@Rosé:
This whole war with WB, is more the WG's concern and orders, not the marines. Also, marines and the WG are the same thing, admirals start off as marines and work their way up. Marines are simply the weaker footsoldiers.
Also, if Luffy finishes them off quickly, how will the WG ever find out? Till then, they'd have escaped to Fishman island. Which in a way supports the no help for those losers theory. If a admiral does come, or more…when will they have the time to get their ship coated?!
That reminds me of something I've wondered about. What's to stop the Marines from simply patrolling where pirates come out of Fishman Island? Unless there's more than one exit or the exit point is purely random, it'd seem much simpler, or at least equally effective, to just wait and blast them as they emerge from under the sea. Heck, even if there are multiple and/or random exit points, even a patrol of the general area could get some results.@DesertSpada:
To Lucky| Think of it like this. If a world known criminal, one of the most wanted, were to disappear for years & show up on the street, would authorities leave him be?
If that guy were to appear just as someone at least as dangerous and, worse still, guaranteed to be hostile towards those same authorities while the reappearing guy would at least for a while remain where he was, yes I think they would.
Whitebeard's going to come gunning for the World Government to save or avenge Ace. Rayleigh's sitting quietly at a slave auction ready to sell himself. Past events/notoriety aside, who's the bigger danger here?
