I'd been expecting this arc to end on a cliffhanger of sorts. Thought it'd be chapter 900 (and what a cliffhanger that would have been), but the somewhat more subdued chapter we've got here isn't bad by any means.
Still a bit salty that Jinbe is staying behind, even if it's for good reason. Obviously with Big Mom showing up, he, the Sun Pirates, and the Germa are going to have their hands full with escaping themselves now. I imagine Jinbe et al. have the better position, as they can dive underwater where BM & Co. will have a harder time following, but the Germa are in a particularly difficult spot. Despite everything the Vinsmokes put Sanji through, I kind of like the idea of them sticking around for future arcs (and let's be honest: Reiju, at least, deserves something good to happen to her).
Pudding reminiscing about her "last request" was sweet. Seriously hoping that she returns when the fight against BM takes center stage, so that she and Sanji can rekindle their relationship (I know we're not going to get anything explicit, but I'd like the two of them to eventually get together).
The scene with Katakuri and Brulee was also surprisingly heartwarming. Actually starting to warm up to Brulee a bit as a character.
And last but not least, the Zeff/Sanji parallel bit was very nice.
Looking forward to where the next few chapters take us. I imagine we'll get some shots of current events going on elsewhere in the world as usual, but are we going to actually get the Reverie started before Wano, or is that just speculation?
