i think superjew nailed it. probly a fishman, but not jinbei. jinbei is already established as a huge power. probly stronger and more well known than luffy. oda probly wouldnt want a nakama over-shadowing the captain.

so i notice most of the red-beard pirates along with blackbeard, sengoku, garp, and whitebeard all wear capes (or coats). do capes=power? or perhaps status? when will luffy get a cape?
