People are all fawning over the new Nami, but I prefer the old Nami…not just before the time skip, but like this:

He didnt, you can see him holding the sword, look behing Luffy legs you can see the sword.
Seems like I was right and we will still have people saying this on Wednesday.
I have no problem with Franky's hair, but there's something off about Nami's to me. I guess I wish it was either shorter or straighter.

We'll still be seeing this after the new chapter that shows Zoro
I know we'll be seeing gems from retards such as: "So is that a real arm or did Franky make him one?"
I know I'll do it to make people rage
I want to say Usopp have the best new look but I haven't got a real good look at Franky's whole body or Chopper's other forms. But lets face it, Usopp is the new hotness.
I wasn't a big fan of him, but he may have grown on me a lot after his appearance.
Usopp, really looks great. His entire design from clothes to body structure is much better now and I really like his new hat
I will also add, as it is Zoro's new look isn't that neat in my eyes. The Scar does not suit him at all. God forbid he lost an eye
The mods oughta ban anyone who says "O NO3S!!!!!1 ZOLO TOOOTALLY LOST A ARM!?!?!?!?! AND HE, LIKE GOT 500 NEW SWORDS!!!" from now on.
The mods oughta ban anyone who says "O NO3S!!!!!1 ZOLO TOOOTALLY LOST A ARM!?!?!?!?! AND HE, LIKE GOT 500 NEW SWORDS!!!" from now on.
But, isn't it fun to… Ah, well.
"O NO3S!!!!!1 ZOLO TOOOTALLY LOST A ARM!?!?!?!?! AND HE, LIKE GOT 500 NEW SWORDS!!!"
Imagine Microsoft Sam saying that.
Poor Chopper. He probably got all pity votes. And why aren't they enough people voting for Brook?
How can you not like Luffy's new shirt. It looks so comfy and everything
Now on topic. Usopp's the one I voted for and I still think he got the coolest redesign. Usopp has grown on me over the years I've read OP.
From the beginning I mostly got annoyed at his scaredy cat antics but he's really grown as a character.
Also this.

Elbaf Mansopp (spoiler for resizing)

NAMI..!! that hair…that body..how could I not vote her.. hands down!! then funky brook and hawaiian robin.
Btw..for people that thinks nami shouldn't win this poll just because Oda gave her a "very mature look", tough luck!!. This is a shounen manga...So I'm guessing more boys read this.
Zoro totally lost an arm to a Sea King since he tried to pull a Rayleigh and swim back. That's why Franky went straight to the ship, in order to build Zoro a new arm….not remodel the Sunny.
It's so obvious..I don't even know why anyone would doubt my theory....
I think Usopp's new look looks the best out of the all the Strawhats.

I'm glad to see Ussop is number one, that would be my choice.
Ussopp does look good.. but Im a fan of Zoro ..
King of Soul: Brook! I mean look at him. Also, I can't wait to hear the funky version of "Bink's Sake"

1. Franky isnt so un-skilled as to spend more than 10 days making just an arm. 2. Zoro wouldn't be Zoro the santoryuu master without 2 arms.

He was being sarcastic. It's so obvious… -_-'
Mansopp is in the lead!
But, I'd vote Brook if I could. I'm waiting for the rock version of Bink's Sake.

Just throwin it out for the others still lost in the 1 armed zoro mind set
I like both nami and robin's makeovers. Usopp, is cool, but he's never been my favorite character, so until i see a little personality change, i can't even bring myself to vote for his appearance.
I'm glad Luffy is still cute! It suits him. Looking forward to buying a figurine of his new look. :D

