Well, that mermaid obsessed guy appeared quickly. But, it was nice that one of their own kinds smashed him for good! I wouldn't want to imagine what reckless thing Luffy would do if he learned of Shira being captured…
And seeing CP0 was kind of a surprise.. Though, seeing Shanks being "buddy" to those five elders was even more surprising.
I could bet we won't see their chat for a while... Kinda makes me curious now: is he going to support Luffy or is he going to do the opposite...?!

RE: Chapter 906: The Holy Land Mary Geoise
Mah, that was a nice chapter. Lots of "Pro-Luffy" people at the reverie…
I saw, in my mind, the next hell going lose after this idiotic mermaid fanatic noble got screentime... I am sue this will lead to some kind of an uproar. That strawhat at the end and Doffies statement. I wonder what's that all about?!

RE: Chapter 902: End Roll
Uh, that bunny girl surely knows how to make one feel good "It's not your fault.. If he hadn't sacrified himself we all would have died" … Good job!
And in a way my hunch was right, Pudding erased herself from him... Though I wonder if she will keep his memories somewhere safe and eventually returns them to him one day... She doesn't seem able/willing to dispose them. In a way I feel a little sorry for her..So, what comes next? In one statement last year Oda mentioned Wano wouldn't come in for the next two years....

RE: Chapter 900: Bad End Musical (Break)
Now that you mention Pudding… Was shown what she discussed with Sanji before that one chapter ended? I cannot remember to be honest (head is full with other stuff at the moment)...

RE: Chapter 900: Bad End Musical (Break)
At a certain point I completely lost the understanding for this chapter…. I think it was right after the chorus started.... when it went to WTF-mode... up until there all fine.. nice start of the climax...

RE: Chapter 896: The Last Request
That was a nice finale for the end. A very respectful ending on both ends…. Katakuri finally falling like a tower. Luffy showing his respects for putting his extra hat upon Katakuri's face, or rather his mouth.
Oda didn't add any kind of "continue fighting although struggling to stand straight"-fight scenes which you see every so often in those kinds of mangas. I personally think that was a good execution decision.
I presume Katakuri would have had more endurance if he had encountered more enemies like Luffy previously. Eventually giving the battle a different outcome. Thus in my humble opinion a kind of reasonable ending.
Lastly, going by the final line one could interpret that he is looking forward fighting Luffy again. Now on to waiting for next week... (I wonder he will finally have a bounty increase in case the outcome of the fight gets into the Newspapers...)

RE: Chapter 892: Acknowledging a Strong Enemy
Uhm, I am quite confused now… with the last two pages.. Is Luffy finally seeing his possible future like back with Mihawk or is he actually being torn apart..
Also, who might the woman in the last panel be? I don't recognize her silhouette.. -
RE: Chapter 890: Big Mom on Top of the Ship
Gosh, that final page with Nami … "Do you want to be my slave or do you want to die?" including that face... That page cracked me hard. Great chapter! > SO NAMI AND CHOPPER OVER THE COURSE OF 2 YEARS GREW STRONG ENOUGH TO DEAL WITH SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN AT THE TOP FOR DECADES WHILE 2 ARCS PRIOR THOSE 2 WERE SCARED SHITLESS OF DOFLAMINGO. WOW SUCH GREAT WRITING There is clearly a difference between using one's own power or some "natural phenomenon". You saw exactly how they all were almost wetting their pants. Even though, they (more or less) came up with a plan; using nature against BM. They basically made a giant taser and had "free way" to run.

RE: One Piece Chapter 879:One of Big Mom's Three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri.
Uh, that "fight"… well - can't really call it a fight. Luffy surely is underpowered in comparison to Katakuri...
Also, I don't really have the feel Katakuri takes this seriously as a fight. It looks like "Show me what you got", like an evaluation of Luffy's skill set.
Most he does, in my view, is dodging and executig counterattacks (which are more powerful versions of the preceding attack) most of the time. Though, I don't even have the impression Katakuri is THAT loyal to Big Mom.. he might even let go Luffy after showing him his (absolute) limits.
Now, either Luffy finds Katakuri's (natural) weak spot or he pulls off some kind of Deus Ex-machina technique to bring him down.. Therefore, letting him go seems the most viable option to me. Luffy might be mortificated (once again), but alive...As for Jimbei, quite a nice speech to bring the crew back on track. It seems as the only way to stall her is to get rid of the candy slurper... but being as it is, I think there is no one capable to do so in the current fraction of the crew..So, running outside of her reach until the cake arrives will be the challenge here..
I really like where the arc is leading to... making it all a great prologue for the Kaidu fight... which might be a long way set into the future... (I doubt Law's crew is (way) more powerful than Luffy's)

RE: Chapter 878: Mink Tribe, Guardian Chief Pedro
That's a nice cliffhanger now :wassat:
Luffy seems pretty confident about that, why else would he smash the mirror after all?!
Though, it is nice to see a fight against a powerful enemy which wasn't "pre-prepared" by (at least) one of his mates or allies and w/o possible "interference" from outside by one of them.(yes sorry, repost… But I wanted my thoughts in the correct topic at least)
