It was stated in the last chapters that the SH's were taking the LONG ROAD to get to dressrosa, they will probably stop by greenbit on the way. Greenbit might be the island we could see on one of this weeks panel (HUGE TREES), and for chapter 700, we might see the reaction of people all around NW, notably akainu(new admirals) shanks, garp, BB, maybe KAIDO??? and having the strawhats/law reach laws crew on greenbit? Tho that might be a little to much for only 1 chap…
now that you mention it….would they stop at "green bit" because they will gather many "daft green"???

I can't really place it into context.
i presume he means, "my pride got hurt" either because he got saved, he looked awful in front of his friend….or because of aokiji's speech. and he said that to imply that he is losing faith in the system as well.

Just re-read the chapter. On the last page when Law calls Doflamingo on the den-den mushi… he's reading a book lol.
The whole world is falling apart, Law has Caesar, the Admirals will be sent against him, he resigned as a warlord and lost everything he's worked on for 10 years, his kingdom is in chaos...and he's fucking reading a book like nothing's happening lol. What a man.
on how it appeared to me…doflamingo is oozing with confidence, that time he lost his smirk? i just thought of it as law pushed his buttons bad. but i never saw it as him panicking.
he confidently recited about his plan b, then he was quietly reading and listening music in his room. i believe doflamingo is only afraid of kaidou.
but it seems to me he knew WG cant touch him. his theory about about being connected tenryuubito is very possible now in my opinion. i'll make a wild guess and say that he is being protected by the gorosei themselves.
and aokiji is sending smoker to great danger by instructing him to report to akainu. akainu is being backed by the gorosei as well.

It doesn't make any sense to give Ceasar to Doflamingo, he would just try or actually kill him on the spot. Doflamingo is already furious at him so if he tries to troll him even further, I have a feeling he is going to loose it for a second time and it's not going to pretty for the good guys.. especially Law. The only proper scenario would be to tell Doflamingo to go pick him in another island, but he's not there and during the Dofla looks.. they go and destroy the factory…
However just based on a Doflamingo's state how he is just sitting down reading, it seems like the calm before the storm. A battle very soon looks inevitable. I have to say it would be a massive disappointment if the two crews get their asses kicked. This would be the worst time skip out there, train for that long and still get your asses kicked to the first real strong enemy. I really would love a battle between Brokers and Doflamingo vs Strawhats and Law (Heart Pirates).

I'm hesitant to believe that Kuzan needs his hands to use more powerful attacks. We've seen him do two types of bodylocking, there's the Luffy's and Doflamingo's case and then there's the Whitebeard's case. I think it was made clear that it was not about his heart but rather about him not being frozen completely, which to me means he had good enough haki to block it. Luffy was touched, Dd wasn't. Yet the outcome looked very similar and considering we're supposed to differentiate various attacks based on their looks only, I doubt it'd be a different attack that made them look exactly the same. You'd also think that if Kuzan had been serious he would've used the ice ball thingy he froze Whitebeard with. It looks like something much harder to break out of.
Oh, and Jozu was distracted when he was fighting Kuzan, so I don't think you can really compare their power levels based on that only. I'm fairly sure that both Marco and Jozu can do more than they did in the war.

Because Ice cant contract and expand like a heart needs too? It makes sense if he made her a limb because they don't need to move in the same way a heart does.

Yeah, I read the mangastream scans first (to keep up-to-date on discussions), but I certainly appreciate your translations since both MS and MP are far from accurate.
They definitely pulled a lot of sentences out of their ass this week. Especially some of the Kuzan/Smoker dialog, Brook's dialog, and Kinemon's comment on Sanji's food.

Aokiji could not have handled him in 10 seconds flat. How do I know? Because he didn't pursue the issue. While most likely somewhat stronger, he did not want to fight with Doflamingo.

@Nex:Plus, let us not forget that Oda has been building Doflamingo as a character and a major player since Jaya. Luffy will have to go all out to beat him. If everything goes to order, then this fight will put all the others to shame (except for maybe vs Croc.)
Then of course, Luffy will have to have a major power up to go against Kaido.
i agree with you there it will be an epic battle and luffys hardest fight up intill that point and he will be half dead by the end of it but i want luffy to beat him as he is now without any powerups i want luffy to get only one more power up in the series and that will be before his fight with blackbeard and akainu i hope luffy and law fight kaidu together so that he doesnt need a power up then

Actually ice contracts when you cool it and expands when you freeze it. Depending on its salinity, it can still change density depending on temperature :p

It got hostile there for a bit. I would like to point out that things really are going a bit too smooth for Law… Doflamingo is clever enough to counter Law.
He neglected to listen to all reasoning, including gramattical lost-in-translation reasoning me and several others presented.
Simply, what he was reading in English was not under the same rule as in the original Japanese.Despite this, he continued his vendetta of defending his (proven wrong) point, and being pretty ass about it.
So in light of that, consider his reactions now.

I was so happy to see the crew sleeping in their bunks and beds. When Franky was revealed after the time skip, first thing I thought was, how in the world will he fit in those tiny bunks!? I thought for sure we'd see a huge modified bed for him this chapter. But of course his cola caffeinated a$$ was wide awake on deck…
I've been so excited about these chapters lately! Been wanting to do chapter reviews but by the time I come around for it, I feel like everyone has already discussed every topic of interest. Not that anyone really cares its just I realized I haven't been talking much about anything lately and just lurking.

Yes, I thought of them being in an alliance as well now, just not crewmates. I think Law's crew would be incredibly powerful if Kuzan is part of his crew, not sure how strong Bepo & Jean Bart are now and if they're anywhere near the strong 3 of the SHs.

Anywho I wanted to just jump into the Spanish themed descussion in regards to Law's surname Trafalgar being a tie in. While I do think it is possible (and I do indeed see the other Spanish themes with the architecture and Doflammingo's last name) I do not nessasarry think Trafalgar is apart of it…
You see, the cape of Trafalgar is indeed in Spain but it was made famous by the 'Battle of Trafalgar' in which Napoleon Banaparte lost against the British Navy. There is a place in London named Trafalgar Square to hounor the victory. And also...due to this being a large naval victory for Britain, a line of submarines were named Trafalgar during WW1 or WW2 (Can't remember if it was 1 or 2 probably 2 idk go Google it XD)
Oda states in SBS that Law is named Edward Lowe whom was a famous British pirate…Do you see where I am taking this? I beleive Trafalgar Law has a British theme not Spanish. Law also has a yellow submarine...you know the Beatles? So yeah...just my two cents.

I usually just read the chapter (on Mangareader) then i read your translation to understand some context in the chapter better.

From what I've observed and speculate on the same time, Kuzan freeze farts DD. Different from what he did with the SH long ago or Jozu which is basically a icy bitch slap. Also different from the popsicle attack he used against WB. Its most likely haki, CoA, that DD used in order to get out of the DF effect of Kuzan's fruit. Its the most convenient answer I think there is now since its intro.
Also… damn. I can't just post without mentioning how hot Robin is in this chapter. I haz me boner!

Whoa. I never said I was right. I said MAYBE Oda made a mistake. This chapter obviously proved he didn't. But that doesn't change the fact that trolls will still call me out for something they happened almost a month ago.
