Well, then again. They said there were only 8, but 9 was secret.... 10 could be kept secret as well. lol.By the way I actually think Lucci MIGHT have become an admiral.
I cannot think of too much candidates as Admirals, and Lucci is pretty much the only person that brought Luffy to near-death as much as he was then, and he couldve beaten him if he wasnt very stupid at at least 2 moments in their fight.
He kind of fits the pattern of "Ultimate justice" as well, and overall i wouldnt mind seeing him make a comeback in the series.I'm not really saying i really want him to be an admiral or really think he will be, but im leaving it as an option.

If you are asking if they appeared they are on page 9 as for if they went with the marines or the SHs no idea, they dont seem to be sick and apparently the Samurai aren't that friendly with the WG/Marines so I'm not sure they are with them.

After reading some pages on this thread I just couldnt resist to post.
This is just a random thought but if Kaido is really the most powerful creature, he might as well have an insect zoan?. Maybe a Hercules Beatle (I think that´s) the strongest animal in relation to its size. Now If Kaido happens to be a giant would u consider a giant with the qualities of the strongest animal on earth?

I love how 20 odd chapters ago Dofla looked like he was in control of the new world and is now being pushed around by Law by the mere threat of a Yonkou, which cements the whole "Shichibukai are nothing compared to the Yonkou".
The sky path is interesting, maybe the other figure cut the sky path off? Or most likely Law did.
Excitement level is now through the roof, PH has been good but it was clearly a build up arc for the things about to come and it has done it very well.
hmm.. so new admirals are pretty much confirmed, I'm sure we will find out a LOT once Law and SH have a chat and he fills them in on the whole situation plus a deeper look at the underworld.

I like this chapter, it was a good tie up after the party and lead in to the next situation. I'm kind of curious as to what Smoker's position on chasing down the SHs will be after this arc. Or maybe I missed it, if it already happened - although it's kind of like Alabasta, where he and Tashigi knew the SHs were helping the good guys, but they still kept chasing them. Anyway, I doubt Oda plans to resolve anything with those two anytime soon. It's more like a running joke than anything else.
Also wondering if we will go straight to fighting DD/Kaido arc right after this, or if there will be another small arc before. There's always that excitement at the end of the arc when you're waiting to see what Oda pulls out next :D

Great chapter. Here are my thoughts:
Just what is Kaidou of Many Beasts?
Theory: He has in the past eaten a special Zoan fruit that doesn't restrict him to a single animal form. Think Beast Boy from Teen Titans. Perhaps Chopper's Rumble Balls end up playing an important role in Kaidou's eventual arc.What is Law's plan for the alliance?
Theory: Law's plan is a win-win. If Doflamingo gives up his Shichibukai seat, presumably he would nominate Luffy for it. Luffy would have the Marines off his back while he and Law continue their plan to deal with Kaidou and the Marines would believe they have the son of Monkey D. Dragon in their pocket. If Doflamingo refuses, Kaidou will likely come after him and possibly kill him, once again rendering his Shichibukai seat vacant. Either way, getting Luffy to join the Shichibukai ranks is the only endgame I can see for this elaborate plan.Why is Doflamingo suddenly so reluctant to give up his Shichibukai seat now?
Theory: I actually have several that address this:
a) His current schemes require the WG to back him up, losing them now would strip him of protections he'd require moving forward.
b) Akainu's Marines are a force that even he fears, leaving him to consider whether he'd be safest on Kaidou's sh*t list or the WG's.
c) He's willing to give it up on his own volition, but he doesn't want the humiliation of being blackmailed by someone else to do it.
d) Any combination of the previous three theories. -
Kaidou, the "King of Beasts" is the last Yonkou to be revealed and Doflamingo is shown to be scared shitless of him.
I believe the hype. Can't wait till we meet this dude.

kaidou's epithet is "hundred beast kaidou" not "kaidou of the hundred beasts" so he is the beast himself.. he probably has zoan DF army but he is some mythical zoan for sure..

Maybe this has already been brought up but I have been reading under the assumption that the artificial devil fruits weren't actually cursed and so one person could ptobably eat more than one artificial fruit in addition to one actual fruit? Also Law specifically said that Kaidiu had an army of artificial zoan users, so that's probably where his nickname came from.

I disagree. It's not the ability that matters, but how you use it. I mean, Crocodile honed sand into sharp blades. If Buggy had that fruit, it would be nowhere near as powerful. And who would've thought that bubbles could be used offensively? I for one have been hoping for another Zoan antagonist since Lucci, whose fight with Luffy is still the best in the series so far (IMO.)

Unfortunately, it seems to a lot of fans believe that the ability to kick ass is the only thing that matters in this series . I guess her "sexism" is also an issue and I can understand that if everyone around you since your birth tell you that you are garbage since the day you were born when you know you are not. I can guarantee than anyone would be resentful for life but she will eventually let go of it like Kuina.

Are you assuming her past is a copypasta of Kuina's? We know nothing of Tashigi's backstory.
Truth be told outside of Kuina's dad I can't recall many instances of males talking downright shit about another character's strength and value just because she's a woman. It hasn't been commonplace in the OP universe.

My theory is that Kaido is an awakened zoan user, where it later will be shown to us that awakened zoan users are considered no longer human. And perhaps some hi-tech enhancement too, to the point that he is literally no longer human.

I think Kaido ate the mythical Zoan fruit Leviathan, Leviathan is said in the bible to be one of the first creatures in the world, it's said that leviathan is so strong and dangerous that God killed the female one so the creature can't mate… And if you've ever seen/watched Suprenaturals, then you should've heard about this creature cuz the angels was fighting it and trying to seal it.

An excellent chapter, mainly because we see more emotion from Doflamingo, than his usual grin. So far any that has happened to Doflamingo's business ventures (the Bellamy Pirates and The Human Auction House) he could merely get rid of without a care, since it was no big loss to him. But now Law has caught Doflamingo in a catch twenty-two situation. He either:
- Holds on to his position as a Shichibukai, but cuts off Kaido's supply of SAD and risks becoming an enemy of the Yonko and being killed by the artificial Zoan army he helped in part to create.
or
- Resign his status, and end up the target of the Admirals who would probably hunt him down to the ends of the earth and possibly never return to Dressrosa.
It seems like Law is ready call checkmate, but something is telling me that Doflamingo isn't going to go down against the Straw Hat/Heart pirate alliance without a fight.
I think that Kaido might be a human, since he is probably the guy on the upper left hand corner of the cover page for chapter 693. Although it looks he's kinda wearing something over his face.

I am not postive but I am pretty sure Momo saw a hallucination because he was starving. I don't think it was a side effect of the artifical decil fruit. Also the reason Momo was fainting and why he looked really frail was because he was starving. I think he we t 10 days without eating, maybe???? I could be wrong.