We all are, trust me.
You now realize Zoro has a scar like Rayleigh and Luffys scars might be what the execution wounds on Gold Roger's chest looked like.
Easily Zoro, Robin:wub: and finally a manly Usopp.
My favorite Strawhat change would be Mansopp. Yeah, he wasn't my favorite character before (not even on my top 5…) but he kinda shot up there. It was probably his entrance that made me go "OMFG IT'S USOPPPPP" because I would never go crazy for him...
I'd say my least favorite would be Brook though. Don't shoot me for it. I mean Brook is an awesome character, but Brook's change doesn't really impact me in a big way. When I saw him on the cover spread I was like "WTF HAPPENED, DID HE HANG OUT WITH DOFLO OR SOMETHING?!" Yeah... that boa is not my style... His change seemed really forced to me, imo
Though I remain a loyal Usopp fan, I must admit, I've taken a quick liking to Nami's new look. She's showing as much skin as always, but with her more adult womanly-look and longer hair, Nami has been bumped up pretty high on my "Favorite Hot Anime Chicks" list.
Whew…Nami
Can I change my vote to Franky?
No? Dammit…
Luffy for who he is. His new shirt and the thing he ties on his waist is just love ^^///
1.) Luffy ~ That scar just looks pretty badass, and I really want to know how he got it, even if it might not have been anything really that special, lol. :P
2.) Usopp ~ Okay. Now this was just pure smexiness.
3.) Franky ~ Paahaha!! Franky's new look is friken epic, man! :P It sorta warmed meh when I saw his usual SUPER attitude, and his brand new physique already made me somewhat excited to see what the guy has in store for us now…wonder if he's implemented features into him similar to a Pacifista, too...Ohhh yea..
Now that we have full, in issue shots of Franky and Zoro, I can finally make full judgments on their looks. Beginning from the last to join to Luffy.
Brook: He's changed very little overall. Of course, being a skeleton, there's not much he can change. Except for cloths. Damn does he have some nice cloths. He still has some of his old look, his old shirt. A hat. But it's rock flavored now instead of gentlemen. I love it love it love! He looks great. I love his guitar. Way to upgrade from a sword to an AX.
Franky: A lot of people don't like his new look. They're crazy. New Franky looks great. He's huge, over the top, exaggerated, just beyond good sense. Every Franky should be. And he just looks powerful. Nothing about him is conventional or weak. This is a cyborg. And, best of all, he still kept his speedos, chin, sideburns, and hair, which he upgraded to be controllable now (though buzzed seems to be his default; I think we'll see the hair pop out during serious fights, kind of like Zoro's bandanna). He's still looks like the Franky we all knew and loved, just super sized and awesomized.
Nico Robin: She sweep her hair back. That's it. Still, it does look nice, and her cloths are very flattering. Long skirts work really well on her. I like her look, but mostly because there's really no change.
Tony Tony Chopper: No change at all, save for some new cloths. The same as Brook. The one notable change is that he put a cover over his hat. I guess we have to wait for his other forms to see if his appearance has really changed, though for me that falls under the "power" category, not the "appearance" category.
With Chapter 600, we now have the new changes to Chopper's true form, his natural deer form. Or, to be more accurate, his stag form now. Since that is his original form, I'll discuss it here. Chopper, our little Chopper, has grown up into an adult deer. Taller, fluffier, more muscle mass and larger horns, Chopper's full grown look looks amazing. Much easier to ride too, for those times with he and Usopp need to jointly kick ass.
Nami: She grew her hair out and pulled her pants down lower she than used to. It gives off illusion of maturity and growth. Very nice, using just small alterations to change the way the entire character is perceived. I like her new looks. As for her boobs, because I know everyone has noticed them, I don't see a difference.
Sanji: His new facial hair took me a minute to get used to. But it works for him, very pirate like. Thought it could make him look a lot more sketchy, I think he is handsome enough to pull it off. If, know you, he wasn't such a leech. However, the change in his hair is both the most subtle and best change in appearance of all the Strawhats. His left eye. It's there, unseen before, there in all it's glory. I also answers the question of why he always keeps both covered. The eyebrows. I love it because it is perhaps the most unexpected change (no one really saw this coming), and because it solves a riddle without being obvious about it.
Usopp: The most changed after Franky. More hair, more muscle, more badass. His hat compliments his hair nicely; his old bandanna would be awkward over so much hair. His clothing is very Elbaf and rugged; it makes him look, not quite dangerous, but capable. I will miss his old goggles, I admit, but his new ones at nice. More… mundane, but they match his look better. However, I wonder if they have the same kind of features as his old ones. But that falls under the "arsenal" category, not the "appearance" category.
Roronoa Zoro: His hair looks different, a little longer. Not enough to make a different. The robe is something that he has always needed but we never knew he did. It's amazing on him. Very swordsman. The big change here is the scar. Which shouldn't be a big deal on a man who collects injuries like some people collect air to breathe. The fact that he doesn't have more scars is just a testament to Chopper's skill. However, this one scar, while it does look cool, also seems to come with a loss of an eye. Which is a huge change. For looks, not ability, I doubt nothing less than the loss of a limb or both eyes will affect his ability. So far, I'm liking his change.
Monkey D. Luffy: Up to this point, each character had some wiggle room for screw ups. Oda could fudge some of the designs, have a detail that didn't work. It was okay because as important as the Strawhats are, they are not the main star. Luffy is. There is NO wiggle room with Luffy. He had to get it 100% right, or it fails.
Luffy's new look not only works, it's about as perfect as it can get without actually coming off the pages (or screens in our case) and giving us money. Luffy took his basic look and matured it, still retaining the classic elements that identified him but switching it up enough to feel fresh. His vest is now a shirt, a billowy shirt true, but one that is often associated with pirates. The sash is perfect. Luffy looks like the popular image of a good pirate now and it suits his personally. The final big change is his scar. It looks cool, manly, and tough. But look at the shape. An X. For pirates, X either marks for spot for treasure or is the shape a crossbones make. No better shape for a pirate. Luffy's new look works on every level, which is a great triumph for Oda.
Overall the Strawhats all either look the same or better. Now that we see how they look, it's time to wait to see what they can do.
Usopp for sure, although he is still probably the weakest SH, even after the two years, he is not cowardly anymore and will be a great fighter.
Usopp is probably in the bottom of my fav SH, but his change is the best one and the poll shows it.

