For Trebel I originally went with cement or glue, since they could be used rather practically in combat. Snot seemed likely but I can't recall snot being able to stick and lift someone off the ground.

We also have wax as hard as steel from Mr.3, so an extra sticky snot ability isn't really too far fetched.

Crew member haven't been getting a good amount of development for awhile, especially Usopp. He's been a let down ever since water 7, he had one moment of being brave, then went back to being weak, dopey and scared.

When people talk about the final villain, do they mean the last true single villain to be defeated by luffy or the last great obstacle to overcome? From what WB said, the one carrying Roger/Ace's spirits will end up causing a war with the world (WG?), which to me points to the WG (and it's strongest member) being the very last obstacle for the crew to overcome. Since the war was foreshadowed to happen once a new pirate king appears, so it sounds like it would have to happen after Luffy and BB face off for the title of PK. Unless BB starts the war prematurely after gaining access to an ancient weapon and attempts to conquer/challenge the entire world, which would allow Luffy to fight BB as the final villain while dealing with the WG, and gain the title of PK.

I personally believe BB is the greater villain compared to Akainu, both have been known to use dirty tricks, but I believe BB will take the series to a much darker place more towards the end. Whether the darkest character (BB) would be saved for the very last fight, or the darkest event (the war) is saved for the last fight, I can't be too sure.

If we compare the theory to bleach, arguably the darkest character (Aizen) was defeated half way, while the darkest event is happening at the end. So it's not completely unheard of for the most evil character to be taken down unexpectedly in exchange for an overall more dramatic event.

It seems a bit strange that Oda decided to go after Don flamingo so soon after having just weakened the shichibukai group as a whole. Three or four of the seven have somewhat befriended or assisted Luffy (hawkeye for zoro) in the past, which makes them unlikely to be potential enemies for the entire crew in the future (excluding mecha Kuma). I'm hoping once Dessarosa is finished we'll see the shichibukai group made a dangerous threat once again, and strengthened to a level that fits the new world, because quite frankly the shichibukai don't quite invoke the same fear as when they were first introduced. I'm hoping each future shichibukai member will be much closer in strength to a pre-time skip admiral, and not quite so gimmicky.

Pipio: We don't know for certain, but since Garp retired from active service to teach full time, Coby was told to bug Garp about Haki training. We can assume that Coby underwent training similar to Luffy's, for a similar amount of time. The most recent showing of Coby was, I believe, Hand Island, which showed his new appearance.

Then again, he uses Rokushiki, which we've never seen Garp do, so who knows…

Hand Island? Happen to remember the chapter that was in?

Is Coby still training under Garp? Can't remember if he was shown on a cover story or not so far.

Those findings are pretty interesting, it seems a lot of readers must have either started reading OP in a younger age or discovered it later in life and it still appealed to them. If OP was more darker/explicit, the younger audience would probably decrease significantly.

It wasn't stated that the kings punch could take out a yonkou right? Didn't see anything like that written in the chapter. Also can he throw a normal punch as well or is he just tightening his muscles for an hour, and basically defenseless?

I'd rather the Mera mera no mi get lost at sea or go to an off screen character than any SH.
