The same guy who regularly shits on comic book colleagues for not being true to the characters he envisions.
Also they released a variant cover last week drawn by a storyboarder on that show and it looked like shit.
How many Goblin variants are there? There is the standard Gree Goblin then the Hobgoblin, Demogoblin (The one from Maximim Carnage), Grey Goblin. Any else I forgot?

As a brasilian I don't think Beto's VA choice is an issue, but Magneto's certainly is an ISSUE.
An by good the variant cover looks awful. Did they wasted Chase Connelly to make the series have the same trace, and apparently budget of the first?

I was just going off a list. Even I don't know all of those. My Marvel/DC knowledge falls off pretty hard after One More Day and New 52. I've kept up a little bit through osmosis and reading websites but both companies gave me clean walk off points where they said "screw all the time and energy you ever put into any of this, it's all erased now" and i took them as such.
And even anything before that gets fuzzier because I had no real reason to go back and re-read any of my massive collection in a long long time.

Hey I’m worse off than you are I don’t follow this stuff myself if it weren’t going through related stories on CBR or the occasional spoiler or history lesson on here I wouldn’t be aware of how chaotic, weird, or just plain stupid. Comic books can get.

I think the heyday of Venom popularity is The Current Times actually. There’s a Summer of Symbiotes event that consists of about a dozen symbiote-related titles.

The Goblin Queen reference just reminds me of how weird Inferno is as an event since it was an absolutely massive crossover that none of the various shows or films since have even remotely attempted to adapt or even reference.

Until recent reassessments, it was generally considered a very bad event that existed exclusively because the new editor wanted to get rid of some characters, while absolving some other characters of their guilty consciences. It's also a story that doesn't really fit traditional X-Men story beats and tropes.
FWIW, I don't agree with the reassessments. It's a bad story! Some of the various demonic NYC visuals were very cool though.

Well the kids shows for obvious reasons would never touch it given the iffiness of the TV networks of the 90’s and 2000’s over certain subject matter.
Whereas the movie studios would probably think it too weird to have an X-Men movie with Demons, Hell, & Magic related shenanigans.

Oh, lord, I couldn't even imagining of keep track of crossovers without the internet.
I'm still salty about what they did with Ms Marvel. The most recent Spiderman issue only continue to hammer home how bad a case of fridging this is and making all the characters involved less likeable.
Miles and the Fantastic Four books have been fun, though I'm a bit peeved that Miles is caught up in another carnage event book.

Meanwhile, MJ’s kids “died” (she wasn’t particularly affected by Kamala dying for her) and she’s not even in this issue.

This is a bit creepy and very much annoys me as a fan of Ms Marvel.

Why the hell did he take from where she died and kept it for himself? She didn't give it to him. Why didn't he give it to someone who knew her(literally anyone, any of the champions, Iron Man, Captain marvel)? Why is he using the mask of a teenage super hero he barely knew as some weird guilt trip memento trophy that he sleeps next to when he wants to feel sad?
What were they thinking???
I still can't get over that the main character in this book we're supposed to sympathize with over the death of Kamala is freaking Norman Osborn. I hate it.

I guess I'm looking forward to Al Ewing on Immortal Thor(I liked Thors character design, powers and speech pattern growing up, so I got an omnibus for Walter Simonsons run on the character). I liked Immortal Hulk.

the next event is probably the one with the Eternals, but as I'm reading them on floppy basis I dunno how to recommend.

You sometimes forget that Neil Gaiman did more than just Sandman for graphic novels. I just read "Snow, Glass, Apples", a mini-one he did which is pure Gaiman if someone told him to tell a dark, somewhat twisted version of Snow White.

There’s obviously ways to do a croupier-inspired design well. Just like Zatanna has good magician-inspired designs.
But this looks like a clown costume (probably intentional, considering Wells and editorial’s thoughts on MJ).

Fashionable people can wear tacky shit. Which is also part of a superhero’s gimmick.
Also love the meta aspects of this when the original Jackpot was introduced everyone thought she was Mary Jane but then Marvel swerved everyone now years later Mary Jane gets to be Jackpot.
