I think it's fine for anime-only watchers to make predictions, even if the manga readers already know the outcome. This would be an average prediction if the anime hadn't already given information that pretty much rules this out from way back in the East Blue arc. I honestly think it'd be a bit more boring if Roger were actually Luffy's dad. I'm not a huge fan of dynasties. Granted, Luffy is part of a dynasty, just from a different path.

I've been spoiled by early spoilers for far too long. Honestly, I think we're lucky to get next day high quality scanslation. That said, I'm still antsy, time to find something else to do.

Saying a manga is shitty just because you didn't like one arc is really stupid. And Hisoka's personality didn't change during the story.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I'm saying. I liked the Soul Society Arc in Bleach, but would I still call it a shitty series due to the big turn south it made afterward? Yep. As for Hisoka, do we gage all our favorite characters based on how they grow as a person? Hisoka is an evil, self absorbed bastard, if he went all sunshine-and-rainbows it'd make him a crappy character. Yeah, I know you didn't necessarily mean he had to go all goody goody, but I just expected more of a role from him, that's all.

The single coolest character in the series, I enjoyed watching him kick the main character's ass at the beginning.

Wow did Greed Island screw up a good thing. Yeah I know the recent chapters before the great hiatus have been good. Hiatuses have really killed interest for me, and ditching awesome characters like Kurapica for Greed Island was cold. Remember when Hisoka was awesome? What happened?

Teresa - Claymore
At one point I thought the plot of this manga was actually going somewhere. I was and am sadly mistaken.

Dark Schneider - Bastard!
The series itself is great, but it's half finished due to a lazy and/or sick mangaka, so the story has been half finished for a LONG time. Seriously, ongoing since 1988 and only 26 volumes.

Vegeta - DBZ
If only planet Namek had never existed and the series had just ended after the Saiyan saga. But alas, Captain Ginyu and Frieza, and more did come into existence turning Dragon Ball into the soul sucking, endless abomination it is today!

Reborn is a complete waste. Bleach has been -really- bad for the last couple hundred chapters, I still can't figure out why I still read it. Rave's problem is it just keeps dragging on with unmemorable fights. Fairy Tail might be headed that way but the current arc seems a little more promising. Pretty much any shoujo manga isn't worth it unless you're looking for sappy unrealistic love stories.

20,000 years for an immortal dude. Last time I checked, 20,000 << eternity. When I read the spoiler script for 523 I thought it was a fan prediction. And why only go on a 2 week hiatus, just end the damn thing and try writing something new. The series has clearly lost its spark.

So, what do you guys think Oda's fix for Franky's ridiculous arms will be? I say that Franky will be a modular cyborg. He can put on his old arms if necessary, because dear God right now they're eyesores. I'm gonna miss Franky's hairdo.
