This is kinda long…

Dream:
I start on a long ship at sea, similar to a Viking ship but more grand. I'm aboard with a group of warriors and I am the new recruit. The crew get along great, they are laughing and joking, we all are having a good time. I guess we were on some kind of quest to recover some items/artifacts and before long we are suiting up as land is in the distance. My only weapon is a thin spear which pretty much looked like an arrow but longer. I now notice that there are two other ships that are with us as we all make our way to a beach to dock. Only our group of warriors get out to explore this place and we make our way inland. I remember it being much like a forest and after walking a bit we come upon a 1 story structure that looks like an ancient garage of sorts with a metal plated door. About 25 feet in front of this is a small clear pool. I am tasked with opening the door and proceed to slowly lift the door up. After just getting it open a few feet I see a dark humanoid creature inside, its intent becoming clear very quickly as it lets out a shriek. I drop the door and begin to climb to the roof to get a better view as more creatures start coming out from all sides. The warriors band together and start attacking the creatures. At this time, a strange creature with the body of a hippo and the head like a rhino is coming after me on the roof. I leap onto the back of the creature and stab my skinny spear into it causing it to rampage around. I use the creature to ram into the other beings and they are soon defeated. I hop off the hippo/rhino and the warriors and I celebrate for a moment until a crazy looking older woman comes running at us and seemingly casting a spell. I run towards her and stab her with the spear before she can finish and she drops dead. The items we are looking for are in the bottom of the pool and as the new guy I am tasked with recovering them. I dive in, the pool is maybe 15ft deep, and see three jewels and another two strange objects. I grab them all and pass them to the warriors. They go ahead of me back to the ships and I dive back into the pool to look around. After a short time I get out and notice a large symbol on the ground. I don't know what it is except I feel fear and I know we have made a huge mistake, I have just killed the mother of a powerful Lord. I run back to the beaches to warn the crew that we must leave right away but I am too late. At the beach a Dark figure is standing on the beach with a small group of soldiers. He has created a massive storm and is yelling "I shall never forgive this, you will suffer at the hands of Lord of Destruction" I run to my ship and try to help the crew get out to sea as the other ships next to us has already been destroyed. We manage to escape and upon returning home I am tasked with taking the jewels and items to the castle. About this time I come across a sword by chance that two of the items fit into, the sword glows a light blue after I place the items in it, forming a winged hilt. As soon as that happens an agent of destruction appears in front of me and attacks. He is able to cut me once before I strike him down. The sword glows again and my wound is healed. I rush into the castle passing many trophy cases with various collected weapons and make my way to an ancient archive were wise men/women study old texts. When I arrive on of the wise men is bleeding to death and has just enough time to tell me that I must take a book with me from the archive. He dies as I enter the small marble chamber. Inside there are many books scattered around and long thin blades used to open small side doors on the walls. One such door leads to another room and the book I need is in there. I grab the book and turn around to leave but someone enters the archive and knows I'm in there. I hurry to get out and see a wise woman, though now corrupted, trying to seal myself and her in the room. She picks up the blades on the ground and starts throwing them at me and I return the favor. I wound her enough for me to make an escape. I now know I must leave the kingdom as the Lord will never stop hunting me. On my way out I climb to the top of one of the trophy weapon displays and grab a dagger. I unsheathe it only to find another sheath then another then another. When I finally get to the dagger it is wooden with symbols burned onto the blade part. The king comes out and sees the dagger in my hand. His eyes open wide showing me that the dagger is very powerful. He knows what I'm doing, understands and yells to me "Son, you must learn the language of Keuth, study it, when you read the book you must picture a man chained up. It is more powerful then you can imagine,be careful" and with that I turn my back run from the castle at full speed.
Fun stuff to say the least.[/hide]

RE: Enel vs Makino
Since Makino is bordering on pwngoat/meme status from her fans, I'll give my faith to the only one who can serve Lightning in a bottle, Enel.

RE: Capcom Thread - A Giant Woman
@RobbyBevard:
Why? Why ? Why ? Why ?
Classic Robby.
If they release a new Dark Stalkers any bets on the extra version name(cause you know it would happen)? Maybe Omni Dark Stalkers? or F-U you'll still Buy it Dark Stalkers?
I'm thinking Supreme Dark Stalkers Enchilada. -
RE: General Prototype Discussion
Dam, I loved the game and had no trouble with the controls or difficulty. I could flow through it well and finished the game on normal and hard. I enjoyed the extra story in the form of the Web of Intrigue, really added a layer of depth for those who were interested. I would consider the game a "prototype" in itself with the freedom they gave you to run around, the powers and the way combat could string together so well if you knew how to, with that said there were of course a few little gripes I had with it that I hope have been fixed in the second one.
Even though I like the first, I'm not digging the main character of the second(thought it would have been Alex again) and the story bits I've gotten aren't interesting to me atm but we'll see in time as more is released. -
RE: The Walking Dead (AMC series)
! I guess you haven't read the comics? :) In any case, you might be pleasantly surprised.
I haven't read the comics but I'm aware that the series is loosely based on them(friend of mine told me some of the changes). Thanks for the bit of info, I'll be looking forward to good news.

RE: The Walking Dead (AMC series)
Only thing I really want from this season is for them to ditch the 5/6 of show time spent on useless unengaging drama and more time on the main reason I started watching the show, zombie conflict. Also fingers crossed for dudes wife dying, I know it won't happen though, I just find her to be the most annoying character.

RE: Capcom Thread - A Giant Woman
but I really haven't had high expectations of Capcom for a LOOOONG time now.
Despite it's amazing gameplay…. RE4 IMO was the beginning of the nosedive the series plot was taking. (if you don't want to count Zero). Save the president's daughter? Umbrella bankrupt? Awesome twists guys.....Same here, Capcom has been making very poor choices for awhile now so there was no surprise to hear the most recent news. I think stuff like this shows to a degree a broader problem growing in the gaming industry. It seems like people with no history of storytelling or knowledge of a series are being hired to write for companies as evident to me in games like RE5 and Metroid:Other M, you can find better material in fan-fiction. Companies are destroying there own games and I worry for the future of gaming as a whole.

RE: Toriko
Really digging the past few chapters, pace has been good for me and I like how Sunny got himself an Ancient pet, makes me wonder if Zebra will pick one up too cause you know his would be bad-ass. Only goofy thing is everyone wanting Komatsu's anus.
