Yeah no that's fucked up. People with valid US ID documents being turned away on technicalities or people being denied the ability to procure ID when applying for well in advance with fair documentation is just horrible. And physical birth certificates? What decade is this even. All of this information should've been digitised like 15 years ago.

Nah that's standard American english, everyone knows it's not a pie, it's just the way the words have worked out.
Except in goddamned Chicago.

It looks like I'm a Dominoes guy for life, at least until they openly discriminate against a race or culture. Not that I'd eat that stuff anymore anyway. Good pizza is the East Coast's greatest natural resource.

Chicago style pizza is good. It's a neat saucey lasagna crusty thing. It tastes good, its a neat experience.
It's just not in any way or form pizza and should really be called something else. A Pieza or something.

While seeing Milo Yiannopoulos (hard to spell last name like a moutherfucker) take his talents back to the unemployment line.
What's truly stunning about that article you just posted is that nowhere in the article does it actually disclose what Milo said in his 'one column' to get himself fired. Like seriously, not a smidgen of the content is of the column is disclosed, they don't even acknowledge that they've failed to mention what he wrote! I mean, I don't like the guy, but the article's saying absolutely nothing new if it doesn't tell me what he did this time to get himself fired other than, well, existing as a person who did what he did in the past. Come on 'Raw Story', give me the raw story, not just the bloody historical backdrop!
EDIT: http://money.cnn.com/2017/11/04/media/daily-caller-milo-yiannopoulos/ here we go, CNN's bothered to actually say what he was fired for. Namely, he defended Kevin Spacey– No No wait my bad! His column was ABOUT Kevin Spacey. But there's still no indication that he said anything terrible in it. But social media harassed the Daily Caller for even hiring him, and employees were unhappy with his employment, so he was fired. Eh, thought there'd be something more juicy behind the story, turns out its same old same old..
EDIT 2: Apparently only the Hill bothered to report this correctly http://thehill.com/homenews/media/358785-daily-caller-drops-milo-yiannopolous-after-one-column , Milo did make several stupid claims about the LGBT+ community in his 'column', although none seems to be the major reason why he was fired. Social media then intervened, employees voiced dissatisfaction, and he was removed.
^^^ this kind of bs where I need to read 3 articles to get the actual story is why I hate american media. Just report everything already, don't purposefully omit certain crucial points!
http://dailycaller.com/2017/11/03/a-round-of-applause-for-kevin-spacey/ - Milo's article, if anyone wants to read it. It's full of dumb analogies and completely off-topic insights which he somehow links to his own islamophobia and hatred of the left :getlost:
-
Milo's shitty brand being ruined is certainly a joy, the idiot that brought him on board getting fired feels like an extra dose of "fuck you" that I'm enjoying too.
That merely supporting Milo will get you offed even by conservative sites is just hilarious. How did people not get it from Breitbart of all places booting him. He's a dead end business move all around. -

She also said she considered replacing Hillary as the nominee with Biden after her pneumonia scare (because that's totally democratic) and was apparently the one who put Lieberman on the ticket with Gore.

Freakin' Sweet. It's nice to see a toxic media personality like Milo go down.
Meanwhile, Trump seems to be channeling me when I was a pre-teen. Sometimes I wonder if Trump is a terrible person, or just really stupid. It can be both I guess.
Also, I'm seeing a lot of stories about Trump and Russia lately, but I think I found one bout Kusher and Russia. "Russia funded Facebook and Twitter investments through Kushner associate."
Two Russian state institutions with close ties to Vladimir Putin funded substantial investments in Twitter and Facebook through a business associate of Jared Kushner, leaked documents reveal.
The investments were made through a Russian technology magnate, Yuri Milner, who also holds a stake in a company co-owned by Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior White House adviser.
Edit: Oh hey, Nilitch posted the source of this, the Paradise Papers, in the Random News thread.

Wilbur Ross, the commerce secretary in the Trump administration, shares business interests with Vladimir Putin’s immediate family, and he failed to clearly disclose those interests when he was being confirmed for his cabinet position.
Is there ANYONE in this administration that doesn't have ties to Russia? Cripes.
Once upon a time I thought it might just be two or three of them but it seems like basically the entire cabinet was in on this now.

When you really get down to it, Putin's state isn't a big Palpatine like empire of cunning and power… so much as a huge mafia state of officialized mega corruption.
A candy store for the corrupt and amoral around the world, so long as they go through the proper channels.
How can the sort of people Trump works with resist that candy?? -

I feel like in Japanese culture, the sarcastic exasperated "are you seeing this?" expression doesn't really exist traditionally.
Like you don't really see the "Jim from the Office" face and that sort of thing. But Trump's magic has produced that result over and over for Abe.

I am annoyed, because I can imagine right-wing trolls gathering and laughing about this. I love how this lady flipped off Trump, but the way things turned out made her the fool. I hate that they have this story to fuel them now. I need to find a story to counteract this…
Okay how about this. Children sue Trump over Clean Power Plan. The chance that Trump will publicly badmouth or tweet children is the highest it's ever been.
Also, in the NJ governship, it turns out Jon Bon Jovi is campaigning for Phil Murphy. While I think that's neat, there's a sign that few people care about this election:
The Garden State rocker played a three-song set in front of about 500 people at a Murphy rally at the House of Independents in Asbury Park.
Sadly, people around here really don't care much for this race, either that or Bon Jovi can't draw a crowd anymore. As much as I dislike Kim Guadagno, Phil Murphy comes off as kind of a creep–so I can relate to people now liking him. Still, hopefully this race is as much of a sure thing as it seems tomorrow. Or, just go watch the VA governor race--that's the interesting one!

There's been some buzz that Palin-lite Betsy DeVos will be the next to exit Trump's cabinet. A Politico expose and some leaks from officials suggest she's frustrated with her lack of power and inability to get anyone to work for her.

You know, you guys wouldn't have a complete lack of power with everyone opposing and blocking you… IF YOU WEREN'T TRYING TO DESTROY EVERYTHING AND JUST GIVE YOURSELF BONUSES.
If you were actually doing your job, rather than the opposite of it, you'd have plenty of power and support. To you know, help the people in the way that your GOVERNMENT JOB asks of you. You guys are all employees now, not the bosses.
She assumed this would be a quick and easy scam to loot the public schools for her own uses. Of course she didn't realize that public education is a long-standing institution that is fairly popular with the 99% and not that easy to subvert from the top down.

My impression was that she feels constructed by the already limited scope of the Secretary of Education, since it's pretty much the least influential Cabinet position. The sharp opposition she's faced is just icing on the cake.
Of course, if she'd had any real understanding of the office in the first place this wouldn't be an issue.

Continuing in America's black comedy, a war-torn nation finds the time to think about the environment and do it's part.
The Independent reported that Syria signed the accord. The move leaves the U.S. as the only country in the world that is not supporting it.
