@Monkey:
I can trust good Texan cooks to maybe figure out cool local pizza styles and even the basics, because they're used to maybe saucy cheesy fun hot foods thanks to Mexican stuff.
But as much cheese as the Midwest rolls in….when your main cuisine influences are Germanic...sorry man.

I think you mean Jon Stewart, and for the record us Tri-Staters are not joking when we assert such a thing. No no no.
I thought Steven made a joke too on that… hmmm
It WAS Jon, wasn't it, that started a running joke by insulting Chicago's piepizza when he made comment on some politician (Chris Christy or Donald Trump?) who was using a fork and knife to eat pizza in Chicago? Which got some Chicago viewers to make comments. And the jest went on for a few shows. . At some point Jon was saying he was only joking, he has nothing personal against Chicago pizza … then remarks he still loves NY's though. And a Chicago pizza company sent Jon a free pizza to taste to try to change his mind

@Jabberwok:
That rant is one of my all-time favorite Jon Stewart moments.
And here is my answer already typed up and posted as I was typing up the question! LOL
But still… didn't Steven also make some joke about it?
