I don't mind people suggesting crewmates. Speculation is not inherently a bad thing. Having said that, it does hurt my head when people suggest Monet or Shirahoshi or etc to join.
I think the problem is people fail to realize what the point is of people joining the Straw Hat crew. Before Grand Line, there was a recurring theme of Luffy's crew being undermanned. Sanji and Nami both joined out of necessity (they needed a navigator, and a cook), whereas Usopp joined cause Luffy asked him to. Zoro doesn't count since he's the first. So the thing is, Usopp joining has a few things going on for it. It establishes the precedent of Luffy going to a new area, helping out someone, and having them join the crew. But more importantly than that, it shows what kind of guy Luffy is. Despite being a coward, Usopp has real courage in his heart, he is a true pirate as upposed to Kuro who is the real coward. Luffy never considers Kuro a real pirate, but he accepts Usopp wholeheartedly. Having Usopp also brings the crew someone who's closest to Luffy's maturity group, and we always see them together joking around more than anyone else. It's why it stings so bad during Water 7 when they fight.
After Loguetown, Chopper and Franky join out of necessity as well. Brook joins because he's the musician Luffy's wanted ever since the beginning of the story. Robin is atypical as she joins out of nowhere, but as a character she's arguably the most important Straw Hat when it comes to the biggest mystery of the One Piece story: The Void Century. She's got the most connection to the lore of One Piece's story. Also, she was really unique when compared to the rest of the Straw Hats, so she's got that going for her. In all of this, the common theme is Luffy either asking someone to join out of necessity, or because of circumstances led up to it.
I think Oda made a powerful point at the end of Alabasta when Vivi didn't join. In her heart she's definitely one of them. She loved her adventures with them, and they were ready to take her on the Merry if that was really her wish. It can be argued that she didn't join because she has little combat potential, but there's a bigger thing going here, which is the idea that her dream is more important than her desire to go with them. I think that's my point of all of this. Every character joined the Straw Hats because they wanted to fulfill their dreams. This is probably the most evident with Robin, who wanted to die after the Alabasta Poneglyph was a dead end. With the possibility of completing her dream dead, she wants to die as well. In fact she even says so, but joining Luffy reinvigorates her sense of purpose and it's part of what keeps her going now.
Every crew member up to this point has been set up in a certain way, typically. You just don't see that same setup for half the people that are suggested on this thread to join the crew. Her familiar design, lack of real fighting potential, and all of that is really secondary. The primary thing is she already told us what her dream was. She just wants to live together with her dad, who she just tearfully remembered she had. The opposite can be stated for Kyros. I don't ever see him leaving his daughter, sister-in-law, and good friend/father-in-law just to go and play Pirate. He also hasn't been built up nearly the same way any previous Straw Hat has been built up.
With Viola, I see a few points against her. First, you can argue Rebecca doesn't have any obligation towards her country, but Viola does. Also, unlike most other Straw Hats, the events of Dressrosa haven't centered around her or even used her as a vehicle to drive the plot forward. This arc feels far more about Law than it does about Viola. This arc already has an insane amount of characters in play, and Viola doesn't seem any more distinct than some of the colosseum fighters. She's got no focus, and would Oda really have a woman on the crew who took Sanji's chivalry seriously? Bellamy suffers from a similar issue, although we've at least seen him before so there's that, and there is time toward the end for him to reveal a sad backstory or have a new dream that isn't "I wanna follow Doffy everywhere!". But I seriously doubt that's going to happen. Luffy can't even pronounce Barto's name properly, and while he is the best character of the arc and I'd love to see him join, there's no chance.
Lastly, Law. He's probably going to get a sad backstory, and this arc has had more focus on him than anyone else. He probably will also reveal a dream. However, I don't see this as setup for him becoming an eventual Straw Hat (why would he drop his crew and possible dream just to join Luffy, when Luffy's already got a doctor?), I see this all as setup for him becoming an allied captain the same way Whitebeard had allies. If the Heart Pirates ally with the Straw Hats without seeing what kind of man Law is, it's going to feel superficial at best, maybe even a little forced. But with the way the story's going, the focus Law's had, and his backstory probably being revealed, it's going to make a lot more sense and have more weight later on in the story than it would have otherwise.

OP Wiki, why are you so goddamn terrible
One thing that really irks me about the wiki is that they use anime pictures as their primary pictures for articles. I don't mind the anime, but to me it just seems far more professional to use the manga as a source, since everything stems from that.
