It is more than obvious we are having a time skip now. Naruto did the same thing when it had its timeskip. It is probably a jump decision to add hype for the timeskip.
This place is going to be dead for a month or at least 3 weeks.

As it was said before , the man deserve a break. But lately i think he have take more break in one year that in ten years of work. Maybe he does begin to get tired of One Piece , no ?
Let's not forget the fact that he introduced dozens of new, late-game characters that will remain relevant to the plot for years, had some of the most detailed panels and two-page spreads we've seen in multiple pages of the same chapter for weeks, handle writing, designing, and promoting a new movie, AND while also trying to spend some time with his family.
The man deserves a break. Don't want him to have a stress-breakdown or health issues.

Plus the month wait will make us readers feel the timeskip the story will get as well.I have plenty of things to do so I'm fine with it.

Hopefully they do a time skip like naruto did, a good 2 year skip but then plenty of flash backs to fill people in on what happened.
This way Oda doesn't have to actually write out every detail of peoples training. He can just reference back to a part of a characters training that would be the most important while not taking away from the store line.

Eh, While it will suck being OP deprived, it actually works out perfectly. School is starting within two weeks for me, and with me I'll do pretty good the first quarter, which is short, and barely pass for the rest, so I'm planning on doing VERY good for the first quarter which is basically just September and October, so good for me. And this basically confirms a timeskip.

In Japan, many manga series are first published in weekly magazines before they are published in volume format. Weekly Shonen JUMP is the magazine that One Piece runs in. Every week (barring a break or holiday) the newest chapter of One Piece is published in JUMP. Many other popular series are also JUMP properties. I believe it's Japan's most popular weekly manga magazine at the moment.

As for the news…I'd tell Oda to have a good break as he deserves it, but I doubt he'll be doing much relaxing. This timeskip is going to be an event.

Well, no worries though, waiting a month for the reunion is actually a good thing. It'll actually feel like a time skip if the time skip is resolved after the break that is.
It was about time I started reading Beelzebub anyway.of to read other series
