I plan to, I just haven't gotten around to buying it yet. Everyone says its good but I was just in no rush after Strong World and now its been a year and I just don't think about it and haven't seen it at stores to remind me.
And 6 is my favorite up to this point. Love that animation. (And reeeally want to see Boy and the Beast.)

From what blue was the ship originaly from? Wasn't it stated that it was Franky's blue? (Pretty sure wasn't east or north, so that leaves west and south)

While the conflict with the strawhats from Strong World was direct and clearly deffined, the conflict between the crew and Z was more of payback, what reason has the crew to go to a casino (other than Nami)?
Because they are pirates :ninja: kidding. Well not by much. We rarely see the crew act like pirates, and its not just Nami (she's just known as most greedy) -
1- in Skypeia when they made off with some treasure. This time it was Luffy who was behind it, waking up the crew to snatch it.
2- Thriller bark , Nami claims the treasure Perona had her servants bring onto the Sunny.

Personal preferences, I guess. I can appreciate two men stubbornly colliding their wills until one finally gives out, but I generally prefer fights with more speed and movement.
Can´t believe Robby hasn´t watched Z by now.

Usopp's shown to have moments of great speed when in an emergency, its only a matter of time ....
First time I was sure he was unusually fast was when he ran away from the fishman, Chew. The fishmen were said to be faster and stronger than humans. Now after the timeskip, its not a big deal for Usopp to out run one, but back then? He was just an untrained village boy who just started a journey on the sea.
Remember way when SHs first encountered Aokiji who then froze Robin? As he was about to slam his foot down on Robin's frozen form, Usopp had grabbed her and got some distance away in very short amount of time. Aokiji actually looked displeased. Sure some think he was going easy, testing the SHs to see if they thought of Robin as a friend (heard some argue that) BUT when others countered his 'attempt' to smash Robin's frozen frame he seemed no-pulsed. Once or twice annoyed (judging by the shading of the eyes) at Luffy, but he didn't grit or grind the teeth as he did when Usopp did his move. Why? Maybe he was taken by surprise?

I can't remember what chapter it was, but on the Sea Train heading towards Enies Lobby Usopp managed to grab Robin and run off before any of the CP9 could stop him.

Another great article, Greg! I love reading about the stuff (like Torasaburo and Ryunosuke) that are references to other works, which often times wouldn't be spotted by people who don't know as much about Japanese culture. Oda-sensei has so many of those! The part about Soru made me laugh, too. That really is what it looks like! I noticed the slip-up with Doflamingo and Law's name in the anime, too (and actually added that on TV Tropes the other day), but only the second time I watched that part. After all the flashbacks and exposition we get, it can be hard to keep track sometimes of which characters know/don't know what info. I just assumed that it was a mistake on Toei's part, since Doflamingo (just like in the manga) seemed surprised when Law told him he's a D earlier in their fight, meaning he likely didn't hear about it from anybody in the past.

Great observation with the likely time frame on Wano! How do you think we'll pass the time? I doubt Big Mom's wedding/tea party will take a whole month, even with travel time. Will we just get an indication of time passing or do you think something else will happen?

I'm still wondering if the Minkmen never being able to be at full strength unless under a special condition is a good or bad thing to me. So…in 26 in-manga days will have AT LEAST Minkmen banquets, another fight with Jack with his defeat, travel time to Tea Party, Tea Party, travel time back from Tea Party, search time for Marco and other former Whitebeard Allies, fight and defeat of Weevil, travel time to Wano, and preparations at Wano...phew. :blink:
Isn't the Kouzuki (moonlight) family crest or kamon supposed to be a representation of the 8 phases of the moon? Also not sure if already answered somewhere else but what does Franky's shirt supposed to mean? How is it even read? Left to right: I (sun/moon symbol) H T, Right to left: (sun/moon symbol) I T H, Up to Down and Right to left: (sun/moon symbol) T I H, or something else? :wassat::sad:

It could also resemble Mihawk's sword (the Ends have just the same shape as the two side parts of Mihawk's sword). Just look at your own Avatar (though the side Ends of the sword are cut off in your Avatar).

Pretty much every major villain is a what-if Luffy. Luffy usually vocalizes his opposing or dissenting ideal somewhere along the line. The biggest exception being Lucci and Magellan who were essentially doing their jobs and the latter having some overlap with a few other villains.

No. He doesn't know what will happen in the future plot. But he's bound to get close from time to time. If there were only predictions that came true in the podcasts they might as well be spoilers.

It's not spoilers without confirmation, but when you're using actual facts and story bits, and decades of familiarity with how the author works, and are as obsessed as Greg, you hit close to the mark a lot of times. There's been at least a couple occasions where something that was an educated guess that has been rejected for being an outright spoiler for something that wouldn't actually come up for a couple years, such as Kaidou terrorizing Wano, or the likelihood of him being a dragon. (Greg's column skirted around that issue by saying "OIda likes strong beasts and I don't think Kaidou is a Lion, what else could he be…?)
Like, he correctly guessed that Brook might someday sing a song about Nekomamushi based on the VA having a song about that already, and lo, the very next week that appeared in the manga, and that was without Greg getting any advance insight at all but just knowing how Oda rolls.
Ironically, its Greg himself that gets spoiled when a random theory gets turned down for this exact reason.
So yeah, some things are just "wacky crazy guesses" that Greg doesn't really fully believe that are more "the over-active imagination of crazy fan!" in order to mix it up some, because yeah, if he was right even 90% of the time about future stuff it really would turn into spoiler corner.

Momonosuke hearing dead people might come handy when they reach Raftel, but i doubt he would be with the crew there, so it should be Luffy who can hear Roger in the end.
Luffy could also reach that level of this ability in the future, what would fit the description of hearing ALL things, dead or alive.
But Momonosuke is special (so far), because he can not just understand those voices, he is also able to talk to them and he was also able to hear the poneglyph unlike Luffy.
He may be even able to actually see those "spirits", what would explain him having seen Roger.
But here comes the question, where the heck has he seen Roger or even heard him.
Roger´s spirit being on Wano sounds like Oden somehow calling Roger, while Momonosuke witnessed it in his younger age, so that he didn´t realize what special event he just saw^^

I believe Momonosuke is slowly awakening more and more his ability, which he got from Oden.
They said Oden died before he could pass on all the knowledge to Momonosuke, which i think can´t be true.
Momonosuke will be a fitting ruler in the end and so will acquire the knowledge of his ancestors.
I think Oden somehow gave his knowledge to Momonosuke without him knowing and slowly here and there that shines through.(when it isn´t something that comes naturally without Oden doing something hax)
Him hearing the voices of the poneglyphs seems to be obviously something passed on by the Kouzuki family and i wouldn´t be surprised to see more special skills popping up in the future.

Hmmm that last pic of Usopp, Nami, Panda-Chopper & ?Robin? beginning to be coated. Its mentioned that it looks like Usopp & Nami are wearing Japanese clothing. But look at the ring-like form of Usopp's collar and the lace/petal form of Nami's collar on their outer robes. It reminds me of the outer robes the Tenryubito wore.
