Hysteria was at least historically accurate
It's been forever since I watched it, but I certainly don't remember it being that way.

Hey at least they allowed cursing.
"Damn the torpedos full speed ahead".
Dear Lord, I just saw the teaser for that Adventure cartoon (the one with the retarded boy and the talking dog and rainbows and stuff).
It was shit.
ADVENTURE TIME
FU5KmnvRKIw
I couldn't even make it 5 seconds before closing it. ><
What? Adventure Time is awesome! A lot better than the current crop of crap CN airs.
OH MY GOD ABSURDIST ENTERTAINMENT!!!!! AS A YOUNG ADULT WHO IS ATTEMPTING TO APPEAR OFF-BEAT AND OUTSIDE MAINSTREAM THOUGHT I SHALL EMBRACE THIS AND CALL IT GENIUS AND QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!!!!
I should get into making stuff like this. I could just wing it, put no thought into it, and some dumbass faux-progressive college kids will call me a genius. It's like animating the Perry Bible Fellowship, without the occasionally kinda-funny ones.

Except Adventure Time IS awesome.
You cock.
adventure time is awesome you uncultured slobs
I'm with Mr. Orange Star and Ms. Green Mod.
But that's not important.
What's important is that you've got to believe in yourself.
OH GOD IT'S 4CHAN ANIMATED
minus the boobs and kiddy pr0nz
I've got it! I'll make a cartoon called "The Time Has Come For Action," starring a man with a Pac Man Sprite for a head, and a talking pink snake. Pac Man Head will lose his monocle, and Pink Snake will suggest they go to Walla Walla Washington to look for it. They hop on a plane, which twists and loops while flying, all the while playing the Dreidel song. They'll soon arrive in a middle-eastern desert, which they will continuously act as if said desert is Walla Walla Washington. The cartoon will end with a slow close-up of Card Crusher's face until it's so zoomed into his pupil that the screen is black.
It will be drawn completely in crayon by elementary school children, and animated in flash. Adult Swim will put it on the air without a second thought!

Indeed it is, but sadly the world fails to recognize the neat and instead tries to focus on bringing us shit, therefore destroying all hopes. Heinous and disgraceful.
May 2010, huh? It's times like these, when you just refuse living or having anything to do with Europe and just want to fly over to the USA.
(thank heavens for illegal downloading)

You seem to have missed the point.
By several miles.
Adventure time is on in March 2010
also..saw the superhero squad show thats now on 9:30pm.. what the?
its kid versions of a few of the heroes.
at least a few of the old shows are back (KND was on today)
Yeah, KND is back… for now. I remember calling in and voting for that show (as I did Billy and Mandy previously) only to lose interest in it later.

You know I totally never expected KND to win the vote-in contest. Honestly, I really had no idea who would win it (not like the first one where I knew Billy and Mandy was a shoe-in). In retrospect I am glad it won though since I remained an avid fan of it throughout its run.

MY MY MY (Johnny Gill voice….for those who knows....ok, bad joke), I loveeee KND, imo that's a CN classic!
I think at times Courage is on too on certain times before flapjack
( now if they can bring more series back from boomerang)
"Stupid Dog"
Blah Blah Blah, i loved that show.
KND grew on me too but i cant watch 1 more second of it because it was TOO childish almost like 10 year old toddlers and its not enjoyable for me.
Yeah, KND is one of those shows you can easily grow out of. Thankfully not the case with most other cartoons. I'm glad my generation seems to be more open to cartoons as adults than previous ones.
I still think Johnny Bravo is by far the funniest of the CN original toons. Love that show, I'd buy a dvd collection for sure.
I remember enjoying Courage quite a bit.
I agree buti found Ed Edd and Eddy (earlier episodes) to be CN's funniest.
I remember being scared as hell to watch Courage. The one I remember the most was the episode with Ramses II.
I remember when they were promoting the hell out of the episode where Eustace apparently was going to kill Courage, setting creepy music to him sharpening an axe. Man, that stuff would never slide today. XD Can anyone find that promo on YouTube? I can't even find the episode title.
I looked it up and apparently the episode was called "The Magic Tree of Nowhere". Here it is.

God, that episode was sad.
i liked randy and his reindeer
edit: which is apparently the second half of that same episode lol

Freaky Fred was certainly…well, freaky. I mean, they start off the episode with...
"Hello friends, my name is Fred.
The words you hear are in my head."
That's some creepy shit right there.

