RE: Chapter 624: "Queen Otohime" Discussion
It's interesting that they're focusing on him so much in the flash back. And yes a Bobobobobo hair fruit would be very funny ha.

RE: Chapter 624: "Queen Otohime" Discussion
Is there a chapter where Strawberry is shown fighting? Does he have an ability (DF/Haki) or is he just a really good fighter?

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
Don't know if this was mention before, sorry if it has been mentioned before. This is my 1st real contribution to the forumā¦not really a theory as well but...Oda did it again! :ninja: Keimi and the Royal Gondola

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
What? Are you saying people who wore Criminal shirts are criminals? Or you're just being sarcastic to make a point?
Sarcastic. I get that it's a brand name.

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-610/page008.html - The pannel where M.Shirley says "What a vulgar childā¦" I get that Oda is trying to be funny, but she looked just a bit too evil there. She than immediately sends Keimi and the Strawhats away, almost like she was planning something. She than proceeds to "look into the future" and cries out to the town to "send him out of this nation" (the boy with the ripped straw hat). To me this seems way too much of a coincedence. Granted that Luffy tends to bring with him destruction, who is to say she just doesn't want him gone because she knows she doesn't stand a chance? I understand that is purely assumption and I can't back it up yet. The last thing I want to mention, is probably the biggest stretch, Arlong-Sawshark fishman, Hodi Jones-Great White fishman, Jinbe- Whaleshark (former Shicibukai), M.Shirley-Makoshark mermaid. Anyone else notice how every shark fishman is or was a bad-guy at one point? Hell, even Princess Shirahoshi's pet shark Megalo wore a "Criminal" shirt.

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread v.2
So I have this theory that I like to post every now and then and since this is a new thread I guess I'll re post it because I feel it's worth it. :3
Not much light has been shed of the past back before the WG was initially founded and the Blank Century.
You see I think there's a connection to all Devil Fruits and Haki users.A long time ago, I believe they weren't used for fighting, and instead I believe they were used for life applications.
i.e
Lava - for creating more land for further growth in the country.
Light - Pretty self explanatory.
Fire- to heat and mend and melt and cook etc.Anywho, the people of that nation worked together with their special abilities to live and prosper.
This is where I think haki comes into play.
The other nation, who didn't have the perk of having Devil fruits grow or appear in
there land, had to find another way to survive the harsh weather and cruel land conditions that they lived with. In comes the use of Haki. Now some where the "D" falls in line but I can't really figure that part out hahaha but this is what I have so far. :'D
This seems more like fan fiction than an actual theory. Maybe next time provide evidenceā¦
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
I started to re-read the Fishman Island Arc, the more I learn about Hodi the less I think he is "main villian material." Madam Shirely on the other hand has peaked my interest. What if she lied about Luffy destroying Fishman Island and is really pulling the strings? If this was talked about already I apologize.

RE: Shichibukai Discussion Thread
Well we all saw that Big Mam is playing a role in Fishman Island now, so seeing a connection with Jimbe doesn't seem all that unlikely. That being said, Doflamingo's story is still yet to be told.

RE: General Devil Fruit Discussion
I just started to re-read the Thriller Bark Arc and got to the part where Brooke is introduced. He said something that I found pretty interesting, "I have no idea when the end of my second life will come." (http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-443/page015.html). I never really thought of how long Brooke would live until he said that. Anyone have any thoughts on the Yomi Yomi Fruit?
