He owns 15,000 manga tankobon, so his house is practically a manga library.

When I buy my own house hopefully in the next couple of years, gonna dedicate a room entirely to manga library.

I remember seeing that home library some years ago. It still as impressive as they get. As for me, I can't really go all out on gathering books until I actually graduate university. Sometimes it's scary to think how hard it is going to be searching for the not so popular books you read years ago that is bound to go or already have gone out of print.

i like school prison because it looks a bit like the american tv series "prison break" but in a funny way. i named prison school and kingdom to a freind of mine were i recomanded kingdom and the other not, guess wich one he started to read?

Once you've reached that goal you'll probably still want more. I'm reading around 35 weekly and around 10 monthly, but I have the urge to read hundreds more :D

In my situation I read:
Shonen - 19 Weekly + 6 Monthly Shonen + 20 Irregular + 10 catching up.
Seinen - 4 Weekly + 5 Monthly + 12 Irregular + 4 catching up.
Shojo - 2 catching up + 1 irregular.
Josei - 1 catching up.

So I'm reading 23 weekly, 11 Monthly + 32 Irregulars(Scans or authors, Togashi syndrome, fault.) and 17 catching up(normally old titles like Hokuto no Ken). And I still have hundreds and hundreds of manga that I want to read.
I definitely have to go to Japan complete all the ones I'm catching up and be up to date to the irregular ones, it really pains me knowing that titles like Tokyo Ghoul have more than 80 chapters, but I'm stuck at chapter 12.

I just read through some of the last couple chapters that came out in Young Jump. They just got through with a major arc, and it was really awesome. I guess nobody here's caught up to that, though.
I'm still working on the anime and still annoyed the scanlations fucked up the naming scheme so badly. I hope the actual translating is good at least, I only read like one of them back when I was translating the manga.

Right now, it seems he is targeting the 1000 men commanders and not the lower rankings, but will see!

Well remember that although he may be targeting 1000 men commanders, Mouten and Ou Hon have been said to have the strength of 1000 man commanders or greater.

Although, I'd suppose they're looking more for key players in the strategy making instead of special units.

While the talk he gave him was a big factor in giving Xin the promotion, I'm glad Mougou didn't just up and go say "oh here's a promotion for stopping me from being a pussy." Got some big stuff to do in the next ~fifty chapters, Xin.

Meng Ao (MouGou) is a cool old guy, even if he is not as badass as other generals.

I checked up Meng Tian (MouTen). He is rumoured by tradition for inventing ink brush (there even seem to festival because of that). Archaeological finds seem to deny him this achievement. He might have improved said writing tool, though. On the other note he is probably the inventor of certain Chinese musical instrument, kind of harpsichord. It seems that he got a bit of historical hero upgrade, it's known from history that he was assigned to building Great Wall and roads in conquered states. Apparently he adapted efficient but inhuman building policy. He is also known for fighting Xiongnu.

At what point would Xin technically become a "great general of the heavens"? When he runs his own army like Meng Ao? When he runs the entire army under Zhao Zheng?

Probably some time after he becomes a general. You get seen as a Great General based on your accomplishments. During Ouki's era, there were 6 great generals at once so he wouldn't have to be the lead general to get that title.

It was a bit different though, because the Six Great Generals was a title in which those guys had the full trust of the King at the time, had their own armies, and had the right to wage war at their own discretion. Back during the aftermath of the assassination attempt on Zheng, Lu Buwei wanted to hand pick them his own so they'd be loyal to him, so it's fairly doubtful that Zheng will bring back the six generals system until at least Lu Buwei inevitably leaves the story.

I'd say Xin just needs to be a general amongst generals, one of the most dependable generals Qin will have. Someone with the ridiculous level of power like a Zhao Great Heaven or the original six great generals. And he's on his way, considering his encounters with the Zhao Great Heavens in the next 150 chapters, he's well on his way there.

Well I was speaking hypothetically to the question that was asked. Xin could be a Great General and he wouldn't have to be the lead general. Becuase technically it happened before during Ouki's era. But due to how the story will play out with Zheng wanting to unite China under one kingdom he'll end up making Xin his lead general when he becomes king which is when he'll get his great general status.

I don't really know, but I believe his something like this: … 1000 man leader -> General -> Great General. It seems the only difference between a Great General and a normal General is that in wars a Great General always becomes the commander-in-chief, while the General in a war can be a simple General(controlling 1000 man leaders) or a Vice-commander-in-chief.
"... of the heavens" just means pinnacle!

Anybody knows how many Great Generals the State of Quin have? I know of Mougu, is father, Duke Hyou and Shohei(I believe he is the leader of the military affairs, but the old guy talked about him being stronger than Moubu, so he is a Great General? A Diplomat? Or both?).

I'm guessing there are a lot of great generals considering Qin's strength as a nation.

Shoheikun (Changpingjun) is a prince of Chu and military strategist for Lu Buwei.

I believe he leads a 3000 man squad next. Whether that's an official rank or just something that happens, I'm unsure.

! Basically we just finished up an arc where most everyyone other than the Qins ally in an attempt to obliterate the Qins. Lu Buwei isn't slated to be dealt with until Zheng is 24, and Zheng doesn't really go on a killing spree until China is unified and he starts building the Great Wall. Of course, we'll see how Yasuhira deals with those parts of the shiji later, considering how he's kinda filling in a lot of gaps here and there anyway

! It looks like the Zheng vs. Lu Buwei battle is still going on. When Zheng left to defend the castle (the one they got from the Zhao-Qin Alliance) from Zhao's attack, Zheng's crazy brother who overtook the throne room from the beginning of the series sat done on his throne while he was away. Lu Buwei is there standing next to him. But with Zheng and Xin stopping Zhao and forcing them to retreat Zheng should get alot more political power than he had before. So far Zheng is still a good guy in the series. He hasn't mass murdered anyone yet.

! As Aohige mentioned and has speculated himself, Xin is likely to have that massive failure everyone knows him for, but afterwards he'll end up leading the Qin to victory in capturing the final state left before unification of China, Qi

As for historical Li Xin,

! We know after Xin's massive failure (which MouBu and OuSen cleaned up), Xin is given another chance when invading the last standing Chinese nation of Qi. Xin leads the army along with OuKi and MouTen and defeat Qi, concluding Qin's unification of China.
! No doubt this is the reason why OuKi and MouTen are depicted as peers in Kingdom, so they can be Xin's partners in the final battle.