Oh yeah, I remember now. Eustace was gonna try and cut the tree down with the axe, but the promo made it out like he was gonna kill Courage with the axe. Like I said, creepy stuff. Courage was built around creepyness, but I never found it to be such.
TV: "SUPER HERO SQUAAAAAA-AD"
Me: "I….. uh .... what?" distracted by the four-finger-ness
since when is ironman the head guy of marvel, or did spiderman ascend to heaven free of sin
and is the x men in this at all (rogue)?
Courage was an incredible series. As far as surreal goes, it's right out their with Ren and Stimpy, but it didn't have to resort to weird/abstract situations…just unusual settings and circumstances, often with deceptively normal resolutions.
Like, I'm thinking of that one where they went forward in time and got stuck in a banana universe, which would normally be a nightmare scenario that ends horribly, but somehow came out OK when it was revealed some large ape was eating the bananas in secret.

Me too. No other kid's show has topped that in the nightmare fuel department.

Aside from Wolverine and Xavier, nobody else has been shown.
That show's stupid, Minirine (refuse to call THAT Wolverine) has butter knifes in place of claws. That's not why the show sucks, but it's all I'm going to say about it. They should put the effort into another TAS-esque show

Just trying to make a quick buck from the superhero craze on little kids who don't know any better. They're not really heroes or villains, just prostitutes for Marvel.
Worst episode I've seen so far involved a running gag with Dr. Doom farting…
Superhero squad is surprisingly amusing and fun.
Its the Marvel universe in its pure 70's straightforward over the top goofy goodness, from before comics became all serious business in the 80's. And chibi. Its not trying to be pretentious or mature, its just trying to be funny and playing the old plotlines straight, as if it were Dexter's Lab or something. No, its not B:TAS, but it's not even remotely trying to be. Its a goofy comedy about superheroes, not a serious show.
I mean, once you hear that its freaking CHARLIE ADDLER as Dr. Doom, then you pretty much know exactly what you're in for and what they were trying to do.
(Charlie Addler was Buster Bunny on Tiny Toons, and 98% of the cast of Cow and Chicken.)
There are a surprising number of off hand remarks that I feel like little kids will not get. Like saying War Machine sounds like he's hosting Reading Rainbow, and the voice actor is LeVar Burton. Do kids know what Reading Rainbow is? Actually, they have a lot of good voice actors: Steve Blum is Wolverine, Tom Kenny is Iron Man WTF, Tara Strong, Michelle Trachtenburg, George Takei and Mark Hamill?! And of course, Stan Lee.
Granted, I've only caught two episodes, so the quality might vary wildly, but I was pretty entertained by what I saw.
There's something about Mystique trying to impersonate Thor and failing at the accent that's kind of hilarious.
I like the one where Captain America goes to a Civil War re-enactment and says, "What's the worst that can happen?"
@The:

You missed Cyclops,Storm,Colossus,Jean, & Ice Man.

It takes sometime getting used to Adler as Doom everytime I hear Doom speak all I think is why didn't they color him red, give him some horns, a pointy red tail, & a big protruding butt.
I actully dug it, not as corny or overly kiddie as I thought it would be. I few cheap toliet humors and gross out gags but other then that the writing pretty good.

Wow, I must see this. It practically jizzes all over the American comic book fanboys I despise so utterly!
It's on CN right? When??
now Adventure time is April instead of March
Unless they're deliberately excluding anything awesome from the ads, Cartoon Network can permanently delay it as far as I'm concerned. As is, it comes across as another Flapjack but with character designs by Chris Onstad.
adventure time came first, so technically you could say flapjack is adventure time with nautical themes!!
but then spongebob came before that, so adventure time is spongebob minus the nautical themes!!!
but then ren and stimpy came before that, so spongebob is ren and stimpy with nautical themes!!!!
adventure time is great, go soak your head

You forgot one of the best ones, Travis Willingham as the Incredible Hulk (you know, he voices that one guy in One Piece… the dude who turns into fire and all, and that other guy from FMA who makes things go 'kaboom'...XD). I'm sorry, but the very first bit of Hulk I saw in that show almost made me die laughing (60% being because it was Travis, about 10% because I was exhausted)...I think it might have been the first episode:
Their floating phone (lolz) is flying around ringing it's brains out while the whole squad is busy, and someone asks Hulk (forget who) "Can you please answer that??"
Hulk: "Uh, okay. stares at phone, screams RIIIINNG!! RIIIIINGGG!!"
I'm sorry. That's gold. No matter how old it is or how old you are.
adventure time is great, go soak your head
Interesting, what is this adventure time you speak of??

Y'know, I miss the great cartoons of the past.

Holy shit. It's like some Nick Jr. writer ate the wrong brownies before writing his script while his roommate played a JRPG marathon.
