When you write typical academic prose, it is nearly impossible to make a strong, clear statement. Obfuscation is the mark of an UNintelligent person, to me–an intelligent writer can make his writing engaging without totally sacrificing the professional tone
The problem is writing is a separate skill than theorizing about whatever. And these people, even if they actually have the latter skill damn well don't have the former.

it couldn't….only after seeing Gamakichi's oil attack that Naruto and Tobirama realized that senjutsu may work...this rasengan is different from other one....this is made of pure natural energy unlike other ones which was made of phyical energy/chakra inside....

I actually very much liked some of the aspects of this chapter. It really made me smile in a good way. First of all seeing Naruto only with the Rasengan without some freakish glowing effect always a plus!
But their combination with the second without any real communication, second's practical intelligence (which what should be not anything more), Naruto's dumbness was portrayed well this time too.
Still… "Don't underestimate the Uchiha!" What a fucking overused line. And Minato's inner speech and his speech with Obito. Already we fucking get it. Same thing over and over again. And i really didn't get it how Minato knowing that person could help him win against him? Wasn't he using his full strength, which is out of the question, or by nature he meant he could have talked Obito out of that at the time?
And can some Naruto lover, if we got any here, fill me up about how Naruto looked while he went Senjutsu + Kyuubi mode? In pain arc i recall he looked different? And why didn't Naruto used Senjutsu mode earlier? I guess that could be explained how he protected people with Kyuubi's chakra but he used this he should be more powerful that he could have end the war without the becoming of the Jyuubi probably.

NarutoIn my previous review of Naruto Chapter 641 I created a small poll in regards to Obito making the Sage of Six paths look bad; most of you voted No, but I got my point across because there are 7 of you that voted yes. For me, Obito in this next chapter continues to make the Sage look bad, just by the way he's acting; we may not have witnessed the real Rikudou Sennin, but I 100% believe Obito doesn't deserve those powers.
But let's move on…
Naruto 642: Breach
The images in this review are credited to mangapanda this week.
The chapter starts off with a recap of the damage Naruto and Sasuke's combined attack did to Obito. And it seems it was rendered useless because Obito comes out unharmed, and all his little Black Particle balls come back to him, almost like a magnet. And then he kind of fans the fires away with his Jinchuuriki cloak it would seem…
Even in the midst of failure Tobirama is analyzing every little thing. He's starting to become my favorite Hokage. The first thing to note is that Minato's Edo Tensei arm isn't regenerating. And Tobirama then goes on to warn Minato that if he gets hit by Obito like that again he'll die once more and never return, his Edo Tensei will be finished…that makes me wonder what happened to Sarutobi...he took a direct hit to the face with that black particle stuff earlier...

Anyway, the reason why his arm can't regenerate is because Obito is using a technique that renders all Ninjutsu useless. It's called "Onmyoudon" according to the Mangapanda translations. And this mythical tecnique, or Obito's 'Black Particle technique' seems to be the root of it, whatever it touches turns to dust according to the Third Hokage:

Next, Naruto tries to show off to Sasuke by trying to go Bijuu mode, but ultimately fails because Kurama is still gathering his Chakra. And we get a brief Vegeta moment when Vegeta tried to show off against Frieza but then you get like a short comic relief scene where Frieza's just laughing at him. And Obito starts to do that to Naruto and Minato, and at all the Hokages in general.
But just before that, Gamakichi fires 'Mizuame Teppou', yes it's water style, but I think it's a water style technique where, wherever it touches the enemy it makes it stick to them almost like glue, so if it hit right it could of trapped Obito in a sticky ball, especially since it's a Senjutsu technique. After that Gamakichi's summoning time runs out and he poofs away.
Naruto catches on quick and then he starts to gather Natural Energy as Obito starts badmouthing the Hokages, his father and everyone around him. Tobirama then realizes that Naruto isn't that dumb.

