@Greenmane:
Are you really gonna use baseless speculation to try and prove that she spared Igaram? lol
here we go again with the assumptions
Well see there's a huge difference between your quickly waved away assumed death toll in Alabasta (which you have just as quickly forgotten), and the sensible assumption that Oda intended on Robin as a crew mate, and would not be leaving such a stain as Igaram on her down the line.
Ok…and I said that she wasn't there for the poneglyphs?
That was her job, that was the whole point of her being in the group.
In the flashback we straight up see her first meeting with Crocodile and he is talking about the Poneglyphs.
stop putting wods in my mouth.
and so what if it was a "comedic scene". what about it being a comedic scene disproves it as a fact.
please stop with this BS
She tells that to Usopp in his little goofy interview with a heart in the speech balloon so that he can make a cartoon pratfall. Which she giggles at.
What about that makes you think she's being serious? Or that Oda intended on it being serious?
Whatever kills she even would have made in BW would have been pirates and other BW agents. We never heard of any big assassinations in Alabasta, Vivi never mentioned any political leaders or major rebels or army officers being assassinated. Otherwise who the heck would have been BW's target? They were hunting pirates to make money for the Alabasta scheme at best. That's the point of the organization.
you know as well as I know that this wasn't a simple restructure of the government.
No that's exactly what he wanted lol.
He created civil unrest to become the leader of a country, which would lead to Pluton.
This was Crocodile being greedy by making thousands of innocent people fight to the death for NO REASON all so that he could obtain power and Robin helped with this.
Thousands lol. The rebels were most of the people, and their victory was part of his plan. That the Royal Army lose the battle and the government be overthrown.
The rebels being wiped out would not have been part of the plan at all, those thousands.
Go look at the progress of the battle, the rebels were unquestionably winning, they pushed all the way to the palace, and had far superior numbers.
Poor memory is your enemy.
WTF…
why do people "survive"?
why would any person ever live just for the sake of living? it makes no sense
people live because they have a REASON to live.
BULLshit.
What the hell??? What planet are you on where most people have some romantic reason to live???
Good god, no wonder you can't figure out these characters. It would take being able to understand real human beings at least, to understand the cartoons based on them. Damn kid.
no dude you need to reread the alabasta arc lol…
I don't think there's anything you've been more directly wrong about than saying Robin gave up after the Poneglyph didn't give her any leads, you know, because she actively tries to defend her LIFE from Crocodile literally directly after this.
So yeah, YOU reread Alabasta. So you can like see that scene and how Robin didn't give up. There's not even an argument here lol.
lol…when did I say that that was the only poneglph she read? and what does that have to do with my point?
Because you're talking like that one Poneglyph was the end all be all of her life, and not just another dead end.
are you such a simpleton that you do not understand what war is?
let me break it down for you AGAIN lol
a war between thousands of people
One battle with extreme lopsided numbers.
going on for hours on end…
ahahahaha
"ONE WAR
GOING ON FOR LITERALLY WHOLE ENTIRE HOURS!!!"
My point EXACTLY.
and lets not forget that Croc set a nuke.
Jesus christ please reread the series, that wasn't a nuke.
Wasn't I just argueing with you earlier about how law and the SH's could not defeat doflamingo.
Uh, nope!
Now here you are making random assumptions about someone you don't know lol
The difference between me and you is that I know how to see a character how she really is and
I admit it's unfair. I read Alabasta a few weeks ago again in pristine form. And JUST finished rereading Water7/Enies Lobby. It's really not fair versus your poor memory lol.
not get clouded by the fact that she is with the strawhats now.
So you actually think Oda wanted an ABJECTLY EVIL PERSON to join the good guys. Or did you hallucinate a redemption storyline for her.
The reason I like robin the most is because she had the best character development out of the strawhats(in my opinion).
hahaha, you did hallucinate a redemption arc.
Please tell us all about Robin's character development where she went from evil to good natured vagabond.
whether she is evil or not makes no difference.
What the fuck manga are you reading lol.
As grey as the series is on morality it's nowhere fucking near THAT grey.
Robin; now that she is with the strawhats would never do something like this and it is shown that she starts caring about other people.
You know, you really haven't ever read her flashback. I know I already asserted this, in fact that's my point. Because you, after like four posts, haven't tried to say "YEAH I DID" or anything lol.
So you're ignoring that accusation AND talking about her soooo confused…
It's easy, just go read it before the next post.
What was her breaking point again? please enlighten me
Her breaking point was 20 years of declining hope, inescapable loneliness, and dead ends. And she finds herself deep in a tomb, bleeding out from being run through by a giant hook, after her latest dead end, dead organization, lonely reality.
Do I really need to repaint the image Oda already gave us?
Granted it also takes reaidng Robin's flashback to complete this picture, which we know you haven't done. I see where you might be confused.
Here is her breaking point AS I SAID and as stated from her to king kobra.
Link link these pages prove it.
So according to you these pages, directly after she reads the Poneglyph, didn't happened.
This, this, this, and this.
Robin just slumped down crying in a corner after also bothering to lie to Crocodile regarding the Pluton. Clearly none of these pages happened.
Recollect… what did I say in response to that already?
really, this is just going in circles.
I recall you aknowledging you're numbers as made up. Then you forgot that you did this I think.
So yes, circles indeed.
So….you believe that Robin wanted to find a place to "belong" with Crocodile?
No, she wanted to find a family atmosphere, real comrades. Her tragedy was the company she kept having to find due to the WG being after her, and that even those shitty groups wouldn't last.
I can't beleive you're even arguing this point lol, it's bashed into our heads by her flashback. And pretty much THE ENTIRE Water7/Enies Lobby arc.
and while I agree that she did want to find a place to belong she gave up hope on that way before she met crocodile, otherwise the obove statement is true.
"as long as you take me to the TRUE HISTORY, I'll tell you about the weapon"–Nico Robin and crocodiles agreement.
Which she promptly lies about to him.
