I had thought the same things NC did about Cocoa Puffs Sonny, and the Trix Rabbit. Too bad the cereal mascots can't trade kids. Then the kids from Trix could be part of Sonny's intervention, and the kids from Cocoa Puffs would let the rabbit have some cereal.
Mr. Satan wasn't really weak. It was just comparatively speaking, he didn't match up to the over powered fighters. But he was strong enough to take on most non-overpowered-super-alienss
I loved this show when it was on. I particularly loved the 4 part City of Stone where we learn the connection between Demona and MacBeth. If I were to have a gripe about this show it would have been 1 or 2 specific episodes and that's it.
But now the re-airings have cut some pretty cool scenes from the series…Like Goliath kicking off the head of a robot Xanatos, or Xanatos's dad shooting Oberon with an Iron spear. These edits were pretty obvious because of the unnatural jump in the scene (and music.) They also edited a scene where Goliath punches his fist straight through MacBeth (revealing it to be another robot...) to a jab. I know there were a couple others, but I really do miss those badass scenes.
I'm actually glad that it's Edo Luffy. I really do prefer these to other types of filler episodes. With Edo Luffy, you don't need to worry about going against what is canon. So you can have more freedom to toy with the thought about what they would be like in a different era/location/world.
Okay, so it seems Iva has eaten the mindfuck fruit. Hell every time I see a new application of its powers, it just mindfucks you again. Now he/she is a giant head with the ability to wink itself across a pier.
I just love Izumas two face design. Can't pass that up. Plus he/she works for Ikanoff. (Not to mention the noble sacrifice recently…)
I am thinking that Shryuu is the reason Blackbeard is at Impel Down. Probably to have him join his crew. That is what I think.
As for Mr.3, if the Poison doesn't melt his wax, he might be the perfect defense against Magellan. He could candle-lock Magellan into submission, and then cover him in wax, essentially suffocating him. But that would be killing.
I was so happy for Che, he finally got a belly full of meat. Of course, credit was given to that useless paprika water.
Liked the introduction of Gutterball, hope he appears in more episodes. I had fun watching it, and we all laughed.
I'm not too surprised it's ending. I had a feeling that this was going to be the last game. (Of course, I thought the Christmas bowl was going to be the last game too.) So we'll have the end of the game this week, and next week, I'm betting it will be one of those "What happened to everyone" type of endings.