So then Naruto starts to get all badass….and then we get an intro to Naruto vs Pain part two. SAGE MODE IS BACK BABY!!!
But yeah, Sage Mode will play an important role in Naruto defeating Obito. At this point…if Obito doesn't remove the 2nd Hokage's Hiraishin tag from his back this fight will be over next chapter...seriously. I'm hoping to see a return of these eyes...:

And then Kishimoto leaves us with a much needed Cliffhanger. He finally starts to put into play the other half of Kurama that was sealed inside Minato at the birth of Naruto….WAYYYYY BACK WHEN Kushina was still alive..
The art in this chapter was fantastic! And the classic Naruto comedy, mixed in with Naruto being badass being just himself, reminded me of the good old days watching part 1. Now I have to admit...at first I didn't think Naruto was in sage mode when I saw that Rasengan, I thought he just finally learned how to do a 1 handed Rasengan without a clone so it caught me off guard a bit when I saw him in Sage mode that quick.
- But anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, especially on my very first read of it..

Predictions**
Next chapter I hope to see a return of those Kurama influenced Sage eyes back from Naruto vs Pain…and I also can't wait to see the full image of Kurama's other half. I ABSOLUTELY JUST LOVE THIS CLIFF HANGER, best Naruto chapter I've ever read in months.
- My guess is Kishi may do just a few brief panels of Madara and Hashirama fighting or we may stick with the Kurama thing for now. But I think next chapter Kishi'll give us some flash backs explaining the whole separation thing a little more...who knows maybe we'll get to see Minato finally giving the other half back to Naruto next chapter.
At this point I don't really care to see any new fighters show up to the battlefield...I feel like even Orochimaru would end up being seen as fodder against Obito...that'd be something..
If Madara could curb-stomp the five Kages alone...and Obito's suppose to be 10x as strong as Madara right now...Orochimaru's most definitely fodder... :O

Akatsuki was a group of major antagonists. The equivalent of the Spiders from Hunter, or the Shichibukai from One Piece. That sort of thing
Character development beyond "hi im an asshole from this place you never really saw or never saw period" is yeah, kind of important. No one is asking for a Kakuzu arc, they're asking for maybe seeing Waterfall village before he's carted out. Or y'know, getting any feel for where he came from at all.
The entire way he was handled was like he was a thug character like Mohji or something. This was true of almost every Akatsuki. They were treated like thug characters.Nagato, Konan, Kisame, Tobi, Sasori … ? And Zetsu's kind of in the middle, we find out his origins and some other stuff is implied from all the time we see him, but he's so insignificant it's irrelevant. So 'almost every' is more like 'less than half'.
You cannot possibly say that Kisame was less developed in this sense than Crocodile. I would really like to see that argued. Or, say, Sasori than Moria.

Funny thing is that makes no sense! Naruto was reversed Summoned to the Frog world, or something, and stayed there for weeks, or days(And against gaara he summoned gamakichi and his brother for a lot more time). It could be that the frogs can summon you for any given time and you only them for a temporary amount of time, but that seems stupid.

Anyways, I can say off the bet the art was easier to follow this chapter than the last. So what happens?
Tobirama informs the group that Obito can cancel ninjutsu or something, while Naruto (failing miserably first) decides to go into Bijuu Mode. Oh, and his summon disappears. I....didn't know they had time limits....?
Minato laments that had he known the Leaf attacker way back when was Obito, the world would be drastically different today. Well.....I think we all can agree that if Obito stayed "dead", everyone would be happier....including the readers
Naruto Rasengans Obito, meaning that hey he's not so invinicible after all. Took.....this long to get a hit in, but the good with the bad I suppose.
Meanwhile, I forgot all about the other Kyuubi half sealed in Minato. Huh.

This was quite an enjoyable chapter~ Nice to see Naruto in sage mode again and not in that ridiculous cloak mode. I also liked Naruto's observation - that sage mode would work because of Gamakichi's attack - being apace with Tobirama's.
And then concerning this:

If they were immortal, they could casually take hits, blow themselves up and perform sacrificial moves often, until Obito sealed them. This is just a poorly foreshadowed way of nullifying regen so that they can't play those sorts of roles in the battle. As a result, the fight can be much more interesting than it could have been otherwise.

He used the flying thunder god technique to teleport to behind Obito with Naruto. Since Naruto was in sage mode and had a Rasengan ready, he could actually deliver a blow.
It was one of those awesome wordless communication moments. Hopefully, more of that to come with Naruto and Sasuke in the upcoming chapters, and we can get this fight finished lol.
