column about OP in 2013. He covers both the manga and anime, that picks up on little details and insights that might have otherwise been missed. It's a bit like SBS but from a fan's perspective, complete with speculation!

Greg's column is serialized in the monthly magazine " V jump", but it also appears online every two weeks, in both Japanese and English. (Just go into the article and hit the tag in the top right to switch to English. The first year or so of articles aren't in English however.)

There used to be hosted by the network, but its been a few years. Greg does talk about it, and the second one, in detail in some of the old OP podcasts but you'll have to dig back to 2010 and 2011 for them.

The column in V-Jump differs from the one on the official One Piece site but a lot of topics overlap. There are also trivia videos with Greg (don't know if they are still a thing) which you can access through a code when you buy the monthly V-jump

Many mentioned the Florian Triangle in the chapter thread. Though the link between the respiration and the fog was never mentioned. Cool.

Well, it was actually theorized multiple times since Zou was shown. So that's not nearly new. The only "new" part of the theory would be, that there is an entire herd of elephants in the Florian Triangle.

The page mist around the florian triangle is still one of the strangest mysteries Oda revealed then never mentioned again, I really hope he clears it up.

It's the "eyes" that get me the most but it would be cool if the monsters in the mist were more elephants. I could see the water being so deep near where Thriller Bark was anchored that what we see during the final pages of that story are actually just the trunks of several elephants.

If the tip of Zou's snout has a pair of sparkly anything I'll really start to believe it. I know we've seen it already but maybe on the other side? Of course multiple people could have been riding the elephant trunks as look outs when the whole animal goes underwater.

All random guesses but a way to potentially explain some things if the two are connected.

Column is every two weeks.

And the minkman is not in any way Nami. Speech pattern is totally different (something that never translates well into English.) and she didn't react to the crew first thing.

Damn I didn't realize that Nami's bikini top was the same as her bandana in her Jolly Rodger. Good find! Oda is a master when it comes to these gags. To me the funniest gag that Oda has drawn so far was inserting that crappy picture of a fishman that Luffy had drawn into Tiger Fisher's flashback. Luffy drew a crappy fishman picture back in the early stage of the Arlong Park arc when he was asking if this is what a fishman looked like.