Whoa, nice read, actually; a lot of the stuff you mentioned were things I could relate to as well, most notably the "Monkey D. Luffy" portion. ;)
After seeing franky in the chapter, it made me like him even more.
I'm surprised to see so many people who like the new Franky. I like his new design even less now. His trademark hair is gone, as his his necklace, and those classic popeye arms with stars on them. 3 things that added to his great design, now gone. We don't have Franky anymore, just the artist formerly known as Franky. Or as I like to call him, Franky Kong.
Again, as a Franky cosplayer his design is an important thing to me. This is one version I absolutely will not cosplay…
R.I.P. Franky September 2004 - September 2010
Edit: I should make it clear I'll still always be a Franky fan though. Under all those modifications, he's still the true hentai we know and love~
I was undecided and was going to wait another chapter before choosing just one… and I'm still going to wait just one more, though I'm liking Zoro.
Still suprised that Oda gave Franky the biggest change, even if he is that long around
now that the new designs had time to grow on me more … i've to say that i love nami's long hair .. usopps manlier look and sanji's new look! the latter is the best in my opinion coz damn .. it's his left eye!!! XD this look really fits him. :D
i still don't like franky's new design and even though robin still looks nice, she looked better with her old hair style. brook well .. i've to see more of him XD it's hard not to love that skeleton.
luffy and zoro didn't change much for me .. yeah .. few scars and zoro lost an eye but i don't feel like it's a big thing. don't ask me why. chopper didn't change at all ... lame.

My ranking after seeing all new designs
1. Zoro = Love his new clothes and that missing eye
2. Sanji = near close to Zoro and the longer hair and goate are awesome
3. Nami = <3
4. Robin = <3
5. Usopp = Finally he looks like he is pirate worthy
6. Franky = I like his new arms xD
7. Luffy = Not much, but the scar is nice
8. Brook = What do I have to say
9. Chopper = Nothing…
Posting this incase no one did, but if people are curious about where Luffy's scar came from.
http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100428110058/onepiece/images/e/e4/Jinbei_akainu.png
Akainu's hand is touching right where he gets the scar..kinda hard to see but it's there.
I still don't know how Jimbei was able to survive that
He borrowed Pell's armor.
Seems like it… he got fisted through his body as Ace but is still fine xD
Seems like it… he got fisted through his body as Ace but is still fine xD
That reminds me …
!
Anyways.
My opinion on the new looks didn't change much. I like Nami's even more now that some time has passed and I don't think I have to mention how much I love Luffy … but Usopp still is my number 1 in this poll. He changed so much to the better, it's amazing!
I mangasm'd at Zoro when he appeared
Still kind of disappointed in the eye though…
BLIND HOPE THAT HE STILL HAS IT AND WAS JUST WINKING
please don't vote for Franky, his new look is a big disappointment.
I dunno, Franky's is the most jarring change, but that doesn't make it bad. For most people it's just that his old look was so quirky that it rocked, where as his new one is going for more of a hardcore "no longer joking around" style. Which likely turns a lot of people off. I mean everyone is going to miss that hair, but it doesn't mean he looks bad.
It's a lot in the same way Usopp changed, both now have outfits that look like they aren't kidding around anymore. In many ways I saw it worked better with Usopp, but Franky is still nice in his own right.
That said, Usopp looks the best I guess.
For all we know, Chopper is just hidding some awesome new "Rumble Ball" form(s) and we will all feel bad for having no faith in him. As for Franky, I think it would be "SUPPA!" if he had interchangable arms. I have faith in Oda no matter what though.
Franky change is hideous. Thank god he kept his panties or I would have completely repulsed
