I dunno, I still kinda think Sado is dead, It seems a bit too on the head to do exposition and have him reappear, I'll accept your argument and say that when I said she was the ONLY reason, but Sado just reappearing wouldn't have any real reader surprise. It'd be like "Oh yeah, Sado, Hi."

I think if Sado really was going to reappear he'd had done it already, and be like "Sado!? Why is this guy claiming to be a brother to Luffy!" Then the explanation. To me it always seemed backward way to introduce Sado. I dunno, disagree. I won't be as rude to you as you are to me.

One, the theory is just that. A theory. A theory based upon pure speculation at that. For all we know, Akainu "chased after her" because she could be another Vegapunk experiment or Akainu's niece or granddaughter or something.

Not to mention even if she was a noble, that doesn't mean she knows Sabo. So this drama you speak of is nonexistant.

Point is, we don't know jack about her. So making her a next nakamates candidate is pure crap.

Besides, Bonney has already shown herself not to be SH material. If we remember, she called Zoro an idiot for wanting to help a civilian shot by a World Noble. Makes her seem kind of a bitch, as well as undermining the whole "I'm a noble and hate other nobles theory".

It's also worth mentioning that she is already a pirate captain. So we can assume she has dreams of being a pirate queen.

The last is a good point, really there are at least a dozen reasons people can come up with against any already established character joining.

I didn't even act like she was a perfect fit, just that she seemed to me like an okay one. And no, her personality is a bit bad, but character development, ect ect, which is something you could say for pretty much every other character.

Do bounties this high really mean anything? I mean, how much money can the WG actually have? If someone managed to cash in all the Starwhat's bounties, it might bankrupt the government.

And does anyone expect the corrupt government to actually pay these high bounties? And who at this point could actually beat them that aren't A) Wanted themselves or B) Marines who probably don't get paid for bounties since they are employed by the goverment.

Jezz, Hostile much Retsudo? How is logically suggesting a character and then showing a point against it make me obsessed with the character? Since my personal dreams of "Bon-chan becomes a girl and joins (thus negating the anime voice actor problem)" and "Crocodile joins for the lulz" didn't pan out, I gotta go with someone else, and logically that would be one of the rookies shown that got beaten, and the bit of foreshadowing with Bonney makes her fit that role.

I dunno, Franky's is the most jarring change, but that doesn't make it bad. For most people it's just that his old look was so quirky that it rocked, where as his new one is going for more of a hardcore "no longer joking around" style. Which likely turns a lot of people off. I mean everyone is going to miss that hair, but it doesn't mean he looks bad.

It's a lot in the same way Usopp changed, both now have outfits that look like they aren't kidding around anymore. In many ways I saw it worked better with Usopp, but Franky is still nice in his own right.

That said, Usopp looks the best I guess.

I think Bonney is the next crewmate.

I think she is why the Sado flashback occurred for one. I believe the theory she's a noble, and if so, then her dream of getting away from nobility and being a pirate will play up Sado's dream making for a bit of drama. She is in need of rescue, setting up a plot where she may escape and run into the Starwhats, and as a female character she is different than our other two leading ladies enough to make her stand out as not just a copy. Her Devil Fruit is sadly a indicator I may be wrong (In that it's Over powered and oddly made for a crew member, much like Boa and Perona).

Predictions

-Sentomaru is about to get destroyed by Luffy in about four chapters.
-PX-5 and PX-7 are also going to get jobbed by the rest of the crew.

Why? Because by comparison the PXs and Sentomaru were the weakest of Luffy's foes when he and the Strawhat's got beaten. Two years have just passed and Oda needs some fodder to show off the the "tip of the iceberg" of the crew's new skills. So naturally having a rematch turn around is good. And having the crew run like scared dogs from these guys just after the time skip would make them look weak, which is not what Oda wants.

• Luffy's next big fight with the marines will end with him beating an Marine Admiral. This will likely not happen until after Mermaid Island and maybe one arc after the first New World island.

Luffy is clearly not in the same tier as the admirals, BUT, he's no longer far weaker than them. This means Luffy can have the typical big battle and just barely win over an admiral using his brains and never giving up. He's going to have to start beating admirals, that's the next logical step if I'm right in thinking he's going to outclass Sentomaru. Which one? I'm pretty sure they are going to introduce a new Admiral to fill in for whoever takes over Sengoku's spot. This new one will probably be the one to get beaten.
