@Shadowgreed:
As of now they seems like the Candy collectors while Bobbins seems like the country destroyer, I don't know If you missed it, but Tamago said that If Fishman Island does not deliver the candies Big Mama will send the Destroyers meaning that Tamago will just make the report and Big Mama will send somebody else to deal with them.
@Shadowgreed:
TIME, not having a ship to carry the large amount of candy that they'll need for the tea party.
Uh, yes. But how does that mean that there's only one candy ship?
@Shadowgreed:
Plot details preventing it or just things that you have made it bigger than what they actually are?
Details are very important in One Piece. You are the one who should know Oda better.
Bomb, party, time until the party, Neptune… you really think Oda would bother with those things if they didn't lead to anything?
We have no reason to believe there's any red herrings in play. I mean, you think it's a red herring because:
@Shadowgreed:
Oda gave us the bomb, he also gave us an invisible reporter and gave us the whole Sanji's speech. The bomb going off on Big Mama's party is way to simple and having one side of the strawhat making a ruckus in one place while having the other side do nothing is something that Oda won't do and you should know better.
What's wrong with simple plot developments? You think that because it's simple, it won't happen? What kind of argument is this?
Same for the "all Straw Hats should be doing ruckus even when separated" argument. Well, Luffy was able to create ruckus without his crew during Marineford. We also had Zoro massacring Whiskey Peak and fighting Luffy while Usopp and Sanji were asleep through the whole thing. At least Sanji and Co. are getting action instead of having a simple, pleasant trip to Zou.
Really, you're pretty much arguing this because you want Sanji and Co. to shine. They can shine, but there are other ways to so without disregarding plot elements as red herrings for no actual reason.
