Ok, so I was watching basketball tonight (college), and for the first time ever I noticed Pepperdine's mascot, "Willie the Wave". Now, I know Franky is generally accepted as an Ace Ventura / Pop-eye hybrid, but as I have never seen this mascot suggested before I thought I would throw him in here.

Again, not all filler is bad…the Anime has to put its own spin on things once in a while or else it would be unoriginal and boring. Do I think that there has been filler in this arc that is merely meant to waste time, yes. However, there is a type of filler that pads out the episode, yes, but at the same time expands on what we saw in the manga and in some cases, makes it better. And unlike Impel Down, that is the majority of the filler we have seen in the current arc.

If you truly want to watch One Piece with no filler, stick to the Manga until One Piece Kai comes out 20 years from now.

I think this takes the cake for the worst justification of filler i have seen. Being faithful to the manga means being unoriginal and worst of all BORING? what the hell?
